Great place they do tons for the community and the mission is just fantastic. Employees are super kind and helpful! Very nice buildings plenty of parking as well.
Good place to take in your deposits. Would be a heck of a lot more convenient if they were open on Saturdays... People who work during the week have trouble finding the time to come in on 3 week days they're open. You get more taking them to Walmart, self-service obviously, but you get every nickle back. Take your pick.
This is a great place but the can redemption center has changed a lot during the summer. I do not use the big bags because I do not have a truck to haul them. However this summer the guy took the equivalent money for 3 bags. When I recently told him about it ( now that they are open again AFTER covid hit so hard) every detail. He did not remember therefore did not believe me. He told me I could take my recycling elsewhere. I asked where is there another place. He said wal-mart. I believe I will give that a try.
I am an honest person, I have taken cans and plastics in the same way for years. It just bothered me that he didn't see me as a trustworthy person. I am involved in many activities in the community.
These people serve the most in need of what everyone thinks of as mundane, a job, a sense of being productive and being treated with respect. And all do it with a smile and caring. Adults with mild cognitive delays can be a part of a modern society with this company's help.
