I usually hate buying cars from dealerships, but this was one of the better car buying experiences I’ve had.
They were upfront about pricing, didn’t add any hidden fees, and there was zero pressure to make a sale. Everyone was friendly, gave me space to check out and drive the car on my own, and answered all my questions.
Overall, I feel like I got a good deal and would recommend them.Feb 13, 2026 -
We just bought a 2026 Honda CRV-Hybrid . We worked with Javen and Nate who were both great at their jobs. We had narrowed down to 2 vehicles (one was another brand).
Throughout the process Javen was good at answering questions and providing us 2 test drives to make our final decision.
Overall the entire staff at this dealership seem to be very responsive and helpful.
We would consider buying another care here in the future.Feb 13, 2026 -
Told them over the phone my car had 3 different lights pop up, VSA, power steering, and ABS. They told me multiple times that it would be $170 for a diagnostic fee and I very thoroughly told them what the problems were and after I drop my car off and leave they tell me I would have to pay $170 per light they diagnose. I should’ve learned my lesson the first time I took my car there and they couldn’t even figure out how to start it because you have to push the clutch in to start in because it’s manual. Would never recommend taking your car to this dealer to get any work done.

As a first time purchaser I was initially anxious and overwhelmed by my car search, Karim made these anxieties go away quickly. Best, most genuine customer service I have experienced in a while. As someone who only knew I wanted carplay, Karim took the time to find a vehicle that had everything I wanted and within a reasonable budget. Between Nathan and Karim there was no BS, simply upfront conversations about our wants and needs. Both Nathan and Karim had excellent customer service, and made the decision to purchase our Honda Accord 10x easier. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle!

We had a very good experience and Javen Wright was a good knowledgeable salesmen and very helpful. I just wish the buying process was faster start to finish.

THIS a comical STEALERSHIP.
I brought my vehicle in on Monday for a routine transmission oil change to someone on 1/26/26. The following day I did not drive the car, as my classes were online and there were snow storm warnings. I noticed that on Wednesday (the 28th) the remote start did not work, but I thought it was because of a low battery in the key. When starting the car up again on Wednesday, my check engine light was on and it stated there were emission issues. So I connected the dots immediately and took it back the next day (1/29/26).
MIND YOU, both of these issues have never surfaced since I've owned my 2020 Honda Civic. And I service my car myself, but I am an out-of-state student, so I decided to let them service it for the first time after 70K miles with no issues.
I went back to the stealership for an explanation, but I got NO reasonable answer.
So, I will most likely take it elsewhere to figure out what was tampered with. I vow to never use stealerships again.
Also, let me tell you that you may get away with it 99 times. But all it takes is 1 occurrence to nullify all that which you have cheated and stolen.Jan 30, 2026 -
Karim was amazing to work with! He was kind, caring, understanding, and appreciative. He made the whole process so easy and answered any questions I had. Being from out of town, he was willing to jump on a phone call to explain the process and next steps. He is a great salesman who is very knowledgeable and helpful. Can’t recommend him enough. The whole dealership was so kind and friendly. 10/10 your new go to!!

If you need a new vehicle, this is your dealership and Tyler Francis is your go-to guy! Everyone here takes wonderful care of the customer, but from personal experience, Tyler goes above and beyond.
We have been working with Tyler for 4 years and 2 vehicles. Each time he makes sure we are 100% satisfied.
Recently, I had to make a claim with my vehicle using the protection package he recommended we purchase. This was the smartest decision we ever made. It saved us over $600. We needed assistance with the claim and Tyler jumped right in and helped. This was obviously not something he had to do, but he was willing to not only make phone calls to assist, but followed up to ensure we were taken care of. This is just one example of the type of service he provides. Go see him, you won’t be sorry you did.Jan 19, 2026 -
Derrick was very professional and friendly. He and the finance manager made buying a car a painless process. Would definitely buy from here again.

I bought a 2015 Subaru Forester in April of 2025 outright for $12,000 then 30 days after purchasing they said I needed a new control valve body which I paid over $3,000 and they flushed all my fluids. 7 months later in December of 2025 I took it to Bob Rohrman because of a dash light being thrown while on a long drive. I took it into the shop and they didn’t see the code that was throne. When I left, 7 minutes down the road every light came on the dash. I brought it back to Bob Rohrman and they read the code. 3 technicians were looking at my vehicle. Then a service writer came to me and told me that I needed to take it to Subaru because they didn’t want to put their hands in it and “guess what’s wrong.” Then they made me drive my vehicle out of the service area knowing there were issues deep in my transmission. While traveling to Subaru my car took a serious toll and was shuddering and unsafe to be in. Upon inspection at Subaru it was said that I needed a whole new transmission that would cost $9,000 and they said that my vehicle did not have the correct amount of transmission fluid and there was no leaks. Meaning that Bob Rohrman did not fill it correctly. I was supposed to have a meeting to discuss more with the general manager Friday at 4:30 and he was not there. I was told he was supposed to call me Saturday morning and I did not receive a phone call. Within 8 months of purchase I was out over $15,000.

