If you're a truck driver coming in to pick up a load for recycling, when you come through the gate, turn left. Go ahead around the curve of the building and you'll see the scale ahead of you. Pull onto the scale, CB channel 23. You'll be asked for your pu#, truck and trailer #s and where it's going. You'll then pull off of the scale, follow the path into the yard to turn around. Come back past the scale to door W3. Slide tandems back, open doors and back into the building to the dock. There are lines and reflective markers on the dock to guide you in. After you're loaded, you'll pull forward far enough for them to close the trailer doors and seal it with a bolt seal. Pull out to your left and adjust the trailer tandems. Turn around and head back to the scale for your loaded weight. Pull off, turn aroundclike you did the first time, go past the scale and park. Walk into the office for your paperwork.
4 stars because the signs are not clear for where you need to go. I went to the wrong shipping office and wasted time waiting for the lady to load a flat bed, then come to tell me I was in the wrong place. Everyone I dealt with were all 5 stars.
Recently i took some insulated copper and brass to winski and they weighed it and a mistake was made on the insulated copper and I was paid a significant lower price then I should have. After talking to management it was corrected and Mr Mitchell followed through with making it right and I will always come back because they are an honest establishment....
This is an easy and convenient location to recycle your scrap metal. Unless you have a lot it might not be worth collecting the payment, but still keeps the useful metal out of the dump.
They pay $0.10 per LB. It's extremely low, but I wanted to drive close enough for a 40-lb recycle. I had a car engine to recycle.
The process was relatively easy. I registered in the office, and then they weighed my car with the recycled engine together. I drove to the field, tossed the engine, and weighed my car again. In total, they paid $4. Better than nothing for me.
Had some friends tell me to take my stuff somewhere else and should have listened. Took truck load of steel and they are paying 45 dollars a ton. It doesn't even pay to save it then. I started going to Newlon in Kokomo and. Winslow is always under half of what they give. Until we get better recycle place here I guess I'll continue to drive 45 minutes away.

I melted some aluminum and brass and they were going to give me basically 10% value because they were melted into bars. Said they didn't know if I put stuff in the middle.
Very disrespectful staff. The staff got mad at my driver because he didn't put a trailer exactly where the staff wanted it. Then tried to tell my driver he was wrong about other things. If it was my call the person would be suspended for a few days until the attitude was gone. Other then that decent work.
Was considering taking a car there to recycle. Called for more info, the man on the phone was so incredibly rude that I gave up trying to talk to him. Will go elsewhere.
Nice staff and very helpful. What I would say clean for the type of facility it is. Parking in front of the scrap office kinda sucks if you have bigger vehicle.
I was ripped off by this place. I had a little over to ton of light iron. I have never been docked for putting something in a shredder pile I've always gotten full price for what I do everywhere I go except this one company after telling me they would give me 235 a ton. This is a big time scrap metal company in a place where it seems like the market for it is high and they are the only company set up to do it I take advantage of it and you as a customer be careful and wary before you went on load anything there make sure you are very clear with the inspector on what you're getting paid cuz he's an a******
