Pinpointing exactly what happen and also alerted me someone else came in thr night before with the same exact problem and from the exact place and same oil chance place.
Broke down in the side of the road 1.3 miles from the store they had the part on the shelf to get me home I offered to pay over the phone or with cash and give whoever money for gas and the refused to help.
Me and my dad have always gone here. when we needed brakes for our vehicles or oil filters or light bulbs for cars and lawn mowers or just basic garage stuff. Really fun people that work there. they're down to earth. they know exactly what you need. fun to talk to, and I've had no problem with them. And if they don't have something they will tell you where you might need to go to find it. Don't take my word for it go and see for yourself if they have what you're looking for.
These guys at OReilly are THE best and are very knowledgeable! Don't go anywhere else because these guys WILL ensure you get the correct item at the best price available! I'll continue to shop here unless they change their staff. Don't fix what's NOT broken! Great job guys! OReilly's team members were awesome! Our son's vehicle died just outside their parking lot and with 20 minutes left before they closed. They came out and checked the battery and alternator and helped us get a new battery in even though they had to stay past closing. They were so helpful and friendly!
Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They usually have the parts I need, but if not, they can usually get them from a sister store next day or sometimes same day

TERRIBLE service! The parts guy at the counter acted like I was foolish for asking him why my interior lights, windows, and air stopped working. Told me I was at the wrong place. Very rude.
My battery died late Saturday morning and all repair shops would be closing at noon, and of course they would be closed on Sunday. I recalled their advertisement that O'Reilly would install batteries. Just a jump start later, the guys had a new battery waiting for me and a very nice young man to install. 30 minutes from start to finish. They were a lifesaver.
This was a lucky stop if it wouldnt have been for the 2 guys going out of there way right before closing time i would have been stuck there overnight. My water pump went out and they stayed well past closing and the one employee stayed until about 2230 to make sure i got it finished and back on the road. If i could rate a store a 10 i definitely would. Thank yall and i definitely recommend this store if you want people who care about your situation. THANK YOU BOTH
For a small town chain store, they are very friendly but it's hit and miss in the answer dept if a question is asked, but all in all its a good place to get parts etc.
Prices are above other retailers beware. I went in to check my battery and when the employee hooked up the battery check tool it was done wrong. When checking a battery you must tell the tester what CCA the suspect bad battery is rated to first. Mine was 770 Amp he set the tester to 600 and skipped the rest of the settings like temperature when testing etc. The battery failed as I suspected. We found a replacement battery for $179 and I asked if they would price match he answered NO we don't price match on any batteries. This is NOT true as I have done it before and the company policy clearly calls out that they do. When I challenged he asked another senior employee who also confirmed NO $ match. I asked them to contact corporate and they said I would have to do that myself. So I called the Bloomington Indiana store and asked if they price matched on batteries the store manager who answered replied YES but it must be a local place not internet and must meet the same cold cranking amperage and battery size and warranty. I then informed the clerk about his policy and offered the phone to him if he wanted to confirm, he declined and agreed to price match stating he had never let anyone price match at this store. I then pulled up 2 batteries one from Rural King which he declined stating those were reconditioned batteries not new?? and the 2 nd from Walmart which he agreed was not a reconditioned unit. The Walmart battery was only $97.73 same CCA and size and warranty. I purchased the $179 battery for 97.73 but was then charged a core charge? When I asked why he said because you need a battery to send back for a core. What? I said do you not see my truck right outside? Don't you install batteries here like it says on the door? He said yes. Then paused looking upset, so I asked him to please install my newly purchased battery and retrieve the dead one for the core and not charge me for it now just to then have to refund the core charge separately. When he installed the battery it did not fit and was too tall for the hold down to properly work. This was the battery he said was correct oem replacement and there was nothing else he could do. Hands me my hold down and returned inside.
What he could have said is that there is a kit I could buy to hold it down could have sold me felt battery rings for the terminals, terminal cleaner and corrosion protection. Was not interested in customer service because HE lost so much money on the price match.
Bottom line I will be price matching everything I buy from here from now on. In the past 5 years I have spent $3,000+ at this location.
