Joe’s confiscated my vehicle illegally. The manager of my apartment has proof. I went to get my car and they charged me $300 cash. When I called them they didn’t say I needed cash but when I showed up they had an ATM. By Iowa law they did not have the authority to take my car. Some other silly tennet had called them and claimed that the space I was parked in was theirs (it was not). On their contract, the contract they allegedly showed Joe’s, it says that a towing company needs permission to tow from the property manager or owner. Which Joe’s did not have. They refused to give me my money back and they didn’t seem to want to give me my receipt either. I called the police and talked to them. I’m first going to call the civil department and speak to them. I can possibly take it to small claims court. Why can’t people just be honest and admit they were wrong.
Fantastic and friendly. Joe helped me with a one-off heavy lifting job (compressor) on-site safely and smartly like you done it a thousand times before, and he didn't even know who I was. Will definitely hire whenever needed. Highly recommend. Thanks Joe I've been waiting for someone like you to defeat people like Big Ten. (Not that you have to, stay nimble stay strong).
Very disappointed with the service and illegally towing vehicles. Per my lease agreements tenants are not given the authority to have vehicles towed. Joe's quick tow responded to a tenants call to have another tenants car towed from a unmarked parking spot, which is not authorized. More so, per Iowa law, you cannot take vehicles from private property without property owner consent. Joe's made no contact with me before having the vehicle towed. After contacting them and being hung up on, I brought my lease agreement into their office, where they still refused to return funds for the illegal, unauthorized tow. Would like to see more competent business practices, as one of the last morally fair Jonhson County landlords.
Really came through when I needed the help. If you have e an AWD, I wouldn't call anyone else if you want someone who cares as much as you do about your car. These guys are amazing.

These guys are PHENOMENAL!! They showed up in under 15 minutes, and saved my husband from sitting in the heat for who knows how long. The driver was polite, efficient and friendly. Horrible. My fiancé called over an hour and half ago about someone illegally parked in our spot we pay for in our apartment complex and they said they would send someone out, we sent them our lease agreement and information and they never came. He tried calling several times and they never got back to us. So I then tried calling since he wouldn’t answer my fiancé’s calls and got a 5 second response I could barely understand that basically told me to go away. Wasted our time and was extremely unhelpful. Would absolutely not recommend for a late night tow, go with Big Ten.
Very sweet people. Was available on early Sunday morning. I had myself and 6 children and they even brought a second vehicle to get us to the tire company. I really appreciate you all!!
I have called Joe's a couple times when people have parked in my spot in downtown Iowa City. They never disappoint: extremely fast and professional service even at odd hours... I would recommend them to anyone. I haven't had to use their services for my own car yet but the next time I am in a pinch they will be my first call.
Joe’s Quick Tow was a total lifesaver! I got a flat tire a little after midnight, and he showed up within 30 minutes, super quick and professional. He was really nice, got the spare on fast, and made a stressful situation way easier. Definitely recommend!

After waiting over 3 hours for another company that was dispatched through my insurance company for Roadside Assistance only to have them cancel the service call with no notice Joe's Quick Tow came to the rescue in less than 20 minutes. They were prompt, courteous and worked with billing my insurance company so I had no out of pocket expense. I highly recommend Joe and his team.
My experience was quick and easy. I had called at 2am and got an answer within seconds! I lost my car keys somewhere in downtown, Iowa city and needed my car removed from the parking ramp. The guy that arrived explained to me the process and I instantly knew my Mercedes was in good hands. He got my car out quickly and took it to the dealership after I made my payment. The whole process took about half an hour. I could not recommend them enough!! Seriously, thank you so much!!!
This guy is a legit awesome guy, not only did they get my car towed fast and cheap but also have me two free lug nuts I've been missing for a year now for free! You can't beat that I recommend this place before any other in Iowa city
What a great service. I was stuck on the side of the road with a trailer behind my truck, my son and my 130 lb cane Corso. Came and got me quickly, were super professional and flexible with my complex situation and price was very fair, even though he could have raked me over the coals.

Had an unfortunate incident tonite when my car blew a steer tire and went off the road and Joe came out and towed it back to his shop and fixed it up for me. I live an hour away and he made sure it was fixed and safe for me to drive home. His response time is impeccable! And he had my car out of the ditch/median in no time flat! He was very quick and efficient. Thank you Joe! You’re the best! 100/100 wouldn’t be enough to rate you and your service!

Power steering went out, and the car was stuck in an awkward spot. The guys showed up really quickly, probably around 15 minutes or so, after I called and got the car loaded up like it was nothing. Didn't charge extra for mileage since we were within their area. Hopefully we won't need them again anytime soon, but I'd use them again if we did!
Joe was so easy to communicate with and understood all the issues that we were having. He took out a truck and a trailer for us the same day we sent him the information on the vehicles. I really appreciate all the work that he did and can't wait to work with him in the future.
Arrived quickly after calling, and cheaper than other companies. When we were picked up, Joe was super friendly and accommodating. We had been outside awhile so he let us into his truck while he hooked up our car and drove us to the mechanic. We had some issues with my card not going through and he was patient while we figured it out. Overall, made a stressful situation feel a little less dooming.
Our son bought an '87 RV at an auction with a unique 5th wheel hitch on it. We could not find ANYONE that could help us get it to our house. I called Joe's Quick Tow and spoke with Angelo, who said they were going to finish working on a hitch they had, that day, and would take care of us! They came through with flying colors! The driver, Joe, was amazing! He even pulled it down a narrow back alley for us and backed it into our backyard exactly where we wanted it, maneuvering trees and fences. His skills were out of this world! This was by far the best experience and I recommend them to anyone needing ANY kind of towing service! They can tow anything! Joe’s Quick Tow was a life saver! I broke down just off the interstate and they were able to help. They were easy to contact and showed up quicker than the estimated time I was given when I called. The gentleman was quick and efficient with his work, and had me towed to the nearest dealership in no time. The gentleman also made sure that I had someone was coming to get me soon because he didn’t want me to have to wait alone in the cold. The customer service I received was top notch! I hope that I don’t need a tow again, but if I do, I will be calling Joe’s.
We were stranded for 3 1/2 hours today on a highway shoulder (lost our engine) in our car waiting for a AAA tow. I called joes's Quick Towing and he rescued us within the next hour. We are so grateful for his help. He was kind, friendly and stopped at a Casey's for us to use the restroom and get a snack. He drove us 45 miles to our dealer and drove us home after we dropped the car. I would highly recommend Joe and this company if you ever need a tow.
