Wouldn’t know what anything is like. Everything says they are open but tried to go there on Wednesday October 22nd at 7 pm and they are closed. The building is for sale. Tried calling and even the answering machine said they are open
Very quaint little restaurant. Hometown feel. A lot of local people to chat with, and Madison was our server. She was on top of everything, Very knowledgeable and very attentive. We will definitely be back.
I Tried a 10” pizza, not expecting a gluten free cauliflower crust I was very disappointed. In hindsight It was probably fine for cauliflower crust. I probably still won’t read the entire menu on lunch in case of notes at the bottom
Carolina Gold wings were good and tangy. Not too small/too big. Fried just right. Could have used a little more sauce on there…
The Southbound Train Burger with bacon jalapeño jam was outstanding.
I went a little before noon. The service was top notch! The food was amazing as well!
I was in a hurry & was able to sit, order, eat, pay, & leave with time for my needs. I certainly recommend visiting if you are in the area!

It’s a family owned business and I love that. I went there today 10/24/2024. I got the Parmesan spicy garlic wings and they were delicious. I will be back
Just passing through traveling. Food was GREAT! Bartender was great as well! There was a ride that stopped in just after we arrived and she handled everything flawlessly. Highly suggest this little gem!
Amazing food and huge portions! Burgers of this magnitude cost double the price at bigger locations and typically aren't as good! Thank you Railyard for keeping us well fed!
I used to enjoy the place well enough, but don't go as often anymore because the nickel-and-diming is getting out of control. Burgers are now up to $12.99 and still DON'T come with fries. (+$3.99 for that!) A (very) small side of ranch or blue cheese dressing to dip fries in is +$0.75... each! I can buy a whole bottle of ranch dressing for $1.25 at Kroger. SEVENTY FIVE CENTS for a SIDE of a condiment?!? This pricing isn't reasonable for a restaurant that still uses plastic baskets to serve the food in.
I recently went to the Yard House right in downtown Indianapolis. Burgers were $13.99 and INCLUDED fries.

OWNERS, PLEASE stop charging for a side of dressing! And include FRIES! I know so many people who don't go here anymore because of the pricing increases over and over. Please!

Good prices, good drinks and good food. They were preparing to close for a week vacation so they were out of a lot of food. But what we ordered was good. The staff and family made me feel like a regular. Enjoy your vacation.
First time going with a group of friends. The place was clean and cozy and the staff was very nice. Our waitress made sure our drinks were always full and we were taken care of. Food was very good and prices were great. Love their Amaretto Sour, probably the best I’ve had around.
Love this place. Over several visits my son's and I have tried almost everything on the breakfast and lunch menu's. Every meal has been very good. The portions are large and service is fast and friendly. The fries are the best any where !!
Looking for incredible food? Don’t want to drive to Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky? If you’re in Southeastern Indiana or driving down I74 you NEED to make time to visit this amazing Bar and Grill! The food is always fresh and the service is second to none.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this place ends up as a tourist attraction because it’s that good!
We discovered it roughly a year ago and we can’t get enough! Seriously though. If you’re looking for something new, give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.
Another great stop to grab food. I had a burger and fries and was out the door for less than $20 with tip. The burger patty reminded me of my momma’s meatloaf, the fries were perfectly crispy. The waitress was friendly and never let my drink run out.
Picked up wings for carry out. Drove 15 minutes out of my way and 15 minutes to get back on track to get these passed 3 other wing places. Can't say as I was impressed.
Make sure you remember to order celery and blue cheese because you won't be asked and they aren't included, $1 more ea.
Waitress told me it was because their wings cost more coming from a butcher, never frozen. Waitress was rather annoyed that I even questioned about the celery and blue cheese costing extra.
I was expecting something exceptional but was sadly disappointed when we opened them up at home. Pretty much the same size as those at the chain restaurant. Sauces were mediocre. Nothing to shout about.
Thankfully the Railyard makes a good breakfast. Stop for that. Don't bother for the wings unless it's the closest place to you.
Review was posted two weeks after the visit. Obviously the experience stands out for a reason. Other customers don't complain, they just don't return.
This is our go-to place for great food! The daily specials are our favorite.....from lasagna, meatloaf, southern fried pork chops, City Chicken to filled bell peppers....the list goes on. We have never had a bad meal yet. A nice family owned restaurant/bar where you can enjoy an alcoholic drink with dinner as well. Also, easy parking and kid friendly. Sam and the entire staff are extremely friendly too! Highly recommend!
Love supporting local small businesses. Did an early dinner, 4:00 PM. Only handful of people at the bar. We sat in the family dining area. Food was good and server was sweet. Giving service 4 stars only because our server was slightly distracted by chatter occurring at the bar which resulted in several awkward waitings. Rather than that, good experience.
Not a large menu, which is not an issue for me. My sister and I both got burgers, different ones though. Both of us made the very same first comment, these are some thick burgers and they were! I could barely get a full top to bottom bite. I have to have well done and it was perfectly cooked. The only thing that could have made it better for me was some sort of condiment/s on it. Both came with fries, which were average. The staff was friendly and it was clean. We were kinda in the bar area, but not at the bar and we weren't given any silver wear or napkins. We were just going to grab some ourselves but holder's at the bar were empty. That's the reason service didn't get 5 stars.
Waitress was just not very good. I have been giving everyone exceptions due to it being hard finding help right now but tonight was ridiculous. It took over an hour to get out food and my husband got his before I got mine and when she brought mine it was only half of my order. She didn’t ask if I wanted blue cheese or ranch with my wings. My husband asked for a box for his and she said oh I told them to box the rest of your food when it’s done. Really? Thanks cause thats how I wanted it cold at home. Btw my order was an appetizers.
We were traveling towards Indianapolis and wanted to stop for lunch, but not typical fast food. Although it was 3 miles off the highway, The Railyard was worth the time. Food was delish, server was friendly and helpful. Those qualities seem to be hard to find these days.
First time here. A Thursday evening, very busy, and only 1 waitress in the whole place. She was friendly, inviting, and bubbly, AND we actually had great service. The 5-6 member team, worked as one. I had the burger, it came with fries. It was great, and so were the fries. My friend had the wings, it was wing night. She said they were great! We also had a rambunctious 2 yr old with us, who bothered no one. Great options for him too.The green beans were great, ham and onions, just like I make them at home. It's a thumbs up from this critic!? (And I AM a critic!) ???
The food and service is great. You get large servings and the food is out quickly. The staff is always friendly and smiling and the food is reasonably priced. I will definitely be back!
Awesome food!! Been there twice and haven't been disappointed yet. Price is good also. Keep it up! We brought 3 other couples with us last time and they said they'll be back also
Excellent food. It's quality home cooking. Friendly and warm atmosphere too. Great service. It's like sitting down for a family meal without having to do the cooking or the cleanup. What more could you ask for? 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend
