The guy who waited on me acted as if he was inconvenienced by my coming in. Not nice, just done enough to get the item and take my money. No, thank you, come again, absolutely nothing!
Went in for a fan belt replacement and because it wasn't big buck they said go to auto parts .Didn't even try to help me.It wasn't for a car bit equipment they sell.Never will they have my business or the company I work for.
Every time a top tier experience. Dealing with Jason when buying equipment couldn't be easier. His knowledge, professionalism, and level of communication is second to none. It makes doing business here very easy. On the back-end when things go wrong and break, (like all equipment will do at some point), the guys in the back are also great. Doug has helped out on many occasions with weird one off questions, and handles it like a boss!

Just called them about an issue with a snow blower. The guy had to be pulling his hair out I was so stupid about the issue at hand, my vocabulary was useless in assisting him. He was endlessly patient and actually got it fixed for me over the phone. I would suggest going here for all home outdoor needs for everything because their customer service actually exists and is exceptional!
They were able to work on my Jeep Wrangler last minute for me and fixing my wiring for my taillight and my light bar ! Absolutely amazing work, definitely recommend and will be back! Thanks David and the Service team
Never been there before so first time was a treat! Not afraid to work on RVs!! Will go there and do other business with them down the road!! Friendly staff and answered all American my questions!!
The people at the front desk are friendly and helpful and Ive received great service from them when I bought new equipment.. But don't ever bring the service department anything you didn't buy at pyramid. The guy is a real jerk
Hands down the best place to get your car repaired. I’ve taken my car here for years and now know most of the guys here. Doug and his team can figure out what’s wrong with your car, even if it’s something bizarre, like the time washer fluid backed up into my engine.
I bought a used JD rider! That dropped if off. The deck needed alittle adjustment they came and got it no charge and adjusted it no issue! Great place to but new or used. Took push mower there as well! Reasonable $
Have bought many push mowers and garden tractors over the years, from Pyramid, have always had great service and fair prices. Good place to get all your lawn mower/ lawn care needs!
They do a good work there and stock most parts that you will need. The sell everything from riding mowers, self propelled mowers, push mowers and a good selection of weedeaters, trimmers and chainsaws. ALWAYS bring the model number in with you if you want parts...
Good luck if you ever need your purchase serviced! Called after winter to have a fuel leak checked on Toro snowblower (second I had purchased there). Was told they were not working on snowblowers, just mowers. Called in October, told 8 week wait. Now a customer of City Tractor North Liberty!
A nice short walk around the park and ballfields, trees planted look healthy and growing. Shade coming soon. The Leeds center was excellent and we were surprised how few were using the facility and how especially howinexpensive the costs. Baseball being played at all the fields and others picnicking in the park. Quite beautiful what the community is able to do and maintain. It's always nice to be back and to watch the progress of a great community. I do miss the shuffleboard in the park as my only complaint other than we weren't able to stay longer. Clarinda is one in a million. Not sure how this got under Pyramid.
Just arrived in town and dropped by to have them look at my old S-10, truck. They chatted with me, drove it, gave good doctors advice, sent me to another place and charged me exactly $0. The world still has these places! Good to hear. Jason, Doug, other....all 5 *s.
Bought a new John Deere X580 lawn tractor a year ago. On delivery and start-up, it died. They had forgotten oil. Quick repair so we thought good things. Had general maintenance done this winter (oil change, blades sharpened, etc.). On first mow, BOTH BLADES FELL OFF!!! Obviously, they do really poor repairs. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND! See ya!
Pyramid picked up my snow plow and changed it back to lawn mower-they we’re quick and so professional. Very personable and reliable. I would highly recommend them!
I dropped off 2 chainsaw chains to be sharpened on Friday. I was told that they would probably be done the same day, but that even though they took down my phone number they do not make calls to tell people when their stuff is done. Called back a while latter and they weren't done. Probably be done Monday. By the third day of "probably be done today" I had gone out and purchased my own chain sharpener. On the fourth day I stopped to pick up my chains, and was told they should get to them today. Needless to say I took my chains with me, still unsharpened, and sharpened them myself. After 4 days of playing phone tag to see if they did the job I was paying them to do, on the day they said they would do it, I ended up doing it myself. Big waste of time. I highly recommend the Stihl chainsaw sharpener though. Works great, and gets the job done when you want it done instead of promising it'll be done today for 4 days in a row.
I've bought quite a bit of power equipment from here. Mowers, chain saws, leaf blowers, weed eaters, snow blowers, etc. They are very knowledgeable and won't steer you wrong. I've always left there feeling as if customer satisfaction was extremely important to them.
Pyramid is a great place for service on both vehicles and lawn care equipment. They're probably awesome at other things, but these are the two I've needed help with. Employees are knowledgeable, helpful and available. If you need service on your equipment, this is the place to go.
I’ve been doing business with Pyramid for many years and I love the way John runs his business and treats his customers. It’s most usually with a smile and a confident, professional frankness that only somebody with years of experience can pull off.
Just recently I traded mowers with them and today I received a check because they had mistakenly not posted the sale price that Toro was offering. On the back was a hand written note explaining the error with an apology. How many people/businesses do that? I don’t need the money and it doesn’t matter the amount, it’s knowing that there’s still people out there that do it the right way.

I buy parts and equipment from Pyramid both for business and person use, for over 5 years now. Their parts people are always helpful, even when you don't have all the information needed; even when you're ordering parts they don't carry, or brands they don't service. They'll help you anyways. They know their equipment and can help you choose the right piece for the application. They will cover you from purchase, through repairs, to the end of the equipment's service life. Sometimes the phone get busy, but that's probably a good sign. Thanks for 5 years of great service and I'm looking forward to many more!
Very fair with my trade for a newer lawn tractor. Jason did an excellent job in representing Pyramid, even made a trip out to the country to see my trade in. Pyramid has taken care of us on JD parts /service and chain saw parts/service for years now and we can not be more pleased. Always friendly and helpful.
Bought a lawn mower and weed eater from Pyramid, and got great knowlegable service.
Told Jason what I was looking for, he gave me many options, and then made sure both were full of gas and running properly. He took the time to show me how both started and even sent in the warranty cards for me. Would highly recommend Pyramid Services!
Doug and Frank at Pyramid have worked on my car for almost 10 years and are absolutely awesome. They are always upfront about cost and do their best to make sure my vehicle is always maintained well. I am by no means a car person and they always explain things clearly to me so I know what the best choice to make is. Won't take my vehicles anywhere else. Thanks guys!
Horrible customer service! They had our mower for 13 days....no phone call, no nothing. When I called them after 8 days they said they were hoping to get to it by Friday and would call. On the following Tuesday my husband called them and it was finally ready. He had requested the belts be changed because they were original to the mower. He got there to pick it up and received a bill for almost $400.00 and the belts were the same. Needless to say, we won't be going back there!
Nobody wanted to work on my car because of electrical issues, Doug took it in at 8 am Tuesday morning and called me by 3 pm to tell me it was done! Great service, talked me through everything,informed me of all fee's and prices before even worming on car! Highly recommend
