I’m a little late on this review. But this man was so nice when my RV alternator went out he met me out on the highway and replaced it right there on the spot. Couldn’t be happier.
I'm an escort for oversized loads when my truck started making noise under the hood while close to Alma Kansas I had to find somebody to fix my truck quickly. Mike was awesome he had me come to the shop he diagnosed it quickly and he hooked me up with the right person to get the alternator and I found a mobile mechanic. Mike with Johnson's diesel and automotive are going to come out and install it. Mike was super and didn't even charge me for the diagnosis. He was a very nice guy and he knew his way around vehicles. I highly recommend both companies if you are looking for a diesel mechanic called Derek and for your automotive repairs don't hesitate to call Mike both of these guys will take care of you with your best interest in mind.
Mike is awesome! My windshield wiper became disconnected while it had been raining all day. We pulled up to Mike's just before close and asked him to take a look. He fixed it up quick and got us back on our way. Very nice and helpful to 2 young college students in need. Saved us. I love Mike with my whole heart.
Did amazing job pulling my car out of a ditch front buried in snow. Got it out without any scratches. Highly recommend calling when you need help getting your car out.
Mike is an Angel in human form. All that was needed was for my son to be pulled out of a ditch. Put a claim in with my roadside assistance, and that whole process was a nightmare. So after two hours of waiting, and not hearing much from the Roadside assistance company, I started calling tow companies everyone in Manhattan said they were too busy to go down to the highway. A few people suggested calling tow companies in Junction City when I called a tow they wanted $400+ dollars just to hook up and pull out of the ditch.
I called another company in Manhattan and they were too busy but they recommended calling Mike’s in Alma. When I talked to him, he was busy at the moment and said he would call me back to see if his help is still needed, and it was. He went to pull my son out of the ditch and get him back on the road, and then called me with the price which was so reasonable compared to what other companies told me they would charge if they were able to make it out there. He was super friendly, and even apologetic for my son having to sit there so long. Yes, it is a snowy day and I know companies get busier on snow days. Mike took the time get out there to help. If I am ever in the area and need a tow or roadside assistance, I will call him before I even go through my insurance company. 😀
Mike was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and FAST! He identified and repaired the problem and
led me to his shop for further tests and repairs,
and got me back on the road! The charge was minimal for the service he provided, and I can’t say enough good things about our transaction.

My keys got locked in my Highlander in Parkerville Ks this past Saturday night. I called triple A on Sunday morning and they called back and said that Mike's Auto would be out by 9:30. Well they were there by 9:20. It was pouring down rain and he worked for probably 30 minutes before he finally got to the keys. So nice and friendly nthe whole time.
Thank you so very much. If we ever break down on 1-70 close to Alma I will ask triple A if you're available.

My truck broke down on the side of the highway and I called AAA who sent out Mike. He was very professional and honest giving me advice on what it could be. It started out just being a tow, but he’s truly a nice and humble guy so I decided to use his shop which I don’t regret!
It was really nice to know that the parts and labor was backed by a national warranty.
He and his employee were very nice and did the work quickly. I only wish I had an awesome dude and mechanic shop like Mikes Auto where I live in Florida!
I called this service when my car broke down. The phone did not answer and I left a message in hope. In the morning Mike called me. Within three hours he solved my problem - he repaired the car. I am very grateful for this guy. Highly recommend! 👍👍👍 Keep it up
I hit a big pot hole that damaged both tires and wheels on the right side of my car. Mike got a good tire on the right rear so our car could be towed over 30 miles to our dealer in Topeka, to wait for wheels and tires. Mike had checked for wheels in the Alma, Wamego and Manhattan Area but none were available. We enjoyed visiting with Mike on the way to Topeka, he is really dedicated to helping people with vehicle problems.
Mike was the best tow service I've ever used. We were broken down on I70 from out of town and he dropped everything to come grab our truck and even found another person to tow our boat. He went above and beyond. Highly recommend.
My daughter had an accident Labor Day and needed to be towed. Mikes tow service was there promptly after being called. They were very professional and helpful. They were so easy to work with when we went to retrieve the car. I can’t thank them enough for all they did for us during a stressful situation.
I was stranded for four hours in the middle of the night and the middle of nowhere. Mike's Auto Repair was the only place that agreed to come pick me up, even though they were further than everyone else that was asked and I had to be towed 2 hours. I was stranded for so long, a police officer dropped me off at the nearest gas station 30 minutes away from my car, and Mike's Auto Repair still picked me up. Very awesome people. I was told too, that with Covid going on, it was hard to find another company that was willing to let me be in the vehicle while my car was being towed home. Bryan even brought a charger because my phone was dying. Thanks for not leaving me stranded! Quality service and people. Thank you Bryan!
We got a flat on I-70 and within minutes, Justin, with Mike’s Auto was there with a great attitude fixing our tire. The lug nuts were stripped, the tire wouldn’t budge - and he was able to pull it. Then, he checked all our other tires, offered me some needed advice and told me if we had any other issues along the way to call. Such a relief on a hot KS summer day.
I was broken down on the interstate and looked up "auto service near me". I was truly blessed to get Mike on the phone. He asked pertinent questions so he would know what would be needed. In 20 minutes he showed up, got my truck patched up enough so I could drive to his shop, saving me a towing fee. He had to order parts but had me back on the road in an hour or two. Mike is not only a good mechanic, but a good human being and a proud American Veteran. This is EXACTLY how a customer oriented business should operate. I only wished I lived closer than 750 miles as Mike would be my "go to guy".
My bumper fell off and ripped other parts of the bottom of my car off while I was in the freeway so I came here to Mike’s and he was so nice and helpful! He took off what was ruined and secured what could be while bringing me in to show and explain to me everything he was doing. Great price as well! Definitely recommend especially if you’re in an iffy situation!
