Another explosion on 12/8/23 at 7:45am…. when are you going to start working responsibly!

I went to RCM this morning with some scrap out of my yard and basement that I have been holding on to just in case..lol.. I was treated very well. The employees were super friendly and very professional. I couldn' t have asked for a better employees in my own line of work. Outstanding customer service. It made the entire experience, which I was dreading, actually enjoyable. Fantastic job!

If going in a semi with dry van trailer13'6" take 275 to ky 9 north and go up it there is a train trustle that is marked 13'4" u can go under it and turn right into this place versus having to wind thru newport not impressed at all with there services got there to load weighed in very tight place to many Indians not enough chiefs had to do 3 laps around this place as each person told me to go up to the next one it just went on and on then they had to move cranes then they had to clean road then this truck needed out and this one needed in 2 hrs before getting into the dock now after getting in dock loader lady was very nice ask how u would like it loaded if any specific way so on and so on got loaded pull out gotta do another lap to weigh out hopefully never reload out of here again😡

Today was my first visit and it could not have gone any better. It was so easy!!! The staff was incredibly kind and explained every perfect to me. I can't wait to go back and cash in again.

I pass this scrap yard every single day & I HATE IT! They don’t have a crew to observe the road enough throughout the day so you’re lucky if you drive by this scrap yard without getting a flat tire. This is my 3rd flat tire this month due to metal constantly falling off their trucks when pulling into their yard. They should have someone out there at all times making sure that trash from ANY trucks coming into their yard isn’t going to affect other drivers passing by. I called to let them know & they said “it could have came from anywhere” but that’s not the case because things are constantly falling off trucks right in front of their yard & they aren’t doing enough about it & that’s exactly where I get a flat tire every time. DO BETTER! 👎

Is pretty cool the way they made everything go so smooth even though that they were backed up I had never seen that many vehicles with vehicles on them waiting in line that was around about two city blocks long and then the ones that were just dropping off scrap they were backed up so bad that they were weighing you in and then having you back up and wait until they could get room to put you back there in and then when you would way out instead of getting to drive all the way through you just pulled up on the scale and then backed out because it was so full other than that it was really cool to watch the machines work and the guys that work the grounds kept the traffic down and people safeq

Ive only traded with River Metals twice. Both times everything went very smooth. My buyer,(Garrett) dispatch & the drivers are all very professional & actually tell you the truth about ETA of roll off containers. In less than 48 hours I had 3 roll off's & a high side all spotted & pulled from a time critical project. My only complaint was most of the metal room folks didn't seem to care about being productive. Took over 2 hours to unload 3 pallets coils & 2 containers of copper. The female ( I cant remember her name) was the only one that took pride in her job.

They weigh your auto without the driver as you go in. After you are done and leaving you pull back up on the scale but you stay in your auto. They deduct your weight at first then add it at the end. We pulled up weight was 4520 (actual weight) I got out it was 4340 (without me). We unloaded came back and the weight was 4100 (with me). They paid us for 240lbs $9 should have gotten paid for 420lbs.

This company Right here showed much Love for Their employee that passed away showed up to his lay out with respect For Terry Holt not to many companies do that these days .I want to Express to you how much Terry loved his job there and he loved you all too . The place is a joke havent been here in years. I only came this time because everywhere was closed. I will never return. People arguing on scales with the man in the scales house. So we get redirected to load to another scale. Then you have 20 other people yelling at you to go one way then other says another way. I hauled the same amount of weight to walton recycling and I got a 100 dollars I cam here to river side with tickets from both places and I got 15 dollars pure rip off.

This place doesn't deserve a peace of a star . We went there this morning because we live right there in covington so we get there and the lady well gaint lady that works in the garage where you take aluminum ignored my husband several different times when he asked asked if he can place the aluminum on the scale since it said 0 she never answered him then when she did help us She said she couldn't take our clean aluminum because of one screw being attached so we took our stuff back and went to garden street where they did there job the right way and didn't have a cow over one single screw . We will never give this place a shred of metal or can . They are very unprofessional and rude as hell . When I finally said something about her not answering him which was a yes or no answer she said she was taking our tag number . Any other scrap yard we have been through respects and answers questions the first time and treats their guests like they want to be treated . As for this scrap yard never again will we give them anything.

I work for this company some times they are great to work with they have alot going on

People are friendly but are very slow loading if you are in a van trailer.

I bring scrap into here two or three times every week. The staff are friendly and recycling metal is a great way to make extra money and help the planet at the same time

Very polite helpful people working in the non-ferrous metal side nothing to complain about on my first experience there

They're awesome when I need to get rid of scrap metal for cash when I need some money for gas in my car or something else!!!!
