This location never open. It's only by appointment. I don't know why Google map says it's open. When I call and ask them they said just come over. Well whenever I got here it appears closed and only by appointment. Probably I just go to another place, I don't wanna waste my time. Looks like this place still under Covid 19 restrictions

AVOID!!!! If I could give a NEGATIVE 5 star I would. Absolutely terrible business. Took 3 weeks to even pull the part I needed for a customer, then told my customer it wasn't correct fitment when I was finally able to get an answer. Then charged my card $185.00. When I tried to cancel I was told there would be a 25% restocking fee for a part they pulled wrong and didn't call to discuss and let me and my customer decide to take the risk or not because they had so much labor in finding it. Told them to keep the part, I would take the hit on the restocking fee since it was a part I'll never sell anyway. After speaking to Brad, my customer said to go ahead and reassemble the bike. Received the part and invoice a week later. When I originally called he said $150.00 then charged me $175.00 for a part I no longer needed due to amount of time we waited and him telling my customer the fitment wasn't the same. Now I have a $185.00 part on my shelf that I'll never get rid of because of their ineptitude. The reply is a complete crock of .....! I GAVE the correct info. Not my fault you wrote it down wrong and you even told my customer it was wrong before sending it. As far as sending it back, I would have, had the option been given. It should have never been sent to begin with.

-1000 stars *****WARNING***** DO NOT SHOP HERE****** Initial Purchase and Delivery: On November 10, 2023, we put down a payment of $1,000 for a 4-wheeler and a Go-Kart. we paid off the total bill of $3699.34 and scheduled delivery for However, we were informed that the Go-Kart we purchased was accidentally sold, and we had to pay an additional $300 for a larger one (HE SAID THIS IS CHEAP FOR THIS LARGER ONE!) (I DO NOT CARE BECAUSE I DIDNT ASK FOR A LARGER ONE) to fulfill MY children’s only Christmas gift. Now total $3999.34. Issues After Delivery: On Christmas Eve (December 24, 2023), our children rode the vehicles around the block for 15 minutes or less. Unfortunately, both vehicles stopped working and would not start again. Additionally, there were oil leaks and parts hanging off due to incorrect assembly. Batteries would not stay charged. Attempts to Resolve: we contacted Oz Powersports, and they promised to pick up the vehicles within a week. The vehicles were eventually picked up after the store’s out-of-town sale. almost month later the owner’s son returned the vehicles, but they still had starting issues and parts taped up on the vehicles, because we wanted the girls to enjoy the gifts, we ignored the tape. My husband said he will assemble parts correctly. But still starting issues. Continued Problems: Our daughters rode the vehicles for about 20 minutes at the park, but they stopped working again. called a mechanic towed them home The mechanic checked the vehicles, took pictures and even checked the gas (which was fine) and discovered that both vehicles were completely dry on oil and wires weren't connected. The mechanic took vehicles back to the store himself to explain the issues and the owner refused to take them. Said to bring them back in a week. Lack of Communication: We took the vehicles back to the store but there was no communication from the store after that. When you contacted them on March 15, 2024, they claimed to be out of town and had not addressed your vehicles. Called the store to check on vehicles, the owner mistook me for someone who left a negative review and refused to help me. Between 04/10/2024 - 04/30/2024 no communication – we left 2 Voicemail messages and no response We visited the store on 05/01/2024 to collect our 4-wheeler but were told to return the next day. Upon returning on 05/02/2024, we were unexpectedly asked to pay over $300 due to alleged dirt in the gas, which was not present when we submitted them for repairs. Additionally, the Go-Kart repairs had not been started and he didnt know how much we will be charged. I declined to pay the additional service fee. The rides, purchased as Christmas gifts for my children, have been used for approximately 50 minutes in total. Since then, they have been stored either in our garage or at OZ Powersports, unused. The proprietor has denied both the return of the rides and any form of refund. Furthermore, the owner suggested that my children should stop playing in the dirt and cover the cost of the vehicles. Now Christmas is here again, my kids didn't get their Christmas gifts, instead we were robbed. NOW HERE IS MY REVIEW - YOU CAN BE MAD AT this one - BUT ITS THE TRUTH. SAME TRUTH, I TOLD YOU WHEN YOU CALLED THE POLICE on me. then you start lying again. YOU ALREADY STOLE 4000, WHO WOULDNT BE MAD AND ARGUE BACK WITH YOU. TIP: IN LIFE WE MAKE MISTAKES, THE PROPER THING TO DO IS TO TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY, APOLOGIZE AND FIX THE ISSUE. LEARN FROM AND ALWAYS TREAT PEOPLE RIGHT. shame on you and your family stealing people money and now children Christmas Gifts! MERRY CHRISTMAS 2023 - MY KIDS ONLY GIFTS WAS STOLEN ITS MAY STILL NO GIFTS ----WE ALL MUST CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR OUR COUNTRY.

