What clients say about Copart - Davenport in Eldridge (IA)
If you like to waste your time and bad customer service come see this location . Andy will make sure to help you with that. Management don’t care neither is corporate.
They need motor running videos that will make things a lot better !
The worse copart branch I ever specially the manager wasn’t respectful at all , I bought a car on Thursday I came to pick up on Friday ,she refused I came back on Monday they charged me the policy is 8 days. She has her own rules. Copart must take care of that. I used to buy from Minneapolis and others copart they are all good and respect customers
Copart will not credit your payment to your account for several days, leaving you unable to pick up the vehicle until they finally credit your payment, and charge you storage fees for not having the vehicle out of the yard within 3 days even though it was entirely their fault! If you plan to have any contact with customer service you must wait on hold for 45 minutes or longer. Awful company to buy vehicles from, would not recommend!
Copart Davenport is a very unprofessional business that I would not recommend to others. I was in a car accident a few months ago that ended with my car being totaled. My insurance had my car sent here while it was being looked over for damage. I had to grab the things from my car quick to have it towed away and forgot my garage door opener. Once I realized (two weeks after), I called to have the car checked. The lady on the phone was very rude and said that it was my fault and that it would take her a long time to go out and look in my car. It took them one week to get back to me, each time I called they said they were looking. Finally, they said they had it and I needed my insurance to release it. This was done in the same day. I called back provided my address and they said they would get it mailed out to me. Weeks go by and I start to wonder where it is at. I called back and the lady told me that it was mailed out but for some reason they do not have a tracking number. Another week goes by and I had still not received it. I call back and they said they do not know where it is "It must have got lost" but states that it never was actually mailed out. Lady said she would call me back.. 4 days go by. I call again, still no idea. They call me later that day to tell me that they do not have it and it likely got thrown away since it was over 30 days and then it is their property. (I called and had my insurance release it within 30 days, so another lie.) The lady told me that the original person who I dealt with is no longer with the company therefor they have no idea what happened. The lady was very rude! At one point she said very loudly "Its my turn to talk!" when I was trying to explain that I had called within 30 days originally and how I was told it was mailed out 2 separate times. She told me their contract is to only keep things for 30 days then it is theirs. It was under 30 days when they deemed this theirs and threw it away. Therefor they breached their own contracts. Rude customer service, untrustworthy, and belittling company and employees.
Customer Service is EXTREMELY Rude! Spend your money elsewhere!! Called to find out information on an item listed online for Auction and CLEARLY this was a huge inconvenience for the woman on the other end. She literally repeated the same sentence 3 times and that didn't answer the question I had. Zero dollars from me or anyone I know. Excellent way to put yourself out of business. 👍🏻👍🏻
Absolutely avoid this company!! Will sell junk yard and salvaged title vehicles knowing they CAN NOT be registered until it passes inspection and appraisal. Vehicle description is not properly represented. Buyer beware! If you are not an auto mechanic or dealer. FYI ALL Hail damaged cars must be repaired even the slightest ding! Check your state laws and Department of Transportation.
Lemons to Lemonade, Glory Be to God! Be warned - at COPART, after you purchase a vehicle, it must be loaded onto a trailer, tow truck etc. - it cannot be driven off their lot. Unaware of this rule, we were stranded with nothing but corn and crickets surrounding us. Thankfully, JBA Towing & Roadside Service came along and towed our new vehicle to the BP Gas Station on Leclaire Rd (two left turns from Copart). The JBA Towing and BP employees were kind. **I have revised this review. Our experience with the COPART office could have been better, but I appreciate the information we received. Thanks.
DO NOT COME HERE pt. 2. After several weeks of dealing with copart I finally got my vehicle back to me from a hail damage estimate at their eldridge yard. I noticed my vehicle was missing several of my belongings upon return. I asked the tow truck driver if he noticed these items when he picked it up, and he had photographic proof that the items were not there. I called copart to find out where my stuff was. They denied that it was ever in there, despite the photographic proof from the tow truck driver. I told them I would be filing a police report to investigate them as this has been a recurring incident with other customers in the past. The technicians at coparts eldridge yard are stealing personal items from cars and the company is covering them by denying any knowledge of it. The eldridge police department is aware of this and there is an ongoing investigation. Whatever you do, do not come here.
Very unprofessional, not organized they would tell me one moment through the portal everything was good, then log in the next day and they needed more paperwork. Paperwork that had already been sent to them twice. I was skeptical from the start with using this company. Their customer service was horrible as well.
The treatment of this girl was horrible, she didn't even let me speak and she was wrong and then she said sorry.
