We stopped at Brickyard on our way home from a wrestling tournament in Des Moines. Service was fast and friendly and the prices are very reasonable for the portion size.
We got onion rings and cheese curds as starters and they were both amazing but the homemade onion rings were some of the best I've ever had. People in our party ordered sliders, wings and the pork tenderloin and all items came out piping hot and flavorful. It's definitely worth the stop if you're in the area!
My husband, our two children and myself checked The Brickyard out this past Sunday. We were all super impressed with the food – everything was delicious! Additionally, the service was great and we did not feel like we were rocking the boat by having our small kids there. We look forward to coming back! My husband had the brisket, mac & cheese pizza, and I had the breaded chicken sandwich. Both were great. My daughter had mini corn dogs and fries and this was delicious. My favorite thing that they had on the drink menu was the Moscow Mule flight… The coconut and lime one is to die for! Thank you for a great experience!
So good! Lots of choices on the menu. It was difficult to choose because everything sounded good. We chose the tenderloin and the catfish fingers. Delicious!
One of the best burgers I've had in my life. I ordered the Barnyard burger without the egg. I went there based on a friend's recommendation. I was in great company, with excellent food and friendly, attentive service. I will definitely return on my next trip. Hmm, it was delicious.
Food was ok, service wasn't very good, had to get up and get my own refill. Ad far as the atmosphere I couldn't hardly hear the person sitting next to me in conversation.
Great service, amazing appetizers, and a huge beer and drink selection. You can't go wrong stopping by here and accidentally spending a couple hours enjoying the place. Definitely somewhere we'll stop whenever we're in the area, or even make the 2 hour motorcycle ride over from Nebraska just to come back again!
Food was ok, nothing great but not bad. Our drinks and food were brought out by different waiters than our main one. My drink wasn't mixed right,they said the second one was the same as the first but it was very obviously made different the second time. It was also very loud.
We got the tenderloin basket and a popper burger and ended up splitting the tenderloin sandwich and saving the burger for later. The tenderloin was very tender and absolutely the best fried pork ive ever had. The popper burger has the most amazing pepper bacon jam ive ever had.
Was there on first date, got food, gave us a box and ticket. Did not ask if wanted another drink or dessert. We left and went somewhere else. Felt like shoved us out. Mac pizza had no sauce we asked for bbq to give it flavor.
We just stopped by for dinner. Since it’s a beautiful evening we were hoping to eat on the patio. We asked a server if they were serving on the patio and she said yes. She watched us walk out there. We sat out there for about 15 minutes and no one came out to take our order so we left. Unfortunately this has happened before. They have such a nice patio and good food, they need more staff.
We stopped here on a whim as we were in town. Reviews seemed good! My husband got the Barnyard burger and said was really good. I got the cheeseburger with fries and this was just okay - the lettuce was brown so didn't eat it. The fries with my burger, I think my sons kid meal had more than mine. The kids got a pizza $6.99 (which I think is a little high) and my son got the cheeseburger. Overall it was good, we would come back.
I got the jalapeño popper burger. It was great. There was a bit of spice but not overwhelming. The pepper jelly was a nice, sweet touch. My husband enjoyed his Barnyard Burger. Our service was good and there wasn't a crazy wait
Lunch with girlfriends. I had the avocado burger with cottage cheese on the side and wow was it good! Service was great. Lots of smiles and checking to ensure we are ok. Prices nice! My go to place 100%!
We had quick and friendly service! The waitress was very sweet! The food was absolutely amazing! The macaroni was kid tested and mother approved! She said it was the best she’s ever had. She even told the waitress, “WE WILL BE BACK AGAIN!”
Stopped here to watch a basketball game and were very pleased!! The staff, pizza, and drinks were great!! We were there until it was close to closing time. These ladies cleaned the whole place and it smelled so good. They were working so hard! Before we left, we helped them put chairs on tables so they could mop. Overall, I couldn't have been more impressed. Highly recommend a clean place with great pizza!
Great Food!!! I hab the brisket quesadillas and Jane had the Avocado Chicken Wrap with fries. Ruthie and a Jack and Diet Coke, Ha!Eight Below Zero today for a High in Iowa!
Nice place to grab a beer and a bite. Had catfish fingers and philly . Fries could have been hotter, but all had good flavor. Will stop by again when out in Adel
This place is our go to. It’s quickly become a town staple. The wait for your food can be a tish long, everyone is so understaffed right now…. But SO worth it! Huge menu, tons of beer on tap, full bar, fun staff!!! The burgers are DELECTABLE. The taco pizza is the bomb. I haven’t eaten anything there I don’t like.
One of the best in town! If you haven't tried the brisket Mac & cheese pizza then you are missing out on a slice of heaven. Whether dining in or out you can have a fantastic time with delicious food.
Great burgers and brews. My only recommendation would be to have an up to date, simple menu of the beers on tap with a brief description of all beers. The staff often did not know details about the beers, but they do offer tastes which makes up for it.