This place SUCKS. Dropped my bike off to get a new engine and left it for months. Ended up coming to pick it up and they had it in pieces and hadn’t worked on it at all. DO NOT GO HERE.

Ordered an atv bag off their website and got an email 2 days later saying it was discontinued. Ok, so remove it from the website..... Called and spoke to a guy that said he would send me pictures of other options and prices. I told him that would be great. Never heard from him again. A woman emailed me and said that since the item I ordered was discontinued she would be happy to give me other options and prices. I told her that would be great. Never heard from her again. In these times I would prefer to buy from a small business but this place is a joke.........follow up.............you just responded 10 minutes ago to review I sent 2 years ago! And you are trying to claim you responded within 5 minutes.......hilarious! Proof is in the pudding princess.

When I arrived at the store's location, they were closed. The sign on the door says they are only open on Tuesdays, from noon to 6pm. Otherwise they refer you to their online store or to make an appointment. I understand the hours of many businesses have changed due to Covid, but it would be nice if their website indicated these unusual hours. I was frustrated since I made a special trip to their physical location for some used parts.

I ordered a gas tank from Brad Peterson at Oz power sports three months ago two months ago I paid $445 for it. I have not received the tank or got my money back from them. He keeps giving me excuses. But has not tried to resolve the issue. He has stopped answering my calls. I do not recommend anyone use this place he is just there to rip people off.
Nov 24, 2021 -
Update: Brad Peterson, when he finally answered the phone said he doesn’t give refunds, called my husband a liar and told me I didn’t know what I was talking about then hung up on me. Husband called back and he hung up on him. We’ve contacted the Better Business Bureau and the Kanas Attorney Generals Office and submitted a complaint, I recommend anyone who has been scammed by Brad Peterson to do so. If I could give zero stars I would. WAY overpriced, sent broken and unusable parts that they charged $475.00 for. When we complained they said send it back but we charge a 25% restocking fee, so for bad parts that can not be used we are out shipping and $118.75. Took the money on July 3rd, no email, no call, we had to inquire multiple times to find out where the part was, finally came on July 15th and the part is junk! Stay clear of this company, the bad reviews are honest reviews!!!

CoverMax XL # 10-7512 - Ordered on line, received ahead of schedule at the lowest price I could find anywhere. I was replacing an existing identical cover so I knew its limitations, ergo no complaints about fit, etc. My ride is an old beemer R100-GS with a really old Ural hack so it's not easy finding a 1-piece cover that fits both. This one works guys, so if you're looking for a cover for your rig this isn't a bad solution. If OZ still has them they're the place to go. I'm going to order another now as they don't last forever.

Terrible service and rude. I live in Ottawa and tried going to the shop to look for some parts for my bike and they wouldnt even let me in the store to look. They said they were focusing on tye KC location and online more than local. So much for small town local business being here for the community. If you only want to serve the KC area why even have a shop in Ottawa? I would like to add to the review by saying that i gave Brad one more chance for business. He stated that bad customers like me were the reason for his business being poor. I have tried to contact him several times to get parts. Each time se says he wont do business with people in ottawa because its a waste of his time and that I am the problem. For the record, the only time i went in looking for parts and didnt buy any were when he did not have the parts i was looking for. I have been asking him for years to stock or carry more Harley oriented parts local to Ottawa and now that he finally does, he does not cater that business to anyone in his local market. He was rude, wasted 30 min of my time insulting me and not offering any help. I hope nobody wastes their time dealing with this guy, according to him you are a bad customer if you want to buy parts for your motorcycle. Just fyi Brad, parts on the shelf is the only advantage a brick and mortar store has combined with good customer service and 9/10 times you had neither for me so honestly its not me who is the problem, its you and your piss poor business skills. I hope you fail miserably in the kc market and honestly bet you do, you dont have 1/10th of the service that the existing shops in kc do..

