They tried to tow my mother’s car which was parked legitimately on our road in front of our home while she was in the hospital.
On top of that they charge insane prices with no explanation as to why they’re so high when asked and there are multiple stories of them taking advantage of the vulnerable or elderly.
Crooks the lot of them.
I have State Farm insurance and they happened to dispatch Lighthouse. I was impressed with how the tower arrived quickly and went above and beyond to help me. He was pleasant to chat with and got my car to the shop I needed it to go to.
I've always had good interactions with the folks here. I've used Lighthouse for personal towing needs and I use them for the community I manage in Lawrence to tow when needed. Pricing is fair & comprable to other companies.
Lighthouse Tow was recommended by the list provided by the police officer helping with a stranded car on April 7th. I was towed less than two miles straight down Haskell and 1/2 a block on 23rd. My insurance was hit with a $300 bill. Tows are usually $75 in town. AVOID!
Extremely unprofessional and unfriendly staff. They towed my car and could not provide any documentation for the reason. You can also only pay cash, really fishy company. I payed 275$ for about a one mile tow. Would definitely not recommend.
