Not sure who I talked to but I was going to come up there and buy a car but there was only one picture of the front and there was rear end damage. So I asked if he could get me a picture of the rear end real quick and he was too lazy to walk outside and grab a picture… Not sure who I talked to but maybe you should try working at mcdonalds little buddy.
I bought a used car from them 2 years ago for 6K, it was a rebuilt title. I travel often for work so I wanted something older but dependable. It was a 2016 Taurus with 77k on it, I’ve got 132K on it now and all I’ve just had to put brakes and tires on it. I will say the car had cosmetic damage as the trunk lid was caved in,but I stopped at a pull a part in Alabama and found a good one with the same paint that works perfectly. This is just my experience with S&S.
Employees were patient, kind, explained every detail to me during purchasing process. Also took the time to understand what I was able to afford financially and help me to decide the best vehicle for me. Thank you so much for the employee's commitment and attention to my needs.
This place treats customers very badly. They don't like it when you ask questions about the condition of the engines, and they don't like to negotiate. They get angry and throw you out. They are very unpleasant. I don't recommend going to this place to buy any engine or transmission.
This place is amazing. I worked with them with my old job, they were a commercial customer of mine. I left that job to go into a new career adventure.. the time came to purchase a vehicle. Went on a Saturday about an hour before they closed.. picked out my vehicle.. paperwork done & purchasing fees were done in about 10 minutes. They are amazing. They also do giveaways for the community of Shepherdsville. Great, honest people.. they are all about family and helping people. They do not offer financing.. cars between $1000-8000 and prices are firm. Some of the vehicles, have some cosmetic damage. BUT, you won’t regret your purchase I can promise you that! I still love my vehicle and she’s perfect. Definitely would buy from again!
So I changed my review from 3 stars to 4 because I realized u all were legit when my daughter in law won a car from u all thx so much for not being fake and now hopefully I'll win a car too and if not then I still give u guys props for helping others out the way u do

This place is awesome!! I highly recommend. If you want a car that is easy on the wallet and will get you from point A to point B then this is the place. Be aware that they are used cars. So check them out good and even have your mechanic look it over if you want. They wanna see you happy. They are used though so understand that going in. AS IS. Paid cash for a car. Had the car for 3 months. Title is in my name, they brought the police, brought the police and stated it was stolen. The police states my paperwork is irrelevant. I am a single mom on a fixed income, with a disabled child, I need a car . Now I have been screwed by this company. Beware.

Bought a car from them for $6000 hoping it would last me a while I had it for 5 months and only put 5000 miles on it. The car suddenly wouldn't shift past 3rd gear took it to a few shops and they all told me it needs a new transmission put in. Which of course is going to cost me another $6,000 ? Tried to
reach out by texting there number on the website no response…
I found them on a couple apps and on Facebook as well. I called them at 9am and was very transparent about how much I had and what I was looking for. I got there by 11am, they let me roam around the lot until I found a car I liked, I test drove it and was off the lot by noon! It was the easiest process, they even took care of my registration paperwork. I’m so glad I went outside the city limits to get the best deal, thank you S&S!
Had a great experience with these guys! Very straight forward and allowed me the time to look over the 2011 MKS I purchased 3 weeks ago and the car has been exactly as they expressed and I am so happy with it.
After spending well over an hour searching and driving multiple selections with minimal assistance and being told to squeeze their vehicles back into very small hazardous spots. (I was afraid of damaging their property with only inches space between each vehicle.) The young man in the office acting like we was irritating him for just being there and didn't want to sell a car. Terrible service. Lost a sale here. But with the young man's attitude that doesn't matter.
Every single vehicle had body damage and bad tires. EVERY SINGLE ONE. None of them are worth close to what they ask for them. After the 1st three cars I looked at had significant engine and frame problems, all for over 2500$ or more , I would not recommend this place to anyone. All are salvage titles as well.
My wife Cheryl bouht a 2005 Chevy Blazer 207,000 MI we've already put 2,500 mi on it with no issues at all able to carry our whole family out of the state twice. My wife two kids and the family dog I have to admit it's been a great car and we will go there again to purchase another vehicle we've heard from numerous people that they are honest and have great cars. I have to admit I was worried quite a bit because of the year and the miles on the vehicle but after going out of state twice and it's still running strong no check engine light no leaks. S&S towing is the business if you need a cheap reliable vehicle be down or get clowned. I love you Cheryl you did good really awesome babe.
A few yrs back my daughter purchased the smaller version of a Mercury Mountainer. They are the size of a Escape anyway it was her 1st car ,she graduated in 2020 had been working since she was 16. She had 2000 to buy a car out right and she was terrified that 2000 wasn't enough for anything 'cute' or even worth driving. Let tell you she absolutely loved this lil suv for her 1st car. I even tried to give her my 2009 Mustang but she was so happy with her lil suv. One morning on her way to work at Rue Guilte her and her sister rode together that morning she hydroplained and flipped. Suffering NO INJURIES. if that vehicle was wrecked and glued back together like some of you say the you have bought are or breaks worked 2 days ,these cars are junk. I have have proof of my daughters experience with them money well spent that lil suv checked out top notch in my book. Thank you for being so honest with us and giving us the pleasure of having nothing but good things to say overall about your service and vehicles.
I purchased a vehicle at S&S in April of 2023. A 2010 Mazda 3 with 109K miles on it. They were up front about damage and title and work done. I have been driving it for one year without any problems. If you need a solid ride without the sky high monthly payments, I fully recommend.

