Ive been to auto parts store all over The tri-state. And I’ll tell you this much I have never had such professional people be as kind and is helpful as Newport, Kentucky advance auto parts. Artie The guy who runs commercial to be specific. He was absolutely amazing and helped me every step of the way. He was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure my vehicle got back on the road. I will forever recommend Newport advance auto parts because of him and the helpful staff. Thank you, kind, sir you have Been a godsend.

Quinton was excellent! He came out to look at my car in-person to check if I had firework damage and helped me get rid of one spot with a product called Bug & Tar Remover. The service here has always been great.
Advanced generally has the parts I need in stock. The app is very helpful because it walks you through each part you may need for your repair. I needed a water pump and I was prompted to create a kit which showed me the other parts that I needed for the repair of my water pump. I did not know that I needed a thermostat or other items. I would have assumed the water pump itself was all I needed to order. Also, they always have savings when you order through the app and I use the pickup at store method. My order is always prepared quickly and I am notified. My order is always ready as soon as I arrive at the store. The associates are very friendly and I appreciate their hard work and great customer service skills. Great job Advanced! Thank you for all you do!!!!
My only complaint is that the location in Covington is no longer open but, I will not take a star for that. I just have to drive a bit further but, it's worth it!
Mark, the GM was very helpful and kind and definitely appreciated the gravity of my situation. I came in here very stressed and leaving not so much. Angel, the young lady helping me was very knowledgeable and also super friendly. Great customer service all around and definitely workable with pricing and not trying to gouge because I’m a female, which does happen more often than you think. I will definitely come back here and send friends & family here for their auto repair needs and parts. I really appreciate the customer service in a regular situation, but the stress of having a car breakdown really does induce a special kind of anxiety!… The attitudes of these two combined really took the anxiety away so that I can concentrate on the logistics and get down to the issue and get the vehicle fixed. Thank you, Matt and Angel, you guys we’re both aces on getting me the parts and installation necessary and also giving me the great attitude and knowledge that was not included in payment but only given when it comes organically like it did from you too. Thanks again! Definitely a recommend!

So I bought a battery the other day and run a review about how epic of an experience I had with Angel and Matt, the GF. After all the work and anxiety, he came down to and not being the battery, but I needed an alternator. But I knew exactly who to call. With one phone call I was like right back to join Matt who treated me again like an actual friend while taking care of business at the same time. They were sorry to hear about the failure of the battery and it being the alternator, but they were going to help to get me back on the road. At price gouging only support. No bad attitude Only positivity. And that’s exactly what I need when going to car troubles just like anyone else. This auto parts source stands out against the rest just because of the fact that I don’t have to worry about being screwed over because I’m a female and I’m just gonna get the truth, I’m gonna get help that I need, and I’m gonna get all the information and all of my questions. No funny stuff. I actually went to a different advanced auto parts right before this, and they tried to charge me for the same part Almost $100 more. I will leave that location out. I just want to get extra act late because this shows the consistency not just a one time thing, but that Angel and Matt are consistent and their store is running like that all the time whether it be a weekday or a weekend. Thank you guys so much and trust me, I will be back if I have to, lol! I will definitely recommend you to all my friends and family
Had to stop by here on a motorcycle ride bc I lost the nut I needed for my battery to stay secured . Matt gladly helped me out and gave me exactly what I needed to get me back on the road, free of charge . Really appreciate you . Highly recommend !
Today I came in the store and emotional mess over a car problem I had been fighting with for 3 hours. Mike was so patient with me as I cried my problem to him. The young lady working with him grabbed my hand and comforted me and assured me they would help to calm down and we would figure it out together and the other man came from back and offered me a drink. Mike looked at my car and seen what needed to be done. He had me fixed and on the round within 15 mins. They not only saved my car today but me in a middle
Of mental breakdown down as well. I am now a customer for life and will never shop for auto parts elsewhere!
Kayden was so helpful tonight when I came in flustered with my owners manual listing 2 different kinds of motor oil depending on engine size . Did I know my engine size? No I did not . But Kayden was able to use my VIN number and get it all figured out ! He alerted me to a sale that was going and it saved me some money too! Thanks Kayden !
The gentlemen working today really saved my day! My battery needed replacing. The battery was very corroded and needed to be worked on for awhile to get out of the hood. They were able to get the battery out with some above and beyond service. The manager even chipped in. They could see my distress when they said I’d likely need to take it to a mechanic. My kids were with me and they made sure I’d be able to get going today without having to make any extra stops or added stress. I really appreciate the work ethic and excellent customer service!! We will for sure be back with any car needs in the future.
Ronald came out and helped replace my car battery. He also let me know about future service I may need based on what he saw while replacing, which was such a big help and helped me discover why I’d been having other problems with my car! So helpful, kind, and knowledgeable - very highly recommend!

Very impressed with staff. One of the workers, Christian, was very personable and went above & beyond to help my friend and me 《both car-illiterate females》 get the best price possible. Even volunteering to assist us with a small repair without having to ask. Best service I've had at an auto parts store in quite some time..2 thumbs up!
While traveling home from Alabama to michigan my brakes went out completely stranding me in the parking lot of advanced. Shelby Herald was a god send with her assistance, knowledge, and willingness to help. While her male Co worker was very curt, rude, and unwilling to assist us. Including denied us to use the tools we needed to get back on the road safely!!!!! Contrary to the big sign posted on the windows that say loaner tools available!!! So somebody in administration at advanced corporate needs to pay attention to both of these workers for exact opposiite reasons!!
So I came in yesterday and the gentleman I dealt with was very friendly I was helping my friend who is Russian and don't understand most English. So we ordered two parts and they were to be there today and we went today 3 hours after we were promised when the parts would be there and all he got told was no the parts aren't here. Very unprofessional and very non customer service of them so since we had already ran up a 45 dollar taxi bill we went to O'Reilly in Covington and they not only beat the price but had both items in stock never again will I shop here for anything in my life
Very helpful counter people. Best of all when you buy something there they install it for nothing.If that doesn't sound like a big deal ,when was the last time you tried to install new windshield wipers? Or a battery?
I'm ordered parts from website to pick up in store. ( Rear brakes) the person who they were ordered for couldn't get to store , and 2 weeks after paid order ,I drove the 45 miles to be told they have been kicked out of system . And no more in stock. ..no documentation, no concern or CS help from either employee, other than to tell me that can't track anything taken out of system. I attempted to purchase parts I ordered in person, told only 20$ higher parts available. ..while I can't verify any thing right now, I haven't found an email, or phone call to document them restocking parts. But will be following up with my bank and upper management. Since I ordered from website. ..thanks for nothing Advance.
My fiance loves it here. They are always going out of their way to help him and the staff has some veterans workers there too... It makes him feel at home when he sees his fellow buddies
Employees are very helpful. Came in with dead alternator and battery. Nikki helped me jump the car, tested the alternator, got me the necessary tools and even helped change it. Great group of employees there.
I went there for a car battery today and the employee was extremely pleasant and helpful! He was extremely honest on pricing. He asked if I wanted an extra year on the warranty for $10 more with a different battery rather than just up-selling the more expensive model. My car battery was extremely corroded and, for a place with free installation, I think this would be frustrating because of the extra work to install. He was helpful and did not care one bit about the corrosion. He even sprayed on a corrosion deterrent after installing so that it would not happen again! Within 20 minutes I was out of the door. Would definitely recommend!