Brad is phenomenal and knows his motorcycles and knows exactly where the parts are within his massive yard. I drove aways to get to him and had a very good chat with him. I was looking for a rear subframe for my 07' Yamaha R6S. This is a motorcycle yard, period and end of story. If you go in there and they don't have what you want, find somewhere else to go complain about. All the guys that work here are freaking awesome. Thank you so much OZ, I'll be back very soon!

I was in a couple of weeks ago looking for the correct rear seat for my bike, they spent 2 hours looking for what I needed and unfortunately they didn't have it. But they were very professional the entire time, never rude and had a great conversation with the owner the whole time I waited. I will check with them first to see if they have what I need before I look at ebay. You can't get this quality of customer service through a computer.

I bought a 2002 Suzuki sv650 from Oz Powersports a little over a month ago. Everything seemed fine when i bought it. Rode it home and it surged a little but i assumed it was just the old gas. I noticed the high beams didn't work when i got home and also noticed the next day that all the light signals had stopped working. I contacted Oz and they said they needed to get my motorcycle inspected before they could give me the title. I've never bought from a dealer before so i thought whatever and asked them to fix the light issues and they said they would. Two weeks later i get the bike back: the signal lights went out agian (a short in the wiring i later found and fixed myself), and they hadn't fixed the high beams, merely wired the high beam switch to the regular headlights so it was just always on. I told them and they went on the defensive. I was done dealing with them at that point. Two weeks of riding later and my fuel system is clogged, which shouldn't be the case since they supposedly cleaned out the carburetors before selling it. I'm keeping the bike because i love it, but i'll never deal with Oz Powersports again. (Update: Just saw the owner's response. Wow, you're really going to make up stories to cover yourself and try to shift the blame to the customer? I never changed the turn signals, nor did I ever attempt to. I get that you would want to save face, but that's pretty low.)

Went in a couple days ago in search of a pre chamber for my 81 CM400. In the time we spent talking about some bike ideas and getting pointers (I'm a new rider), his employee went out, found the part, and pulled it. Totally was not expecting to get the part that day, much less in the same conversation. The following day I went to his new store in KC and got a helmet and jacket at a damn good price. Going back today to get some exhaust tubing. He was upfront about costs, extremely helpful with recommendations for gear, and gave me some great ideas for my bike. Great experiences overall and definitely will continue going back.

I bought a couple items from Brad after a friend told me to give him a call. I wish I had never done business with this place. Not only was the customer service absolutely horrible but I was given incorrect parts and then my card was charged more than what I was told. I ended up having to file a fraud case with my bank. I really wish I had read the reviews on here before doing business here. I will NEVER deal with this shop again!

The parts for motorcycles like ENGINE and heavy stuff that cost money are over price, and there is not enough time warranty. so basically I bought an engine it comes broken and there is no refund or apology, however, they charged me extra for the shipping and the receipt has different numbers than what I paid for like $500 extra. Brads main concern is to repeat himself and said largest motorcycle salvage in the midwest and does not show you what he will sell you, by shipping. Not satisfied with the customer service that I have had even though I paid extra $$.
May 18, 2019 -
Brad the owner is supper hard to deal with. The store is very unorganized. Brads main concern is to to talk fast to hear himself talk, and inform you that he is "the largest atv and motorcycle salvage in the mid west." I went in looking for a specific part said he had it, when I asked to see it that was to difficult of a task to show me what i wanted to buy, then proceeded to tell me multiple times that they had it in back... I said if i was going to purchase something i would like to see the item first. He told me they have them, "they will be considerably discounted prices," but stil never showed me what i was looking for. I became irritated and told him if he wanted to sell something then show it to me instead of being so concerned about hearing himself talk.. I then got told to leave the store and not return. I am a local resident to the ottawa area, I know of several other people this same sort of incident has happened to as well. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

Great place . The remarks about him talking fast are true but his personality totally doesn't reflect on his business. I personally enjoyed talking to him. The price for the jacket and other gear I bought was good. I've looked online and the closest I've gotten was about 50 to 75 dollars more. I have a vintage bike and finding parts are next to impossible to find or even at a decent price, so Oz is a great asset for guys like me. Will definitely be doing business there again.

