Drove 3.5hrs to buy a Jeep that I was told was mechanically sound. Arrived to find the radiator leaking, transmission leaking, and the 4x4 system broken. Not trustworthy.

I guess they work when they want to....never open, not too many vehicles to pick from

Entirely rude. Walked in the door to pick up a document they should have given us when we picked up the title. They should have said “sorry for the inconvenience”. They don’t seem to care about giving top notch customer service. Won’t ever go back to this place again.

well what i find amazing is that i can write a review having never been to this place. i know from being a business owner that companies contavt me to control my reviews, so what's the actual value of the review, well i don't like their price- but i never took time to see the car. the car broke down 4 mos after buying it- well they warranty brand new ones so failure of a man made item is probable.i drove from 3 hrs away, the car had a rear end noise, they said buy or pass- yeah because ypu claimed to be a dealer wanting to buy wholesale for 200 over our cost then expected a repair- reviews can be bought and sold, companies post bogus reviews to get the biz owners to purchase their clean up reviews service- it's a scam, a joke, a lie. reviewsthat are from actual people who purchased, i would at least believe those to be somewhat real

This is an updated review: original was 4 stars as dealing with the father for the purchase was good. The son however provided 1 star service with the paperwork/titling/follow up issues. The son is lazy, doesn’t communicate and isn’t friendly or helpful at all. It took over a month to get a part they said was already ordered and would be in the next week (a rear wiper arm). It took him over a month to complete the paperwork stating “bad weather” kept him from driving to Topeka. Weak. They knew I was a MO resident so the son dragging his feet cost me a late fee for my registration (couldn’t register without title or get safety inspection without wiper arm). I had written the cars were in good shape and generally good deals. However, less than 4 months in and I had to replace the engine in the car I bought ...

DISHONEST!!! HE SAID NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH TRUCK!!! Dishonest!!! Said everything worked on a truck I bought. Multiple items need replacing or repaired. Hundreds of dollars...🤬😡😠 He fixed the lockers on my truck that was expensive, even though I paid for the split bearing in the rear end, part of that repair. Since the locker repair was expensive he refused to get the door switches he said he would. He said he checked all the fluids before I left. When I got home and checked them, the brake fluid, power steering fluid, and antifreeze was low. I have replaced the door switches Replaced the left front wheel Speed sensor It needs: Rear wheel speed sensor Brakes Blower motor actuator Winch motor repaired Power steering pump 2 Drivers seat motors replaced So much for everything works!!!

We purchased a 2009 Pontiac after a pre-purchase inspection repairs were made by Heartland Auto. Soon after, additional repairs were needed & the dealer honored his agreement to pay 50% of his preset limit on the repairs. We are pleased with the service and son is happy with his purchase.

My husband searched for months to find the best most affordable truck to meet our family's needs. We had lots of criteria, but most importantly a big back seat to strap carseats into and a reliable truck for our growing family. He found a 2006 GMC truck at this dealership he really liked, so he bought it. Not able to budge the price much, he was excited to make the purchase. Heartland gave him a 1 month warrantee. My husband went back a couple weeks later with a list of things he would like to get fixed before warrantee is up. The owner and his son only committed to fixing 1 of the things, saying that we can have our cousin (who is a car mechanic) fix the rest, despite the warrantee he promised. We then put an additional $230 into the truck just that next week, with still a list left. My husband's truck now has failed to start 3 times, and broke down on side of road once in last than 2 months of owning the car. We know this was a used vehicle but it's not even meeting our families needs. Point blank, Heartland Auto Plaza sold him a faulty car and refused to fix things we found within the month warrantee time frame. We're thankful I'm on maternity leave to be able to assist with my car during these times, but I go back to full-time work in a couple weeks and will be unable. Heartland provided unnecessary stress for our family and has no remorse for selling us this known faulty truck.

Bought vehicle in cash from this place with less than 90k miles. Salesman stood me up once on a viewing appointment with no call. Checked the car out and found two oil leaks. Said I wasn't interested because of them, then he agreed to contract in the repair. Sent it to his mechanic, got it back and it leaked worse than when it went in. He agreed it was outrageous but then didn't show up at his office on Monday morning to meet me at the agreed upon time leaving me stranded there. Had to uber a ride home. Got the car back A WEEK LATER, and it is still leaking. From the same area. Didn't have time to send it back a third time as I travel until after the warranty period. Took it to a real mechanic instead of his backwoods pretend mechanic and found out it needs both intake gaskets and an oil sending unit replaced, possible the rear main as well. I'll be reporting him to the better business bureau and looking into my rights in court (2300 in possible repairs needed). DON'T BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!
