DO NOT RECOMMEND, paid for a CAT swap, was supposed to be fresh rebuilt with ALL Cat parts. He LIED. Aftermarket cam failed in 30k miles. Oil leaks everywhere from day 1. Motor needed rebuild at 70k miles. I had to pay for parts on the rebuild even when it was under warranty. Half donkey work from him and the mechanics that work there. Once rebuilt same deal… oil leaks everywhere. No bolts were torqued, impact gun to tighten every bolt.. poor wire management, no quality control, says it will be done at a certain day and month later still not done.. constant problems till this day, spent thousands of dollars with other repair shops to fix his half ss work ofcourse he will no longer answer the phone. HES A LIAR, and his mechanics are shade tree mechanics. I’ve been nothing but nice and patient with the guy. Money paid when he asks! No BS from me. Ask around iowa and you will hear the stories about this shop. I wish I asked before I went there!

What a wonderful company. The owner is so helpful. If you need any diesel tech work in the area of Lansing, you are missing out if you do not stop here.

I was in Lansing over the weekend and ran into car trouble. Since I’m not from town I was pretty worried but Boeau and Greg came to my rescue and I was back on the road quicker then I expected!!!

If I could give negative stars I would. This man overhauled an engine on the truck that I now own. I purchased this rig with barely even 20k miles on its fresh overhaul. It now has 75k miles on the overhaul. The overhaul was done 4/26/21 and today is 12/3/21. The turbo began passing oil through the charge air cooler. The engine is also getting oil into the coolant. These issues are currently being diagnosed at another repair facility. I called this man right around 2 weeks ago about these issues because the paperwork says right on it that there is a 18 month warranty on parts. Listed on the parts list of this paperwork is the turbo he installed. He claimed the turbo was a deal he made with the previous owner for a discounted price by allowing the previous owner to trade in his turbo for a reduced price on the new turbo and said he would not warranty the turbo but would look at manufacturer warranty and see if they would. Ducked my calls ever since. It’s been 2 weeks. Finally after ducking my call again, he texts me saying to take my truck problems up with the previous owner. Refusing to honor any warranty on the turbo. Regardless of the deal made with the previous owner for a discounted price, this turbo is listed on the overhaul paperwork. On this paperwork it says warranty on parts for 18 months. Does not state any exclusions. Sounds like I might have to take this man to court. Save yourself the hassle and go to someone that is more reputable and backs their work.