Brad had my ATV for a month and never called with an update. I finally reached out to him and couldn’t and was unable to leave a voice message. I had to leave a message on their website. He finally called with an update. It took another week to finish. When I was able to pick it up he wasn’t there. I had to leave another website message because I was unable to leave a voice message. Brad stated he would meet me the next morning. Again, he missed and made an excuse why he didn’t meet his obligation. I finally made contact with him Friday morning. Words were exchanged because of the inflated bill, $400.00 to change a spark plug, air filter and bowl gasket...not to mention I wasted my time going back-and-forth from my hometown to pick it up, I felt like $400 was too high and he should have lowered it a bit. Again words were exchanged and he refused to lower it. I finally just agreed to pay for and get out of there. I explained I would go to the Better Business Bureau and leave a review on his website. He then said I had to pay in cash. And every day that I left there he was going to tack on a maintenance fee. I finally called the police which didn’t help. He’s a business and it’s a civil matter. I highly suggest NOT USING OZ POWERSPORTS.

I have always had great service from brad and his guys at the shop. They were always more than happy to do what they had to do to get me back on the bike so i could make my next race. Without their support i wouldnt be able make it to the track as much. awesome people! you can tell they have a passion for the the industry!

These people have no interest in helping someone out for a reasonable price. Wanted to get linkage for 96 seadoo carb. Wanted over $100 to pull used part for a $25 new part. Just wanted to go by and see if they had any broken ones I could make work so I wouldnt have to wait for online order. Got hung up on as it wasn't worth their time. A little consideration on trying to get my ski back in business shouldn't be too much to ask. It takes less than a minute to unclipped carb linkage and I don't mind doing it myself. I pull car parts all the time from salvage yards and work on my own jetskis so I know it's not that big of deal. So much for kids enjoying lake this weekend. Thanks for the help!

Dishonesty and greed prevails here. After a purchase while onsite, I thought the price for their parts was high so I called a dealer and priced new parts. The exact same parts new were half the price these people charged me. I went back inside and called this to their attention but was told if they had that information before the purchase they would have told me to get the new parts. No price adjustment or refund was offered. I was told that since the purchase was already made there was nothing they could. How do they stay in business. Next step BBB...

I never write online reviews, but if I can save one person from the pain and aggravation I went through, it will be worth it. These folks are just plain awful. More accurately, Brad is just plain awful. He is an accomplished and unabashed liar. The short story is they sent me a part which I couldn’t use due to its questionable condition, so I promptly sent it back along with a letter and pictures of what a good part looked like. Brad was none too pleased when we spoke, but he vowed to send me another part because they didn’t offer refunds. The next six weeks turned into a maddening combination of chasing Brad, being put on indefinite hold, being strung along, repeatedly being shooed off the phone and listening to his ever changing BS about tracking numbers and where my package supposedly was. I Finally threw in the towel and contacted the Fraud Department at my credit card company. I never even bothered to call Brad to ask for a refund because he didn’t deserve the courtesy of a call, and I had ZERO confidence he could or would have followed through even if I had. Only deal with Oz if they are your last resort, and avoid Brad at all cost.

Just bought a bike out of Mo. I needed a back tire before taking it to Ks inspection and of course, to make the bike road worthy. I called Oz, and they called me back -twice. They told me, if I could get in before closing, they'd handle it. Coming from Olathe, I got there - AT CLOSING - and they stayed late to install the tire. While that was being done, I asked about a passenger seat - they found one and installed that too! These guys went out of their way for me. Way out of their way. and the price was fair. I'm gonna take this bike on a 2k mile run. I am going to have them inspect the bike to ensure the trip is a success. Thank you guys for your good work and customer service - I will be a returning customer.

