From the time I hung up the phone to my car being pulled out of the mud, I think maybe 10 minutes had gone by! And it was 9pm on a week night. Highly recommend!
i was stranded in Terre haute, In. car troubles for 2 almost 2 weeks. they are from my home town, came and picked me up and brought my vehicle to my service people that i trust.
the apostolic church, (which i treasure so many people that i have met there) i call my home church, but I've been ill and don't get to go physically that often: but on online often. hallelujah.
my go to service team is expert transmission in Bluffton Indiana. dropped my vehicle right off there.
Freemans towing, best towing. customer service is above excellent. people skills, excellent for long hauls.
arrived on time, good driver. triple AAA service.
2 star only because they did a good job painting my wife's truck in the past.
They do good work, but that's it.
They were rude to my wife when they painted her truck. The wife didn't want me to go back. I let that slide not knowing the context.
Being a loyal guy with places I do business with,
I took my jeep there today to get an estimate on some body and paint recall work.
The guy Lonie was a complete ahole from the second I walked in the door.
I said that I'd like to get an estimate on some body work. He looked insulted and said okaaay? Literally rolling his eyes!
I wasn't trying to negotiate the price or anything. I just wanted an estimate.
He was acting like I was wasting his time frustrated that I'd dare disturb him.
He came outside and looked at it for 30 seconds and
He said:
"You'll need to talk to Mike (the owner).
This isn't work we do. We only do insurance claims"
He told me Mike is gone, but you can wait for him.
No, "come in and have a seat." Or a time frame Mike will be gone. Didn't bother to call Mike or nothing, He just walks back inside.
I waited for ten minutes and then went right down the road to another shop that treated me like a customer and got started on an estimate right away.
Came home and found out from the wife that this was the same guy who treated her like she was an inconvenience and rude.
I own a business and completely understand dealing with bad customers, I can assure you that we were not a problem customer.
I wasn't even getting other estimates. I just wanted a quote and would've been happy to pay for it.
I don't know what exactly Lonie does around that place to generate income for the business, but he lost a lifelong customer with strong referral influence with me. Lonie has no business communicating with customers. Stick him in a back room someplace out of harms way, which would be my suggestion.
Another suggestion:
Put Freeman's on the North building.
Having a sign on the south building that says:
"If not here go to north building" is great, but the north building looks like it could be a different business altogether. Having Freeman's on it seems like a good way to help customers.
Brought my 2023 Acura in after we hit a dear. Great price, great people and it looked better than new when they were done. Will definitely go back (but hopefully not too soon).
I didn’t even wait 10 minutes after calling and the truck was by. He had another car to drop off and was back within another 10 to get me. Fast and friendly service.

Fast, friendly, and affordable! They ended up having to tow my van twice because the first place they took it couldn't fix it. It was a pleasant surprise when they said they'd only charge me once!
After getting out of the hospital from the accident that he towed my vehicle from. Mr Freeman refused me access to my vehicle to retrieve my heart medication that I urgently need. It was 6:30pm. He agreed to meet me at 6am next morning and told I had to wait and also pay the tow bill. Charged $300 for 11 miles tow! Outrageous price. Poor customer service!

Great guy! Was in a narly accident and couldn't get up there right away and had to get my junk #life out of my car, He let me come up and get my junk. Then let me come back and get my license plate. It was a really bad situation and he made it less bad and I appreciate it! Thank You!!
Our vehicle was hit by a deer. Entire left side was damaged. Freeman's did an awesome repair and paint. Car looks great. Recommend anyone needing body work to talk with them.

Last few times I've tried using him he's been unreliable! Always an excuse on why he can't help us out anymore. I used to recommend him left and right, not now!
