Alan and his crew did an outstanding job with some paint and body work in the rocker panel area of my restored 1961 Chrysler 300G. Communication was outstanding with frequent progress updates via text and photos. The body work is Pebble Beach concours level quality, and the paint was custom matched to the correct factory color and superbly applied and blended. I am very pleased with results. What a blessing to have this level of restoration quality available locally here in Eastern Iowa!
Country Auto Restorations did the paint and bodywork on my 1968 Camaro SS, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From day one, Alan worked with care and patience as we selected the right color. He took the time to understand what I was envisioning, but also had an instinct for what the car needed. When he shared his suggestion—wow. It was spot on. Absolutely stunning.
Their communication throughout the process was excellent. They made sure I was in the loop on anything unexpected, and always asked for my input before moving forward. You can tell they take tremendous pride in their meticulous work—it shows in every inch of the car.
As someone who wanted to do much of the restoration myself, I had tons of questions once I brought the shell home and dove into the rest of the build. That’s where these guys truly set themselves apart. Jarod, in particular, was incredibly generous with his knowledge. You don’t often find a shop so willing to guide and share information, especially on the challenges of marrying vintage and modern components in a restomod. His help made a huge difference in how this project came together.

Horrible company to do business with. Work has not been completed for what we were billed. We were screamed at by both the owner and son because we asked to see receipts. We then were kicked out of the shop. The photo of the car, is after they charged thousands in labor. Would never recommend them. Update: 5/2025 I've discovered all body panel welds are done in a cold weld not hot weld. They will all need to be redone. Costing me an additional $6,000.00 to $12,000.00 to fix. Do not recommend this company.
I was introduced to this place about 20 years ago. Alan is top notch in his skill and artistic abilities and has maintained a high standard of quality through the years. But on top of that I was blown away at how fast he got my job done and at a fantastic price. I am definitely a happy customer.
These guys do phenomenal work! I have had 2 trucks repaired by them. One truck I’ve had for 13 years after they painted it and not a spec of rust is in the body. They rust proofed the whole truck and it’s lasted. This truck is also my work truck so it gets used and abused. They just completed my 2010 Ford Raptor and it looks amazing. The rockers where covered with rust. Had a local company fix it and a year later it was rusting again. Country Auto sand blasted it and fixed everything the way it should be. The rust proofing is perfect and I know from experience it will last! I would gladly drive any vehicle or mine 9 hrs to have them work on it!

I had them completely redo my 2013 Boss 302, complete repaint and body after our big storm in August dropped my shop on the car. The car turned out amazing. Way better than when it came out of the factory. I highly recommend them to anyone that wants top tier work done, the best.

They let me know what was wrong with my vehicle, let me know that it wasn't safe to drive. The service was great and they didn't beat around the bush about my vehicle. They took the time to explain everything to me and helped me out with what I had questions for. Definitely worth going to. And definitely worth the service.
I limped in with my Honda Element after running 151 south for 25 miles thinking I’d freeze if I quit running . After the first two repair shops couldn't get me in for 5 days I pulled in to Country Auto . Jarod Came out and gave me immediate service . That night he checked out the issue on the Internet . The next day he came in early, checked it out and ordered the part ! I was on the road at 11 AM ! Great Job ! Ran two tanks of fuel through it today and am in Wichita tonight . Great job and fair price . Would recommend to my family!
Took my car in because it was not working correctly and I was afraid to drive it the 30 miles that I drive to and from work. I explained that I really needed my car asap as I couldn't afford to lose any time at my job and they got my car running within the day and I was on the road again the very next day. Car still is working great! Thanks to a very efficient and very friendly staff! I will always take my car there!