Being my first time buying a car I was/am a little inexperienced, which is not on them. I bought a 2012 ford focus and did not realize how bad of a negative camber was on the rear tire.
Once I did, I called them back two days after purchase to see if they’d be willing to allow me to trade it in (even for a car of lower value).
They do buy cars/take trade ins, as that is how my mother acquired her most recent vehicle.
With that being said, they refused me stating that they are not taking in any vehicles right now, even if it’s a trade of a vehicle I literally just drove off their lot.
Overall incredibly disappointed in this business & my first car buying experience.

I bought a 2004 Impala from here for $2,500. It ran great on the test drive. I drove it for 2 days, and the breaks went out.
After I fixed the breaks, a radiator hose blew. That's when I discovered all the brown clay in the coolent system. I had to flush it. Then the heater fan stopped working, and then the transmission fluid dumped out (all of it).
After 3 tows, 4 missed days of work, uber rides, parts, mechanic costs, and the initial price of the car, I paid about $8,000 in total.
Now, the transmission is shot. $5,600 to fix it.
I only had the car for 3 months and only drove it for 18 days in total.
If you like to gamble, S&S Towing and Auto Sales is for you.

I have appreciated the service and time i have spent with this company looking for the right car. I chose them because they are blunt and the sale is not there focus it more like the customer is there focus and service to the customer comes first. But i’d like to Thank Mr. Allen because he is consistent, attentive and knowledgeable.He's a honest hassle free kinda guy who doesn’t pressure you and really provides a honest service. Bought a used car for my daughter from here. It only lasted 3 days before it started having issues. I have been to them a couple times to try and get some help. I had one of them being condescending and hostile to me because I had an attitude over them selling me a lemon. Worst experience. One of the guys I work with tried renting a car from them. Lasted even shorter. One hour until it broke down.
***update: didn’t last 6 months before I had to choose put $3,500 in it and more soon after or buy a different car
This is a great place to buy cheap used cars. If you just want something basic or for your teenager this is hands down the best place to buy. The owner is honest and to the point. He also has went the extra mile a few times to look at an issue I had with a car a few months after I bought it. It was a simple fix and his advice made it easier!

They sell auctioned off cars. So no warranties are offered but other than minor physical damage the few I looked at seemed to be in good shape.
No stress or pressure while my wife and I was able to look, run, and and test drove without any harassment from used car salesperson. The whole staff was polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. They even offered to allow me to get any vehicle I was interested in checked out by my mechanic before I purchased.
The owner Allen very friendly and made my decision to buy that same day an easy one.
Hopefully in a few weeks will be returning to buy another one.
These guys were amazing. We called them as a last resort due to not knowing who they were. All the other companies were "too busy" to help us. Not S & S was out within 10 minutes of our call. It took 15 minutes to change not 1 but 2 tires out for us on a camper. They were professional and you can't beat the price. Thank you S & S for everything you have done. You guys were the best.
