Tried to tow our vehicle from an area that they "had a contract with". Paid cash to get it off wheels at the time. Pretty bogus encounter if you ask me. No signs posted for no parking.... Seems to me like a nice scam they have going on
I can’t say enough good things about Keegan from Riggs Towing. After making the mistake of driving my Tesla down a level B road, he showed up first thing the next morning. From the start, he was incredibly kind, reassuring, and beyond helpful. You could tell right away that he’s not just excellent at his job, but also a genuinely good human being.
His professionalism, honesty, and calm attitude made a stressful situation so much easier to deal with. The pricing was extremely fair, and the service was superb from start to finish. I would recommend Keegan and Riggs Towing to absolutely anyone who finds themselves in need of towing or recovery services.
If you want someone who goes above and beyond while treating you with respect and kindness, Keegan is your guy.
Towed my girlfriend’s car and had it for all of 8 hours and still charged $210. Not to mention they are 15 miles off the beaten path…high way robbery at its finest.
They towed my motorcycle (which is fine, I paid $800 for a spot for my car but apparently I can’t park my motorcycle there, although dumb I get that those are the rules)
but my issue is that they dropped my motorcycle, clearly scratched up the side, then denied it. I know it was them because there was also visibly gas spilled on the side of the motorcycle which would only happen if it got knocked over- and it wasn’t someone else because it was towed within the hour that it was parked
they then tried to get me to sign a piece of paper saying that they didn’t cause any damages to my vehicle and lied about what it was and said it didn’t have anything to do with that.
real class act, now I lost money for the tow and i’m going to lose money to fix my motorcycle

Big Ten towing was a fast and reliable service. I needed my RV towed from Hancher Auditorium to McGraths in Cedat Rapids and they were there less than 30 minutes after the call and got my RV to it's destination. If yiu ever need towing call and Becky will get your information and Al will get yiur vehicle where it needs to go.
Al has picked up my corvette twice, does great work, very friendly, recommend, we had a few laughs now that this has been the 2nd tome in a month my car was DOA!!!!
Paid two days of “storage fee” even tho they had my car for less than 24h. I hope they feel good about their business model of taking advantage of students.
I can’t say enough good things about Big 10 University Towing — and especially Randall, who came to my rescue when my rental car had a flat tire. Dealing with the rental company was frustrating, but the moment Big 10 got involved, everything turned around. Randall was not only quick and efficient but also incredibly kind and reassuring, which made a stressful situation so much easier. Thanks to him, I was back on the road in no time. Both of my Hawkeye kids now know that if they ever need a tow, tire change, or roadside help, Big 10 University Towing is the number to call. Highly, highly recommend these folks!
I was driving east bound visiting a family member from Cedar Rapids, IA and I had a tire blow out on I 80 E long story short my tow driver “AL” was quick to arrive on the scene and have my vehicle towed to the nearest fire stone. He was very professional, insightful, and he even gave me a few stops to visit if I’m ever in town. Nothing bad to say about this guy at all! Highly recommend.
This company was great! After waiting over 90 mins for AAA tow, I contacted Big 10 directly! They were even able to switch my AAA call. Dusty was fast and friendly. My dogs liked him so that was a good sign! Being on I80 for hours, they were a Hod send!

Went fishing and locked the keys in the truck. Al got here at the lake quickly and had the doors unlocked very fast. Al seemed like a very happy fellow too. Also, today is father's day.
Called on a Saturday morning and they were on-site within 20 minutes. Al, the driver, was courteous and very professional. Explained th process and dropped the car off with the key, at the dealership without myself being present. It just cannot get any easier than that. Couldn't be smoother than that. Stress free for sure!
Al was are driver and amazing driver he was I'll like too thank him and the company for their persistent and accuracy on finding myself and child on the highway so quickly,the drive home was safe and comfortable and Al is a true angel too get a home safe. My car was towed from my own spot because I had forgotten to put my parking tag back up after a weekend away. The thing that is the most frustrating is not only do they see my car parked in that spot everyday as we are reaching the end of the lease, they couldn’t bother checking or giving a warning. Nor were they understanding or very helpful when I got there. Disappointing, but it is what it is!
I initially called Big Ten Towing for a tow when the keys to my car stopped working, but Al saved the day when he managed to get my car open! In addition to his super friendly demeanor and helpful tips, he got to me MUCH faster than the estimated wait time was stated to be (it said 7:30 PM and he was there at 5:30 and had me on the road about 15 minutes later!). What was going to be a horrible day, turned into a wonderful one thanks to Big Ten and specifically Al!
Do NOT go through this tow company. They are AWFUL. Always disrespectful, rude, slow to arrive, and even refuse to do their job!
I suggest Holiday. These guys refused to tow a car parked ILLEGALLY outside of a child's bedroom. They said call the city. So I did. The city said they will handle it.
Thank you to Big 10, especially Bobby! My car battery died today while shopping at Costco. Costco didn’t have any jumper cables so I called a couple companies first. The wait was going to be 3 hours minimum…but I called Big 10 even though I was in Coralville. The staff was friendly and helpful and said because it was so cold out she would get someone there right away. Bobby came and saved the day! I felt so bad and embarrassed but Bobby was super kind and so helpful. He quickly got my battery back running and gave me great advice on how to approach getting a new battery. He was also super helpful and kind in explaining how I need to run the car for a while and not to turn it off right away so it could charge.
I was in such a pickle today. I’m so glad Big 10 and Bobby were able to help…AND FAST! Very much appreciated! Thanks again Big 10!
