First time there 1/13/26 for lunch and it was the best food and service I’ve had for years! Was so impressed and excited to tell others about this amazing place! Going to plan on reserving tables for my birthday celebration with friends in February! Can’t wait!??
Very few places you can find decent fried center cut cod, but you can find it here! I don't know if it's frozen or fresh, all I know is I get my fried cod fix here!
This place checks all of the boxes when it comes to meeting expectations. The menu offered many choices and were reasonably priced. Speaking for our party of 14, the food and service were GREAT!
The food was great. Ive never seen such slow and non caring service. We sat at the bar for 5 to 10 minutes three different times before anyone served us. As a bartender, this blows my mind.
I had the codfish meal with mashed potatoes and gravy. The fish was excellent, potatoes were real and good, side salad was excellent, and the green beans seemed fresh right out of a garden. Not overcooked and a little crunchy.
Fantastic experience especially since the waitress had her back against the wall.
Completely full and just her. Food for 10 was Fantastic and very reasonable on the portions and price. Can't wait for a return trip
Stopped here for lunch. Upon arrival A couple eating at the bar and a couple at a booth which already had their food.
I ordered a Rueben, which had barely a teaspoon of sauerkraut or thousand Island dressing on it. So Sat and waited for the waitress for over 15 minutes And finally I asked the other waitress if our waitress had went home?
When Waitress finally came back to check on us, she asked if we wanted something made differently and I told her “yes about 15 minutes ago, but she hadn’t been back to check on us.” She never apologized. She just made the excuse. that she was busy … because she had to get all the other tables, which was ONLY one other table of 5!
I ended up having my side salad and a few FF for lunch! They ended up taking my sandwich off of the order, but I would say the service here is ridiculous. When there was a total of eight people there the entire time we were there…. we will definitely not be returning! The first and only other time eating here, I ordered the catfish, which we waited for our food for over a half an hour, then my catfish was not even done! So had to wait for another one to be cooked…… very disappointed on the dinner the first visit , then AGAIN on our second time, with one of the easiest sandwiches to make.
It’s overpriced for the quality of food you get. Both times here were very disappointing!!!!!
We may have gone at the wrong time but we waited for 10min to be seated while waitresses just chatted with each other at the bar and once seated we waited 15 minutes before we just up and left. Heard stories about the amazing food, just wish we had a chance to try it.
Surprisingly nice and spacious place to find in such a small town. Clean and airy interior. Attentive waitress. My only complaint is that the egg rolls were served lukewarm. Very good burger and fries, though. If I'm ever in Yarmouth again, I'll certainly eat there.
Service and food were good. Nice menu variety. The actual menus are in need of replacement; overused and felt unclean. Overall I enjoy the drive and feel it is worth dining there. I still miss the outdoor dining experience that has been enclosed.
They always have great food, great service, and great people there from the local small towns. All the cheeseburgers are good, the fries are amazing, the ranch is top tier, the steaks are awesome, there is nothing bad there.
Hands down amazing. I’ve traveled a lot over the last 20 years and this place has the best onion rings, fried mushrooms, cheese curds, and cauliflower I have ever had. That’s just a starter, the pork tenderloin is not flat like most places, last night I had the Cordon Bleu sandwich and the flavor was over the top.
Stopped for a quick lunch with my husband and 2 boys. Place was clean, and well decorated. They use a lot of old town history photos so that's cool. Staff were pleasant and polite. Food was really delicious. I had the ultimate ham and cheese and it was great. Definitely will return.
Omg it was AMAZING food!! A large portions. Was reasonably priced. Also, our waitress was the only one and so many tables were full. She did an awesome job !! She needs a rsise!!! The way the restaurant was decorated and designed was very entertaining also.
Had the meatloaf special and it was cold. They close at 8:30 and we arrived at 7:30. The waitress said that they were having issues with warmer! Offered to reheat it for me but didn't trust meat that had not been properly kept. Also the vegetable beef soup was cold. Might try them again but won't ever order the special.
We had a group of 5 adults, 2 toddlers, and an infant. It took a very long time to get the drinks, much longer to get the food and it was just warm enough. I wouldn't say they were crazy busy. The food tasted good though. Today was just not their day.
Very nice looking place out in the middle of nowhere. Good service and everything we tried was tasty. Chicken soup was a little salty other then that no complaint's. Definitely will come back again to try more of the menu.
We got the tenderloin at this restaurant, we were there as part of a bike ride. A little too heavily breaded and greasy, for my liking. And for being out on a bike ride for a hot day. We'll be coming back, and I'll be trying something else. The atmosphere was great, the waitress was great. I think I just made a poor choice in food for the day
This is an outstanding small town bar/grill!! They provide excellent food, atmosphere, and service that takes the dining experience up a notch when comparing it to other small town restaurants. Today we had fish n chips. Excellent!! High quality cod presented in a way that makes you glad you ordered it. I wish I had taken a picture. Yarmouth Filling Station Restaurant has become a new favorite of ours! Highly recommend you give it a try!
I didn't actually eat here, but joined a couple buddies for lunch. Everything was very presentable and had a nice theme to it, lots to look at! Granid we were the only three people in the place, the waitress was great and their food looked awesome. I want to go back for a meal sometime. It's in a very inconvenient location, which is my guess as to why it's not that popular.
Very good food and nice atmosphere. Bartender was pleasant to talk with. I ordered the club and it was huge! It could feed 3 people. My father ordered the un-breaded tenderloin and it was tender and seasoned just perfect. I will go back and I would recommend others.