I had a mixed experience at Rohrman Honda and wouldn't recommend shopping here for a used car.
Good
Pricing was upfront. They did not try to add on any fees. I appreciated that the salesman didn't waste my time during negotiations.
Cons
After agreeing to purchase, it took almost 3 hours to get out the door. I didn't finance the car, so this process should have been much quicker. The car was supposed to be cleaned and topped with fluids, but it was not. I also found damage to the door that was hidden because the car was dirty when I looked at it. I brought this up after the fact, but they refused to do anything to help. I ended up spending $1,500 to get it fixed myself.
Overall, if you buy here, make sure to look the vehicle over in detail and have it washed first.Dec 30, 2025 -
I wish we had talked with others in the area before going here to look at vehicles. We found exactly what we wanted and they were very nice about everything! Once the papers were signed, everything changed. The GM, Todd Dunwoody, went as far as to say that none of the issues were his problem. When state laws were mentioned, his response was, "Who cares?!?" By the way, this was all recorded and will be turned in to the state. We were unable to license our vehicle before the temp tags ran out, and they promised us over and over again that they would get our temps tags extended because it was their fault that our title work was not complete. We have a leaking windshield, so I took it in to the service department only to receive a voicemail that states Todd declined to "opt in" on a warranty repair. We were promised several things to make this deal happen, which they refused to put in writing (but is all recorded). They refuse to do anything at all. Between knowing now about what they did to the Purdue student and how they treat customers once papers are signed, I really hope people stop shopping there and at all Rohrman Auto Group dealerships! If you see this, screenshot it because one of their salesmen has confirmed they pay Google to remove bad reviews. Soon you will see one of their standard replies about contacting their Rohman CARES department. Since I already have and they refuse to return calls, remember that the Rohrman family cares about MONEY, not their customers.......

Justin Curry at Bob Rohrman Honda was absolutely amazing to work with. From start to finish, he was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure I had the best possible experience. There was zero pressure—just honest guidance and great communication throughout the entire process. Justin truly puts his customers first, and it shows. I will definitely be going back to him and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a smooth, trustworthy car-buying experience.

I had an excellent experience working with Karim when purchasing a new vehicle for my wife. He truly went above and beyond to make the experience smooth and enjoyable for her. Karim was patient, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, and never once made us feel pressured. His professionalism and care really stood out. I highly recommend Karim to anyone looking for a stress-free and positive car-buying experience.

