He quoted me to tow my vehicle 6 blocks for $300 i offered to pay him what I had in cash and the rest later, but he said hugh would rather take it back to the lot and I couldn't tone to unload it, because he already had it up on the truck
My daughter's car broke down in Holton on a Sunday night while she was driving back to Omaha, NE. Not being from the area, she contacted Roush to arrange a tow to the local auto repair shop there. They could not get to the car that evening but told her where to leave the car key and towed it the next day. We were pleasantly surprised it was only a $75 tow as not being local we expected it to be well over $100. Thanks for helping her out!
We didn’t have to be towed anywhere rather we required being pulled out of mud. 1st the driver was 45 minutes later than his estimated arrival time. My biggest complaint is when I called the following day, I asked for a receipt for insurance purposes which was denied by the driver stating I gave you a discount. The discount was 20$. I’m hoping he turned in the 120$ to the company. I wonder how the IRS feels about income not reported.
Called to see if they could help in a tricky oversized towing situation. They were gonna come take a look to see what they could do. I had a friend come instead so i called and canceled with them as to not waste their time. The gentleman stopped by anyways to get a first hand perspective of the situation. Even though he didnt think they could do the job themselves he still offered his help with advice as to how to get her done. I cancelled the call out for service and didnt hire them to do the job and his still assisted us in the situation. Now that's what you call customer service. Atta boy
You have to call to get service any time of the day then you have to wait until someone shows up at their own leisure and apparently they do not take credit cards you need to get cash out and if your bank isn't close it cost you even more
My son had borrowed my car. He got into some trouble and was arrested. I guess this is the tow service that the Sheriff calls to tow the vehicles when the driver gets arrested. It needed towed anyways as the brakes were bad. They towed it back to their lot and I was their to pick it up within 2 hours from the time it was towed. On the bill there was a $20.00 fee in the storage area, when I asked what it was for, I was told it was a fee to unlock the gate. Plus they charged me for an extra mile on the mileage, according to Google maps. I know that tow services aren't regulated as to what they can charge, but I find this a bit extreme $20 storage for 2 hours. If I ever need a tow again I will not be calling them nor would I recommend them to anyone else. All that $20 got them was a bad review.
Out of town , in the middle of no where I got stuck in the mud , the harder I tried the worse it got stuck, called for help and the driver came in a pretty timely manner and winched me out of the mud, even crawled around in the mud to hook up van, that's going the extra mile.
Expensive towing service! And they'll try to keep your vehicle in storage so you have to either pay the 35 dollars a day plus their high towing service fee or let your ride get strong armed from you.
The tow truck driver was friendly and respectful. However the services provided by the towing company were awful. We waited two hours for a tow which is way too long especially since we were 8.2 miles from where we needed towed and where this tow company is based out of. The driver also said we could not ride with him because of COVID. This wouldn’t be such a big deal if we hadn’t had to walk 8.2 miles to the shop working on our car. Also the driver took 0 COVID cautions. Did not wear a mask and approached 4+ without masks on less than 2 feet away. If you weren’t worried about COVID around the shop people you shouldn’t be around your paying customers. If you are in need of an emergency tow, I would look elsewhere.
I am changing my review due to the fact that the owner let us in, I am not happy with how his tow truck driver talked to me, but the owner was being nice about it, hopefully this can be worked out better and I hope nobody else has the same situation as I did.
Owners a d*** totally disrespected my mother cursing at her and I for making him late to something. We were there to pay the tow bill to get my 16 yr olds personal belongings from her truck while she was in the hospital while she was getting a blood transfusion and all she wanted was for me to get the Christmas gifts she bought her little sister.
