If there are vehicles on the scale, wait in the lot across the street. Scale in, park, and hand BOL to shipping clerk. Dock is easy enough to get to for a live unload. In and out in around an hour depending on who's ahead of you.
Occasionally been selling scrap here for last 20 years. Follow the signs, speed limit; ask anyone questions if need help. All the staff great help. 1st come 1st serve and they got the equipment to get you unloaded fast. They sweep the driveway often. Top notch place.
Make sure u got plenty of time food etc....showed up at 11am gave me run around..take hour lunch finally put me in dock at 2pm pulled out 18 min later 4 half load waited 1 hr for paperwork 4pm done..couldn't go home because of stupidity...beware
My younger brother took in bronze aluminum turnings, and not knowing any better was given brass turnings price. He said they tested the contents and said it was brass. So either their test is being done wrong or some one working there is pocketing money. Extremely disappointed. From 280.00 to 37.00. That’s quite the difference.
Got here at noon, entire place shuts down for an hour lunch, finally got loaded and now waiting another 30 minutes for paperwork... Been here 2hrs now and still waiting. Even the Macaw is stressed out.....
Waited over 90 min because they wouldn't load me before lunch. Arrived at 11.33am and they started on me at 1:10. Ridiculous, who gets hour lunch breaks? I'll be here for over 3 hours now and I'll be lucky to get home tonight thanks to electric logs. They don't care their bellies are full and they'll be punching out on time and sleeping in there own bed, while I have to pull over short of the house cause of the stupid computer in my truck.