Staff are always the best! The ladies taking care of the paperwork and the guys loading the vehicle. Great people here! Keep up the great work...Loved the Halloween costumes, a sweet Pony took care of me that day!
India the girl in the office was very nice and kind and I walked in she had all my paperwork ready was very pleasant went back outside and the guy on the loader was waiting for me all around great experience
Good job assisting with a purchase. Helpful finding a tow company to get a vehicle delivered. Not all is as it seems. My wife actually drove this vehicle 1,150 miles to Copperas Cove, TX from Montecello, IA without any problems. Salvage title vehicles can still be good to buy and use. We are trying to buy more from them. Always looking. Thanks
This company is one of poorest managed companies I’ve had to deal with in my entire life. Title procurement office and the yard personnel communicate at grade school kids level. This has been a freaking nightmare dealing with these idiots. I regret ever dealing with them and USAA for an owner retained incident.
Drivers no west your time I was there 430. They said no it’s too late. To load the car and I was check in on the app arrive
Said vehicle ran and drove, it did not.
I was an accidental and it wasn't my fault. The insurance of the other guy totaled it out. They had copart contact me to tow it. A woman asked if it was ready to tow. I said no, because I was at work and wouldn't be home to clear it until noon the next day. She said oh they won't tow it until a couple days. I said ok. Needless to say they towed it the next morning. I called to get my stuff mailed. Was told to talk to the insurance. I was done with that. I contacted them. Insurance okayed shipping of my items. The insurance last told me to call them back and give them a list of all the items i wanted. I called copart when I was about to give them a list of the items I wanted mailed the last cut me off and said they would mail everything that wasn't apart of the car. When I got the box needless to say it wasn't missing 3 larger items that would be very difficult to miss. The some of money it would cost to replace thet items is 150.00 dollars. I called copart back telling them what they did. The lady kept cutting me off and told me to call the insurance and give me a list of the stuff that was missing. I tried to explain to her that I did that once and they had already made it up. She insuredi the insurance company would have to pay for the mailing of the items. II though that was unfair to the insurance company since copart screwed up in towing the car, then not bothering to write down all the things I needed out, not getting everything out then being rude about it when I asked about it. Heaven forbid I ever get in to another car accident that totals it out. If I did and they said copart was towing it I would absolutely refuse. I don't know what customer service training these ladies have but they need to get some training in human decency and listening with it interrupting.
My father's bike that was totaled went up for auction I won it online! Went to go pick it up by myself and needed help loading it and locking it down in the trailer!!! The guy there went above and beyond his duties to help me knowing how special this bike was to me to have!!! He was very friendly! The front desk lady was a little rude when asking things especially when she thought I didn't have all the paperwork even though I know I did! What saved her was the guy that helped me with everything that's why it got 5 stars!!!
Worst customer service ever. This is my first review ever written. Never have I had the need until now. Call started with 2 minutes of dead air before being helped. Asked questions that cust service agent ignored completely. I sold my car for less money to not deal with this garbage service
USAA used Coparts as a third party to handle total loss title transfers. Accident happen October 19th still waiting in the paperwork to go through. First packet of paperwork never arrived, second packet took a week to get , was just informed today that the date section had an issue (this is 2 weeks after returning the packet). Coparts told me they were waiting on a Guaranteed Agreement from the bank. My bank was never sent a request for this agreement. Complete pain my claim still is in Limbo a month later. Customer service terrible, timely delivery terrible, communication terrible.
Have to look up the fees before you bid. If I had one complaint it's that Everytime I'm trying to complete the sale. The employees try talking to the person helping me and distracting them.
It’s was my pleasure to connect with Copart customer service, my processing went very smoothly, helpful and welcoming throughout all my experience.
Staff could be a little friendlier. Thanks for the car purchase. Will not return to this Location
Good place picking up a car I won at the auction when you enter remember to scan the QR code in Oder to get In line and wait in your car they will message you when they are ready for you I waited about 10 mins I got their 30 mins after they open so not a lot of people waiting for cars when i
Hope I never have to come back and deal with the terribly rude customer service at the office. Very poor directions paired with a really short attitude.
They where very helpful ! And made our turn around quick 👍 Loader but was very gentle and precise!
Really bad customer service I would not recommend (Davenport )Copart to anyone they very very rude and specially the lady with black hair she’s so disrespectful!
I can't explain the experience I had at Copart you have to see it for yourself, check the lot out before you bid on them, its great.
The staff in the office are friendly and helpful. Vehicle loading was very simple with minimal waiting.
