I own a towing company too. Had one of my trucks involved in an accident. Called them to tow my roolback. Showed up in a timely manner, did a great job. Highly recommend them for your towing needs.
Had to call for a tow at around 1am and the experience was as stress-free as could be. Both the dispatcher and tow driver were fantastic, kind, and extremely helpful. They were on the road within 5 minutes, and got to the location right on time.
I have no complaints; for the 24-hour towing options in the Clinton area, Schmidt is the best experience I’ve had with a tow. The price was slightly under average, which was very nice. Overall, I would highly recommend supporting this business, its employees, and feel as though their service was excellent!
Sons car went down an embankment called Schmidt towing came a soon as they could. Took along time to get his car out of the snow. They worked hard and overtime while in the cold cold to get his car out. Great guys, wonderful service. I definitely Recommend them.
My son put his car off the road in a very inaccessible area. These guys busted their asses getting him out, and did a great job. They went above and beyond what was expected even jumping his car and dealing with other difficulties.The price was very reasonable. I wouldn't look anywhere else if you're looking for a tow, someone to pull you out, or any of the other services they offer.
These guys are amazing!! So helpful, friendly and did what it took to get our Jeep out of the garage, loaded, & towed to the dealership despite the cold and snow. They went above and beyond! Best tow company around!! Car was dead in the water and he could have towed it and charged me a tow bill. But he put a jump pack on it and it fired right up.
Schmidt towing is absolutely the best around. Had a flat tire this morning and they came and helped me in everyway possible. Went above and beyond with their service even helped me with a jump start while here. Extremely satisfied with the services provides and highly recommend to anyone in the area or surrounding areas.
Dylan was VERY fast helping me get a tow from Moline back to Clinton after my tie rod broke. They were also able to help me with repairs and were efficient and provide quality service. Stand up guys, great customer service and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend Schmidt for towing or auto repairs.
Early this morning 1/24/25 my car stahled on the side of the highway 2 1/2 miles from my house. It became real cold real fast. I put my call into AAA and we made several calls to friends, with no luck.. after setting there 35 minutes still no word from AAA, I called Schmidts towing and the owner himself took the service call and was there in the amount of time he said he would be and towed us the 2 miles to my house and dropped us off. He gave me a good deal on the cost of the tow and was certainly very nice, understanding, and caringly concerned about us and my small dog who was with us. Thank you again so much, your # will be the 1st I dial when I need any kind of assistance alongside the road!!
Highly recommend! Very timely on getting to you, friendly, and are in it for the right reasons - helping people! They care about the customer and treat the vehicles very well while in their care. Our area is lucky to have Schmidt Towing.
Hands down would give a 20/5 stars if I could! The owner himself showed up and was very helpful with his outside the box thinking to get my car home without further damage. When I say he was surgical with the drop of my vehicle, he literally dropped it in the garage... Thank you again. I appreciate you, sir!

Hands down the best towing company around! They are always prompt and efficient. Very friendly people and owner always goes above and beyond. We had a very difficult area to squeeze into and they made it happen with no issues. We are very happy with their service every time, Schmidt towing is always our first call!!
Needed my 4WD towed to the tire shop, Schmidt answered the phone right away, stuck to his quote, arrived exactly when he said he would, very friendly. Job done at a fair price. I will use his service in the future and highly recommend him.
