This place is not trustworthy. They charged an outrageous price, delayed the work, and did not contact me in a timely manner. They promised to replace a part but failed to keep their promise, so I had the issue fixed at another repair shop. This repair shop is unprofessional and unreliable.
This is by far one of the best mechanic shops I’ve ever been to!! Very honest and fair priced not to mention VERY knowledgeable. I was passing through from Dallas and my car broke down. John took the time to figure out what the problem was, and got me back the road at Gods speed! ?? highly recommended
I brought a friend in to get a starter changed. They didn't tell them the price before changing the starter out. They call him after and say it will be 518 for everything. I called a whole bunch of mechanics around pittsburg and they told me that they were overcharging her for the repair just because she didn't know what was wrong with it fully. All the mechanics said 518 is high the piece is only 100 to 200. And when her husband came in they were talking about her and didn't even give him a breakdown of the price of why it was so much. To remove the piece they were still charging 160 even though they didn't tell him how much it would be before they did the repair. Do not recommend this business if you are foreign or a women be prepared to be overcharged and no explanation on the price.

Have been taking my vehicles to this gentleman for the better part of 2 decades. Has always come thru, making suggestions, and repairing. For as long as I remain in area, continue taking my cars to him.
He was extremely polite and got the job done fast. Extremely professional, customer friendly, and affordable. Will definitely return if i have car troubles again, and absolutely recommend to others looking for affordable and convenient car repairs.
They are good people they are fair and reasonably priced and they'll do a good job with all the experiences I've had with them I recommend this place for any auto mechanic work
I had reviewed this shop as 5 stars two years ago. But I’m am changing it to a one. I’m highly unsatisfied. I put my car in Johns shop October 2018. Here is is March 2020. He was supposed to replace my motor. I supplied the motor and I already PAID him for labor and parts. I have gone in and checked on it, I’ve been telling him I need it. I understand one of his employees got sick and the other quit last year but he has had more than enough time to finish my car.
Brought a vehicle in because we needed it for work. We waited for multiple weeks to hear back. They took the van apart to diagnose it. Then wouldn't let us take it until he worked on it. We finally paid him and picked the vehicle up. Items that were in the vehicle were damaged and he left it open long enough to let a bird in there and poop on the entire interior of the vehicle we needed fixed for our company. We will never give him out business again.
They tried fixing my car which had a bad alternator, service was fine at first, decent price. Not long later started having the same issues with my car and then some which cost me so much more that what I originally set out to pay. I went to a different shop because they showed me clearly what was wrong with it. One of the things was that the battery in the car was made for a car much smaller than mine and the only people to touch the battery prior was J&J (my car is fairly new and hadn't needed maintenance on the battery before). The place can be good to get a fix cheap, I know O'Reilly reccomends it to people, but I will not be going back there myself.
boss took car in to have the catalytic converter replaced. had $130 ignition module and a $50 coil laying in the vehicle and they were stolen. Blamed people on bicycles, said he's not responsible. Will not be going there again...
Wonderful, had issues with my car that were multiplied by attempting to fix ourselves. He got it all fixed, very little wait time on getting vehicle back
I took my truck in to his shop on Saturday at 11 AM and got it back at 5PM. Called him Saturday and got it fixed by that night, while most shops were closed by 11! The helped me out big time and was a fair price! I broke a bolt off in my engine, he got it out and finished the job for me and got me back on the road. I will come back again. Very Fast service!