Absolute Failure in Customer Service and Integrity: Avoid Rohrman of Lafayette
We purchased a 2022 Honda CR-V from another dealer (previously owned, 6,000 miles) and I called a few dealers including Rohrman of Lafayette in advance to schedule the first oil change for my collegiate daughter. I spoke with Kim, who was knowledgeable and courteous, and explained this was my daughter’s first solo service experience, emphasizing our goal was routine maintenance.
The resulting service visit was nothing short of appalling, demonstrating highly questionable sales tactics and a complete breakdown of management accountability.
1. Unnecessary Upselling to a New Customer
While my daughter was waiting, the service team attempted to persuade her into expensive, arguably unnecessary work on a nearly-new vehicle (12,000 miles). This included:
* Suggesting an alignment at only 12,000 miles.
* Quoting $85 in labor for a $5 part related to a tire issue.
2. Sales Solicitation
The most frustrating incident occurred while the car was in service. A member of the sales team texted my daughter soliciting her to sell or trade in her recently acquired Honda CR-V—the very car I had called ahead about and informed them we had just purchased! This blatant disregard for customer history and intrusive sales pressure while the car was on the lift is unacceptable.
3. Management and Refund Failure: Abysmal Integrity and Resolution
The subsequent attempts to resolve the issue with management were a complete disaster, destroying any chance of customer retention.
A. The Runaround and Lie:
After four ignored contacts (voicemails and emails), General Manager Todd finally agreed to process a refund on 10/31. When the check failed to arrive, I contacted them again on 11/17. On 11/18 (9:32 pm) Todd apologized, claimed the issue had "fallen through the cracks," and stated he had personally gone down to get the check sent out.
B. The Timeline Deception:
When the check finally arrived, it was postmarked 11/24, a full six days later than Todd claimed he had personally gone down to have it sent, confirming that the General Manager was dishonest about the resolution process.
C. The Ridiculous Refund:
I had originally paid $200 for a package of three oil changes. Management refunded only $100, charging me the full, non-discounted price for the single oil change used and entirely negating the value of the prepaid package.
D. Zero Service Recovery:
Despite eight outreaches over two months of management neglect, at no point did Todd or anyone in management offer an apology for the poor service, or state, "We are so sorry this was your experience and would like an opportunity to regain your trust," or offer a full refund to compensate for the horrendous experience. The entire process was treated as a painful bureaucratic chore for them.
Conclusion and WARNING
The individual service staff (Kim and Marcia) were polite and responsive, but the systemic failure of the sales team and the non-responsive, and financial impropriety of the General Manager, Todd, are damning.
My attempt to resolve this simple issue required eight separate outreaches over two months and resulted in a delayed check, an outright lie from management, and a ridiculous refund amount.
Rohrman of Lafayette demonstrated that they do not value customer concerns, retention, or professional courtesy. If you want a fantastic, transparent experience from start to finish, I highly recommend looking at the Indy Honda dealership in Greenwood.
Under no circumstance will I ever return to any Rohrman dealership and encourage anyone reading to take this review seriously before you choose to do business with this team.
A Note to "Rohrman Cares" or Customer Service:
Please do not respond to this thread. Your true behavior has been clearly demonstrated behind closed doors through more than two months of ignored calls, lies about shipping dates, and an insufficient, calculated refund. I have seen how Rohrman truly behaves, and a public, performative response is neither wanted nor necessary.Dec 11, 2025 -

Nice new facility, friendly customer service people…BUT 1 hour 45 minutes to plug a tire! Totally unacceptable!! Simple procedure, took an hour longer than promised!! If I could give a 1/2 star, I would!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIPS!
I bought a 2023 Toyota Camry from here in January of 2024. At the time of the purchase I was presented a clean carfax by Rohrman, and told the vehicle had never been in a crash. Outside of a bumper that didn’t completely snap in place and some small scratches, I was happy with the car. That was until summer rolled around and the A/C in my car did not work. I took it to a mechanic who discovered the cars compressor and condenser were severely damaged. During this inspection they also discovered that a large piece of my bumper that holds the bottom of my car in place was missing.
They concluded that this vehicle had been in a small wreck that was never reported. In that crash they believe the cars compressor/condenser system was damaged and never fixed, along with the bumper that was never replaced.
I contacted Rohrman about this to see if they would cover the cost of a new compressor and confessor, or at least replace the missing parts of the bumper they sold me the car without. Sadly, like many others, I was met with unfriendliness and accusations.
This company negotiated in bad faith and sold me a car they clearly knew was damaged. They sold the car to me with missing parts in the first place. Rohrman will hide behind their “sold as is” policy and pawn the blame off on you.
I thought I was getting a good deal on this car but I have now put nearly two thousand dollars of repairs into it. No help from this company at all, not even an apology. Very disappointing.
Do not take this company at their word. Thoroughly check the car before purchase and run it by a mechanic. I regret not doing it myself.
Thankfully Toyota Corporate stepped up and paid for a new bumper thanks to my 36,000 mile warrant. Rohrman could learn a thing or two about customer service from them.
Would give zero stars to them if I could.
P.S. You can see the broken compressor, missing bumper piece, and dried paint from the crash in the pictures below. And the unhinged bumper.Nov 21, 2025 -
I just bought a used car from Bob Rohrman Honda and I had an EXCELLENT experience. Ethan Smith and Jason Scott handled my sale and they were knowledgeable, professional, and extremely pleasant to work with. You won't find random and undisclosed fees at this dealer - they are forthright and upfront about everything! I live in Chicago, and it just so happened that they had a particular make/model that I was interested in, so I took a gamble and drove down to check it out, and I am extremely glad I did! I had such a mediocre or poor experience with some other places in Chicagoland, and I am so satisfied with my experience with Ethan and Jason, that I guarantee that the next time I am in the market for a vehicle, they will be the first people I ring up.

