We were stranded on the side of I70 between Colby and Goodland with a dead Suburban and travel trailer. Colt answered our emergency call and showed up in a quick 30 minutes. He was then able to load the Suburban onto the rollback and tow the trailer to the KOA in Goodland. He was super kind to us on an Saturday afternoon. Super professional.
If you need help anywhere in the area call S&M they are the best by far. We were traveling from Madison WI to Colorado Springs. Coming out of Norton Kansas the drive shaft on my motorhome started clicking loud so I pulled into a wayside at 3pm. A bolt from the driveshaft guide fell out. Googled towing in Norton and got what sounded like a local RV towing company. It wasn’t it was a national call center. They jerked me around for 3 hours on a Saturday afternoon then told me they couldn’t get there until tomorrow. Googled towing in Oakley Kansas and found S&M called and they said they would be there in 90 minutes. Harley arrived in 90 minutes. I asked him to tow me to Chases on site repairs Colby Kansas open 24 hours (nothing but 5 star reviews). Chase didn’t respond to my first message so I called him from the tow truck and left a message I was going to drop my motorhome off. Called me back right away this time and informed me that he couldn’t help me until Monday. Harley then said I can fix at our shop in the morning. He called at 9:30am Sunday morning and said it’s done. Oh and Harley texted me Sunday night to see if we made it to Colorado Springs. I worked 30 years in a business where customer service was everything and it’s very rare to find it these days. I would give them 10 stars if I could.
Broke down traveling from Colorado. S&M was the only tow company to answer their phone. They were also the only ones to be polite and professional. Within 30 minutes they were there hooking us up and getting us towed!
Never actually sent my car to this guy's shop but he is so good, After his day was done he took time to come and diagnose my car. 100% a great guy. Literally he came to help me off the clock and can not recommend more. 6 star
We where stranded on interstate 70 the driver was fast to respond towed our car took us to motel and made sure we were set up before he left us thank you for the great service
Stuck on the side of the with no other options so the guy quotes me $400 for a 5 minute drive from him bc it’s a holiday. All I needed was a better wheel jack to change the tire! I have the tire off the trailer!!!!

They helped me out one day at the end of October, I slid off the highway and totaled my enclosed trailer, and damaged my Ram dually! I can't say enough about these guys!
Driving from Wichita to CO Springs. Wound up blowing a tire on a Sunday. Called these folks, they were there within 15 minutes, dropped my car off at the Ford dealer and took us to the hotel. Let us know about a local company that does rental cars if needed, have us suggestions for dinner, and offered to drive us to a restaurant if needed. God forbid anyone has car trouble, but if you do, I highly recommend this company.
Had tire issues on the interstate and Cole from S&M towing got us all taken care of! The service was quick, efficient, reasonably priced, and our driver was awesome ! So happy we decided to call a local towing company rather than wait hours and hours for AAA. Thanks Cole !!
Shout out to Cole from Colby! My truck broke down just outside Colby in freezing rain. I’m traveling alone pulling a camper with my dogs. Cole was quick to get there, and super friendly. He even helped me walk my dogs and get safely to a hotel for the night. 10/10 recommend!
While driving through my car began making scary noises, I called and they were incredibly helpful and professional. I felt like they had my best interest, I would highly recommend this place.
My wife was headed back from Denver to Kansas City and with our three little ones when her car broke down right outside of Colby Kansas. As a husband and father I was pretty anxious to getting them somewhere safe as this was in the middle of August and nearly in the middle of nowhere. I called S&M repair and towing and they were there within 15 minutes no questions asked. I have experience with tow companies before and this one sets them apart. They made my kids feel safe and sound on the way to the auto shop in town. On top of that after dropping off our car he took them to the hotel down the street. Highly recommend these guys for a quick turnaround.

If you're ever stranded on I-70 between Ellis, KS and Burlington, CO call S&M Towing! Harley is amazing and will have one of his guys out ASAP to help you! Wonderful customer service at ALL hours! We hit a coyote traveling to Colorado 3 weeks ago at 11:30 pm on a Friday night in the middle of nowhere. With a leaking radiator and front bumper pretty much demolished, we could not continue. We had a heck of a time getting a tow to a repair shop. Luckily we finally found a 24-hour tow (AAA couldn't find one) that was 80 miles away that could come to our rescue - S&M Towing! Harley answered the phone at 2 am and said he could have one of his guys ready to head out to get us within 30 minutes! Amazing news after what we'd been dealing with with AAA. 20 minutes later we got a call that our knight in shining tow-truck armor was on his way! At 3:30 am our knight and his majestic tow-truck appeared and got us to our half-way destination, our van in tow. 3 weeks later I was able to pick up my van which ran and looked like new! (Auto Ins took a long time to get someone out for the estimate. Harley had the repairs done in a week!) We can not thank you enough, Harley, and your crew! You came to our aid when we needed it.
Amazing place! My husband and I were driving across country on our honeymoon and had some car trouble. They didn’t have the parts needed to fix it but they ordered them and since we couldn’t just wait in Colby, KS for another day, a woman who worked for them actually drove us to the rental care agency in town and we were able to rent a car and continue on our trip! When we came back a few days later, our car was good to go. Thank you for helping us!
Super impressed with their customer service! We had a flat tire and the tire was stubborn and stuck. I called them and they were there within 5 minutes and even referred us to an outstanding tire shop! THANK YOU!
The service truck did arrive, and the tech was helpful, but the manager was incredibly unprofessional and down right rude. He was verbally abusive to a woman experiencing a health crisis and called highway patrol on her. Hung up on me twice while I was trying to give him payment information. This is not the way to represent a brand or run a service company. If I could give negative stars, I would.
Harley did a great job at midnight on a Friday night coordinating Jordon to come out and cut a lock off of our moving truck. He even went above and beyond by picking up a replacement lock at walmart! I can't say enough about the outstanding response time and customer service. Thanks again for getting us out of a jam!
OUTSTANDING! While on a road trip across country, I noticed that a bolt was rubbing on my cv axle. I arrived at the shop with little notice and Jordan was able to fix it quickly and charged me next to nothing! Definitely saved the day. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I had an error light show up as I was on a cross country road trip and stopped in to have it checked out. Jordan and his team not only diagnosed my problem quickly but taught me how to fix it myself should the situation arise again. Everyone was extremely friendly and I could not be any happier with my experience. I highly recommend their service!
If u won't too haft to pay another Macanic to fix everything twice then this is the shitthole too go too . I should have know they screwd everything up when the guy drive my truck out of there bullpinn it had a flat that was the first then thay did not put all the fluids back in the rear end that they were paid too fix . Probley just scared me because I'm not from the aeria . Don't go here!
