We came in at 1pm with a Yukon with no front fan for the AC on one of the hottest days of the year just hours before our big summer road trip to Colorado. Rick and the guys managed to get a new blower installed in just a few hours and our vacation was saved! Rick's shop has always done great work for us but this was going over the top and the extra mile for us and I will be forever grateful!
Ive been here multiple times, and have brought this shop plenty of business. I brought a vehicle in for inspection prior to breaking down. I had the vehicle towed with no issues. Days gone by hearing nothing so I reached out. They said the vehicle needed a new engine. I kindly rejected the service and ended up having the vehicle junked. They proceeded to charge me 150$ for….nothing? I have had previous vehicle inspections done here at no cost. I was pretty dumbfounded when I was handed a 150$ due notice for them just looking at the car. Will not ever return.
I would give Rick and his staff a "20" if allowed. The circumstances that brought me to Rick's were surreal but Rick and his staff not only provided EXCEPTIONAL customer service, their attention to detail and expertise were UNPARALLELED!!! My daughter and I were traveling home from Denver to Pittsburgh when her rear linkage separated a few miles from South Bend. We limped off the interstate and were certain we would be stranded since it was 4th of July weekend. But low and behold, Rick came to the rescue. Not only did he tow us to safety, fix the car, he was able to fix an A/C issue that other shops couldn't. And on top of that, he provided valuable manufacturer info which saved us a ton of money!! Being from out of town, Rick and his staff showed us an abundance of sensitivity and service. He was able to complete the transaction quickly and concisely using digital means (excellent). I cannot express my gratitude enough to Rick and his staff! I live 375 miles away and am strongly considering using Rick's for all future vehicle needs (LOL)!!!! If you live with range of Rick's and don't use him you're wasting money! Thank you Rick. From the bottom.....
Ricks 66 has always provided great service and very fair prices. They are one of the quickest towing services around and they have roadside assistance as well. I always recommend Ricks for anything from towing to repair work. Great job!!!
Man, these guys are awesome. I drove 400 miles with my SUV and trailer to South Bend for four days. One hour from South Bemd, I get an urgent dash message about oil pressure and requiring me to shut off the engine. I did so and added oil. Pressure went back up, and I went the rest of the way. Upon arrival, there was oil on my back bumper and the front of the trailer. At idle, there was a drip every second under the radiator. The call to Rick's informed them of the extenuating circumstances surrounding the repair need. They took me the same day that I hadI called and had it done in three hours. The intake gentleman was very kind and communicated well. They are awesome!!
Came in with electrical issues on a 14’ Silverado. Got a tow and this gentleman had one good hand while doing his job. Was impressed he didn't let it stop him from taking care of me. Got it towed and next day had it looked at and got a call from Rick. Approved the charges and got the vehicle back the next day! The turn around is what really had me. Was worried I'd miss work and was able to get the truck on the road again in a jiffy! Thank you Rick and your team of employees. Def will throw everyone your way with mechanical needs. Recommended by AAA. They did a good job, met their estimate, and are open late so it was convenient to pick the car back up after it was fixed. Also, after towing my broken down car to their site, they were nice enough to give me a ride back. All around, a nice group and a good job.
The best experience ever. Andre, the tow truck driver was not only professional but compassionate about making sure not only my car was taken care of, but making sure I had someone coming to pick me up.

Our vehicle overheating and another garage didn't really know what they were doing. This experience makes me appreciate Ricks so much more because I know that they are good quality people and they do an honest job. Ill always bring my car back to have work done every time from now on.
What a rip off. Had an emergency and had Rick's tow it to their shop for repairs. After my 3rd phone call to them they tell me they don't do that type of repair. Something i should have been told before it was towed to their shop for repairs. So then i had to them for a second tow to a shop that would repair it. Was charged $40 for storage of 5 hours. $50 administration fee? WTF kind of scam is that. $390 total because of the second tow that i should have never had to pay. I had a bad experience with one of their drivers one time when he was dropping off a neighbors vehicle and he let the car roll off the flatbed right into my cars rear door. When my neighbor came and got me to let me know n i went out to look at it he denied it hitting my car and was trying to hurry up and leave. I immediately got on the phone and called 911 and made a police report. The driver didn't report it to the company. They did take care of the damage at no cost to me. It's very shady if you ask me. I won't use them again after this last experience with them. I wouldn't suggest anyone use them either with shady practices in towing and pricing and not giving you the proper information from the beginning!
Andre was incredibly quick! He was safe while loading up my vehicle for a tow, and was so polite. He got to my vehicle ten minutes after receiving the initial contact and came prepared for anything. He assessed the damage to my vehicle and even gave great recommendations to local shops. Thank you!

I got referred to this company through AAA as it was their nearest provider to the area I was in when my truck had a brake issue and needed towed.
Upon arriving at my address with the vehicle to drop it off. The driver, Jeremiah, cut the corner of my driveway too sharp causing his truck to fall into a drainage ditch on the side of my driveway. Not only did the grass get tore up, but it also destroyed my culvert retaining wall on the side of my driveway, causing hundreds, if not thousands of dollars in damage to repair. I was told that they won't do anything about it and to call AAA instead.
John was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. He explained what he was doing in a way I could understand, and he completed the battery change quickly.
Ricks always gets me in quickly! They are VERY fair on price and never try to oversell. My oil change and repair were done in record time! I always refer!!
When my car wouldn't start and I had a family emergency to deal with the next day they were more responsive than I could have ever imagined. They towed my car within the hour, diagnosed and replaced the starter first thing in the morning and I had my car back by early afternoon. I have never experienced such great service from a repair shop and I hold onto cars for a long time. I'll go back to this shop and recommend them to everyone I know. Huge kudos! I had a wonderful experience with Ricks auto on Auten road ! My tow driver was Andre. He cared for my car like it was his own and helped me out a lot! I would definitely recommend this company if you ever need a tow they were wonderful!
Great service! Life saver. Blew a tire on the way to Michigan. I called around and was referred to Ricks.and they had me back on the road within the hour at a reasonable price. Definitely would recommend.
I was very satisfied with the service. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Even though they are short on drivers right now they still made an effort to give me a ride home while my car was being work on. Also, even though it took extra time for the parts to come in on a Friday(no fault of theirs, it was the dealer's fault) they fixed it early Saturday morning and I was back in my car much earlier than expected. Rick's was recommended by a coworker and I can definitely see why. Will definitely be bringing my car back if it needs work again.
