Horrible customer service. Swearing and having an attitude with me over the phone because I couldn’t come pay the tow bill right away. Proceeded to threaten to not let me get any of my stuff until I pay tow bill.(was less than a week) Never showed me a tow bill when I got there and pretty much conned me into just giving them my car. Would not recommend to anyone!!
The worst customer service. I called the guy when the flood in Spencer happened. I asked how much would it cost to move the car from Spencer to Ruthven. I also mentioned that the car is in an apartment complex garage. Additionally, I mentioned that Boji Towing company couldn't do it fast because they had to get a skid loader first, pull out the car with a skid loader and then load it on a tow truck. The guy on the phone told me it would cost $250-300. I asked him again if there would be an issue to pull the car out, he said, "no."
Ok, I offered to send him the pics so he understands what he needs to deal with. He replied that it will be ok, he will pull it out.
I gave him the address. The guys apparently doesn't know how to use the GPS. I gave him the street address specifically saying it is SE... He called me saying he's at the right place next to Chinese restaurant... We don't have Chinese restaurants on the SE street, so I told him he is on the north side of the river. Eventually, he found our apartment complex, when he parked next to the garage, he started complaining that I didn't explain to him the situation... I didn't tell him he would need a skid loader. My man, if you can't listen or hear, it is YOUR problem, not mine. He said I would have to pay for a diesel he wasted to come here.
I started running around looking for a skid loader. Thanks to the woodruff construction company, they spent their time and a skid loader for 20 minutes to pull out my car from a garage. Super grateful to those guys!
While the car was pulled out and loaded, the guy from Wickman was so careless. I told him, I need this car to maintain this condition so the appraiser would come and see the damage caused by flood, not by careless transportation or towing.
While we were driving to Ruthven, he increased the price to 400$(to transport the car from Spencer to Ruthven without pulling the car out of garage because other guys did it for him).
When he was dropping the car at Ruthven, he was careless again and I had to get close to his personal space and warned him. After that, he was more cooperative.
Overall, I would never deal with this guy again and I would NEVER recommend him or his company ever again as well.