I absolutely loved this business. I had never heard of it before so I decided to take a ride down there on a nice day. I walked in and this place was packed wall to wall with product. I got great deals on the things that I bought and I can assure you that I will be back. The owner was very friendly and informative about rides around the area as well a other information for new riders. I high suggest coming to check out the store.

I went in and bought a set of forks for my 78 Yamaha. I paid for them took them home and they didn't fit the bike. I took them back, along with the original set off the bike to make sure they could get the right ones. Brad told me that I bought and paid for a set of forks that would fit my bike, so he would make sure I got a set of forks that fit. He told me they would find a set, but the might need rebuilt. I said ok, and told him that I would pay to have them rebuilt. After waiting all summer and calling many times he told me that I had to pay for the new forks. Same price as the other set. Now he is in possession of both my set that fits, the set that doesn't fit and the ones he supposedly pulled to rebuild, which after the way he does business I would be surprised if he actually did any thing at all. I would use caution when dealing with Brad. He may take your money and call you a rude customer because you would like to be treated like one.

GREAT SHOP. Some of the best customer service I have ever received at a bike shop, especially one this large. Mom and pop shop atmosphere with a MIND BLOWING inventory. After my first visit there I now plan on doing much more business with this company. I recommend everyone reading this does the same. We need more shops like this around. Keep up the great work

Brad is a demeaning and cantankerous and unwilling to own up to his mistakes and will make you pay for there mistakes. So this is what happened...I called around and finally ended up at some website that has a network of 20+ large salvage parts yards in there network and they sent out a request for this part (yamaha xv920rh tank). Oz called me two days later and told me that this is a rare item but they have some and what the price for a damaged tank and a less damaged tank would cost. I ordered the tank 3 days later and specified the year and the sub model (RH) and they again told me that it was a rare item and hence the reason for the premium price, not to mention i paid extra for the less damaged tank. two weeks later i finally got the tank........WRONG TANK! i was livid to say the least. they charged me extra for a tank that sells for way less all because they don't know there parts correctly. There is a EURO spec Yamaha made for one year. 1981 was the only year they made this tank and the guys from Oz knew that yet since they were unclear on which tank i wanted...despite my specific request they sent a very common tank and admitted they weren't entirely sure of which tank to send. So instead of calling and asking one more time to make sure they didn't make a mistake they sent me this piece of crap from a 1982 yamaha xv920j which i already have. Called the guys they are willing to exchange it but i have to pay to ship it back...so in other words i am having to pay more for there mistake. I requested that they pay for the shipping on the way back and they refused and Brad blamed me for the mistake and used degrading words and a demeaning attitude the entire time. The dudes an a hole because he remembers out conversation but omits the part where i repeatedly specify which tank i want and he also omits the part where he acknowledges the rarity of the tank i want. So in closing... unless you have patience and a liking for bad business ethics don't use them.

BUYER MUST READ AND BEWARE! Better Business Bureau BBB rated Oz "F" on a scale of A+ to F. I needed after market pipes for a 650 V Star. He sent them after two weeks but they didn't fit. After a month and a half going around with Brad I find out the pipes are for an 1100 V Star because of the number stamping. Since I contacted the BBB, Brad has refused to communicate to me regarding return or exchange. Brad LIES! Changes stories to make the customer look bad. Admits the on line buyer is not as important as the customer at the door. What a way to run a business. The pipes cost $200.00 plus $55 shipping of the wrong part. I found NEW pipes with shipping for $314.00 and a warranty. Please save yourself the phone calls, emails and aggravation and shop elsewhere. At least check with the BBB rating of the store.

I bought a salvage throttle body assembly for my 2008 Suzuki Burgman. When I received the part it did not function properly. When I told them about it, they said the part was fine and my mechanic didn't know what he was talking about. I returned the part for a replacement and they never sent me another part. I contacted them on several occasions, but still no part and no money back. When I finally did get a partial reimbursement, they withheld more than $107.50 (29%) as a restocking fee. All this, and it took more than 3 months and constant calling. I had to speak to the owner about it to get a refund and he withheld more money than is reasonable. They give the worst customer service I have ever experienced and reflect poorly on every brand they carry.
