Do not go here. A family member of mine has been getting work done here for the last few months and every time she would leave, a new problem would arise. Well, this last time she got her vehicle back and as she’s driving home, there’s a loud screeching noise coming from the drivers side tire constantly and when she brakes it gets louder, sounds kind of like the brakes are rubbing against the rotors (mind you before she brought it to them there was no noise at all!!) They have ripped her off for hundreds of dollars, close to a thousand now, and sadly, there’s more problems with the car than there were before she went there. I understand cars are difficult to diagnose sometimes, but the parts they’ve been “replacing” are all in the braking system of her car; those parts are all very straight forward and can be easily diagnosed by a rookie mechanic. In this day and age, money does go as far as it once did, people can’t afford to go somewhere they can’t trust that doesn’t do their job correctly. Really a shame.
Absolutely horrible experience. Had plugs changed and the "mechanic" had no idea what she was doing. When the car was finished, it had a horrible miss in it that wasn't there when it was dropped off.the mechanic had no idea what happened or how to fix it. Broke my dipstick and tried to charge me for it. When I complained about the miss. Tried to charge me again. I finally had to take the car somewhere else
Had my oil changed there, they were too busy so I went somewhere else. The place I went told me my drain plug was stripped out and had loctite on it! And heltons never told me! Now I get to replace my oil pan! I'll not go there again!
This is a very busy place so that means they do great work. But because they are busy it's hard to get major work done quickly, but they will help you with oil changes, tires, etc as much as possible as soon as they can.
Quick, friendly. Great folks! Check them out. We were passing through from Tennessee to Minnesota. They wished us well and had us back on the road in under 30 mins.
The Helton family was very helpful. They diagnosed my problem right away and called for the needed part. Although the part wasn't available, Glenn Helton made a quick, temporary repair that allowed me to get home and make the necessary repair. Helton Quick Lube is excellent.
If u need a stereo wired up the right way without having to pay a arm and leg then this is the place and they do a lot of other things besides wiring!!
