Corinna brought out testers to check the battery on our 79 Jeep. Then tested the starter and the alternator. She was excellent in her knowledge of the equipment and "knew what she was finding".

Would be nice if someone knew something without having to check with the computer. Also....New update.....the price matching thing they claim is bogus.....if it's against a store in Oelwein or Indy....."maybe" they will do . But a store in like Cedar Falls or Waterloo.......they will not ! This is bogus. We are not talking about competing against a store in say like Nebraska or Illinois....just 30 miles away or more and they won't do it. People.....check out places like Recall here in Oelwein and Rock Auto online....BOTH have better/cheaper prices AND they both have people who KNOW cars. Have a good day. 👍

Update : busy af, waited half hour for an oil filter, but got expensive one for price of cheap one.
They didn’t have the size I needed for the passenger side wiper and the computer that tells you what size to get only has the very expensive ones on it. Not paying 35 bucks for one wiper blade. Went to another store and paid 8 bucks for a rainx blaid that oriellys was charging 25 bucks. Ridiculous!!!
Out of state and had to work on family members vehicle. Having an account with O'Reilly always makes it easier to get jobs done but the friendliness of any and all staff in every store made the decision to do business with the company much easier.
So it's a chain auto parts store. Looks just like the one in Raleigh, NC or Denver, CO. So there is nothing unique about this one but it is clean, the staff is trained and helpful, and they do a 24 hour turnaround on most items not in stock. Prices are on the high side compared to other parts stores in town.
Note to all women(or men sending women in) avoid James/Jim(older gentleman) at all costs. He rudely admitted he "hates when men send their wives in looking for something, because they NEVER know what they are looking for! And I could send you out the door with $500 worth of the wrong things and you wouldn't have any idea." Even though I knew what I needed(fuses) AND I had a picture of them.🙄
Editing to add- apparently James/Jim is generally unpleasant to deal with on a regular basis
they were awesome. Provided me with a funnel showed me how to install what I needed, and allowed me to wash my hands when I was done so I didn't have oil on them.
O'Reilly says there open till 5:00 but that's not so they also don't answer there phone either tried to call as I was on my way no answer at 4:45 get there at 4:55 someone's in there but the doors locked if you would've answered your phone you could've saved me time and gas so to finish you actually close at 4:30 on Sunday please correct its rude if your not gonna help people till 5 then close at 4:30 thanks