I had a very disappointing experience with their service. I brought my car in with two issues:
1. The car trembled when I pressed the brake pedal on the highway.
2. The engine stalled when restarting after stopping at an intersection.
Additionally, the dashboard displayed a B17 maintenance error.
For the brake issue, they recommended replacing the brakes, changing the brake fluid (around $1,500), and replacing all four tires ($890). For the stalling issue, they charged $170 for diagnostics but reported no problems—despite this being a known recall issue that was supposedly fixed earlier this year.
When I picked up my car, the B17 error was still showing. They claimed the tires were brand new, but the manufacturing dates were mismatched (one from 3324 and three from 0725), which clearly indicates they were not truly new. The B17 code requires both an engine oil change and wheel alignment. They performed the alignment but did not change the oil, leaving the error message unresolved. I had to go elsewhere to get the oil changed.
Most concerning, the engine stalling problem remains unresolved, and I was told nothing further could be done. After spending over $3,000, I feel the service was unprofessional, incomplete, and left me with ongoing safety concerns.Nov 18, 2025 -
I was recently in a horrible wreck, my previous Honda was totalled, and I was shopping for my next vehicle. The staff at Bob Rohrman were wonderful! I chose a certified, pre-owned 2024 Honda with the amazing help of Derrick, Nathan, Todd and Chris, and am completely happy with that choice!!

Wonderful experience. Justin C was so helpful and knowledgeable. We were not 100% set on purchasing a new vehicle at this time, we just wanted to explore our options . We needed the afternoon taking home our new 2026 CRV. Couldn’t be more happier with our experience.

I had a very good experience with both Mike and Thomas. I spent more time with Mike and he was very accommodating in helping me learn the details of my car ‘s operation. There were some problems getting me a second fob, but with my son’s intervention and his previous acquaintanceship with the gm, Todd Dunwoody, we were able to work those out. I also dealt with an assistant manager. I believe his name was Chris. These interactions were not satisfying. He told me he had taken his fob to Walmart, took out the key inside and had a new regular key made. I went to Walmart and then to Ace and they both said that was impossible unless I wanted a new fob at a cost of several hundred dollars. He also said if he needed a new fob, it would cost him as much as it would me. I doubt that. Having said all that, I truly love my car. I will return to Rohrman’s for service and also when I want to update my CR-V. I will hopefully be able to deal with Mike and Thomas again.

Great experience! Anthony Ramirez the service advisor was very helpful from the start. He listened to my concerns, and was very friendly. He kept me informed every step of the way, and made the process very easy. My vehicle was serviced in a timely manner, and done right. Great job!

Justin Curry is amazing, super knowledgable about every vehicle and all features. He is genuine and not a pushy salesman.
Alexandria in the service department is extremely friendly. I accidentally booked my appointment for the wrong location, and she was quick and able to get me in.
10/10 on customer service and experience.Oct 07, 2025 -
Rohrman Honda service department is awesome and went above and beyond, I knew something wasn’t right with my front bumper, and they actually took the time to look in to it and found a broken piece that holds it on. I had been battling with the dealership we purchased it new from this year (Hare Honda) and they did nothing but continue to blame my wife and I for hitting something and basically putting the blame on us and we knew that wasn’t the case. Thank you to Adam Adrian and Xion for taking care of me and actually spending time on it! You’ve gained a customer for a very long time!

We picked our new 2026 CRV today. Let me just say, Ethan deserves much praise. He is a very outstanding sales person. He made our purchase so easy. He went above and beyond to find a CRV when the first dealer trade fell through. Our family had a great experience. Thank you Ethan!!!

I waited some time to leave my review. I feel like it’s important to let other people know what’s being done by the finance department. Our salesman was great. The experience was fine outside of me being lied to. I leased my truck. I get a new vehicle every year to every other year. I do not get any add ons be it warranty’s or service contracts because they never get used. I relay this information because I just want the vehicle with no add ons. I went to sign my documents and I saw that there was an add on for 2,400$. It said key replacement. It’s what they group their tire/dent repair/windshield repair warranty under. I said I don’t want that. He told me, verbatim.. “Oh no, the dealership pays for that on leased vehicles. Even if I took that off right now your payment won’t change”. I said then where in the contract does it negate this amount? He said im telling you we pay for it. Flash forward a few months I contact Honda financial to see if he was lying. He was lying. It was added on. I canceled it. I also now have to wait until lease end to get the money returned. Please do not listen to them when they tell you that you aren’t paying for it or it’s covered by the dealership. How many other customers have been told this? Please go to another dealership. Prior to coming here I went to Penske. It’s a volume dealer and they don’t scam you like this with add on BS.

Very happy with my experience Justin was able to find me the exact car I had been wanting in the exact color I had been wanting and was able to get it secured for me before it was even done being built at the factory! Excellent service every time this is my 4th Honda that I have gotten from here.
