Please accept my humble THANKS… I wanted to thank the Manager Chris Geiger and all of his crew, for their hard work today at Firestone in Newport, Kentucky. I had My tires replaced and an oil change on my 2000 GMC Truck. Like always, they done an awesome job, and got me in and out quicker than I expected. I went in because my rear tire sensor was not working. When I came in he said we could get it done today, and he did! There store was packed when I first brought it in. He emailed over a report so that let me know the details of things I might need to check into in the future. Would recommend going here for your local needs.
We were traveling, far from home, and got a flat tire. Chris and his crew took care of us and got us back on the road quickly, preventing a family trip from being ruined!
I would stay away from this place at all costs. They took 4 hours just to do a brake inspection for me because they clearly forgot I dropped my car off at 2pm so I came back two hours later to it sitting in the lot untouched.
Not only did they take forever to look at it they also tried to charge me $1K and messed up the wiring for my parking break so it's stuck in service mode. Brakes 4 less couldn't get it out of service mode so now I have to take it to the dealer but brakes 4 less only charged me $700 for the same work. Firestone is trying to say they didn't touch the wiring but I had issues with my parking brake the second I left their lot and it got stuck. They clearly just aren't admitting it's their fault.
DO NOT go here if you want good work or good customer service because they don't have it here.
Super nice employees!! I’m not from the area and woke up with a flat right for before I needed to leave for my 4 hour drive. Chris got us in right away. Amazing experience!!
On Wednesday night my car started hesitating, I called to see if I could bring the car in Thursday as we were going out of town on Friday. Chris said he had no appointments available but if I brought it in at 11:00 he would try to work it in. I brought it in and they were able to work it in and were able to fix the problem (bad coil and 4 new spark plugs). I went on my trip with no issues
Surprisingly they were efficient and did a great job when it came to the work they've done on my vehicle. Also Jon at the front service desk was very friendly and funny.
I woke up to a flat tire. Jonathan, was able to work me in to the schedule. I was able to drop off the flat tire to be checked out, and go on to my afternoon appointments. Then was able to come back and have my tire replaced. Thanks
Showed up for my 9 o’clock appointment and said too busy to be seen. Rescheduled for 1 and it went smoothly. Quoted $89 oils change and went to pay and not the right price $25 more !
I was pleased with the work performed on my vehicle. This location is within walking distance from where I live, which made the experience even more convenient. I truly appreciate the military discount.
The staff provided me with a detailed list of items that need attention, which I found extremely helpful. I can make most of the repairs on my own, and their recommendations allow me to plan ahead by purchasing the necessary parts and tools. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the service, professionalism, and courtesy shown at this Firestone location.
I was expecting some cliche nightmare but instead got completely transparent pricing and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I'll be back for my next sets of tires because of how perfect my experience was
My son was working in the Cincinnati area and his check engine light came on. John was able to look at it without an appointment and assured him it was safe to drive back to Louisville. I appreciate his fast service and helping my son while he was out of town.

I had an appointment for 5 but ended up getting off work at 3. Not a problem for Firestone! They told me to come over and got me right in. I was out of there before my original appointment time! Jonathan was incredibly helpful and polite. Very professional. I’ll definitely be back.
We got a flat tire while on vacation in a place we’ve never been to the evening before we were supposed to drive back home. Talk about panic and stress. Called Firestone just before they closed to see if they could get us in the next day and they told us to bring the car in early and they’d do whatever they could to help us get back in shape for our 3 hour drive. When we came in this morning, the car was taken in promptly, the guys at the shop were so kind and gave us some great information about the current state of the other tires, and I was so relieved at how easy everything was. The price was excellent, and I feel so much safer driving home on the highway with our new tire. Thank you so much to the team at this location! You’re lifesavers!
This was a great experience. I had a nail in my tire. Chris was super nice and got me in and out very quickly even though they were busy. Highly recommend Firestone in Newport!
Every experience at this shop is amazing! They are honest, friendly, and helpful. There is a good reason that generations of families in Northern Kentucky continue to get their cars worked on here!
This most recent visit was because my son had a front tire that was flat that couldn't be patched. We had the car towed there on a super busy weekend (the store was ironically having a tire sale). We cautioned my son that he would probably need at least two tires, if not four new ones. They graciously fit him in during the day and had his car back to him that evening, having replaced only the one tire. They could easily have sold us 2 - 4 tires, but they didn't. They are truly good people who are also good at what they do!
Wow! These guys are great! I stopped by after work to check tire pressure after I tried, but over inflated tires. With dashboard sensor returning again, I came back and they checked and topped off low tire again AT NO CHARGE. I was able to get an appointment less than 48 hrs. They repaired and had me rolling in no time! Thanks!!
John and all staff are incredible! They were able to replace my flat tire and the technician made it a point to stay late to finish the job! They went above and beyond to give it a complimentary car wash. And stayed open late for me to come pick up my car. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Definitely a repeat customer in the future and thank you guys for an awesome job. :)
I agree with all the positive reviews here: great service, quick turnaround, and at a fair price.
I always change my own oil, but I needed help removing a stuck oil filter. Chris told me to drive right over without an appointment, removed it in less than 5 minutes, and installed my new filter free of charge.
I would recommend this place to anyone, and I will be back in the future.
Dropped my car off at 9:00 a.m. and I was quoted 2-3 hours for new tires to be mounted, balance and aligned. It took them over 7 hours, while calling me in to tell me they were struggling with the tie rod on the driver side. I told him I would go to my mechanic and come back for that tire to be aligned better. He replied that the alignment has a 1-year warranty and it won't be an issue. When driving home the steering wheel and car now completely pulls to the left, significantly worse the before. I will not be returning to this specific Firestone.
Update :
I went to my trusted mechanic and I had my driver side, inner and outer tie rod replaced. I went to another Firestone location in Kenwood and I was told that the warranty is a service warranty and not a warranty to get the job finished. I had to get the original store to call this location to honor the "warranty" they gave me. The employee here advise the original Firestone to not charge a customer for alignment if they didn't complete it. His response is he completed most of the work.
Do not go to this shitty Firestone location that does a half ass job and charge you full price for it and do not understand they warrant policies. Go to the Kenwood location, if you stick with Firestone.
