Be aware do not I repeat do not take your truck to these guys they're friendly they pack pistols and they'll tell you anything that they can tell you to get your money I pulled my truck in there with the trailer to get it serviced only to be told that it won't go into gear now after they done something with the so I had to have a record come out told me backwards unhooked the trailer tow the trailer backward hook onto the truck move it out of the way hook onto the trailer take it over to another yard overnight they had my truck four days now they had my truck the better part of a week after all said and done they charge 6,000 when later we found out that all was wrong with it was it was throwing codes saying transmission fault service required it needed fluid changed and new filters they said the transmission needs to be pulled B rail needs to be repaired and nothing they can jump right on it and get it done while $6,000 later I got the truck back drove it home only to find out from another mechanic all that was needed was the flood needs to be changed and filters so again do not take your truck to these guys the owner told me they had 13 trucks on the lot where the owner at the trucks could not afford to pick the truck up and they're trying to get the title to him to sell them they're scam artist stay away from them
Bad experience
On Jan 9/25 my truck stop shifting the gears I call road assistance they came they do their thing and told me I have to towed to a shop because it needs Detroit engine specialist. They recommended me to this shop I called I talked to Mike on the phone I told the situation and all that he talk to me very nice and told me I can look at it tomorrow morning and I think I know the problem and I will fix tomorrow. I towed to there when he know my truck is in their shop yard mike completely different person attitude and disrespect and it takes ages to check the truck not answering the phone and if they do Nothing but yelling wait wait wait..after a week they said the problem is shifting gear and clutch and estimated fixing price is $7500 and takes weeks to fix we decide to towed somewhere else they charged me over $900 for only checking the issue because he didn’t like I’m taking the the truck to somewhere else.
I spent $1300 for towing to different shop my truck was ready next morning takes up to 4 hours to fix it has nothing to do with clutch it was shifting sensor problem from transmission I paid $2200 that was my experience about this shop
Absolutely would not recommend to anybody to this scam shop it’s badly unprofessional
Great customer service Micheal and his team done a head gasket job on my 2015 freightliner in a timely manner and kept me well informed of the process of the job I would give 10 if I could

I dropped my truck there on Tuesday and it’s been six days. He don’t even touch my truck. He only have to do diagnose very rude person don’t go there don’t go there
I had heavy work performed on my 2012 Cascadia yesterday at Major Mechanic LLC. The owner, Mike, is a solid and honest man. He and his Mechanics, Mr. Red, Mr. Strainer & Mike Jr. are not only hard working, but very knowledgeable and dedicated to their customers. In 13 years of OTR driving, I have never encountered good and thorough mechanics ever, and I can say with authority being ive had my truck worked on all over this country. Mike is extremely loyal to his customers, and actually cares about getting his customer back out on the road as fast as possible. The diagnosis of my differential problem was accurately identified and handled. I can not say enough to express my gratitude to Mike and his guys. In addition, Mike and Kari made me feel welcomed and comfortable and always invited me for lunch. Hospitality was top notch. Thank you to you all!
We were traveling coast to coast and had issues with our 1999 motorhome. We couldn't find anyone to help us out and finally dialed these wonderful people, just working down the list. Call them first! They got us in and out, professional and affordable. Highly recommend this team of mechanics.
No place is perfect, but if you're fortunate enough to have them work on your rig, you will find that they are absolutely determined to get the fix right.. the first time.
Major Mechanics are the best shop in Indy hands down.I had my transmission rebuilt in a CL 700 Mack tri-axle Mike and the crew did a great job not only did they rebuild the transmission but they also diagnosed future problems that saved me future time and money.And also maybe a month later my clutch break stop working I gave Mike a call and he had me pull up and he greased my clutch and installed me a new clutch brake and didn’t charge me anything….long story short I won’t be taking my truck anywhere but MAJOR MECHANIC SERVICES!!!!
I'm an owner operator, so when my 13 speed trans starting to go bad, I researched a shop I felt good about and limped my truck another 200 miles to make it to this shop. They rebuilt my trans. on the spot as well as putting in a new clutch, flywheel and oil cooler, as well as
some u-joint. .I know I saved several thousand
dollars as well as several days if down time. Micheal and his crew are top self TRUST ME WHEN I say this. Great shop. Great techs. Great service. Great follow up. They are on my "A" list. Thank you to all the staff. YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!!
Worse personality. Don't recommend to even my enemy. Mike is the badest over there. He has bad attitude toward anybody. Don't know how to talk to his customers. Our truk was there and couldn't fix it. And we have to take it elsewhere. Just wash of time and money
Will never bring my truck back took 5 weeks a lot of excuses said 4900 dollars for transmission work said I was leaking oil from heads when to 2 other shop said no its the rear seal on engine when transmission is out it only 6 bolts so basically i have to have someone drop transmission again to fix also used different bolts for my muffler thats not even close to right lucky found that out after missing bolt and other one was only holding by a thread
Always does a good job. Never have to bring my truck back to him after working in it. Fair prices. Only works on big trucks, not cars and personal type vehicles.
Took my car the for them to look at the transmission and the owner Michael was way to friendly with my underaged daughter. She felt uncomfortable and for the owner to have been fixed on conversating with her with the comments that he made.
A hose wasn’t clamped correctly after they installed a new radiator and I was shut down on the side of the road. They got oil on my front brakes. My truck was also hit while sitting in their yard. And when I went to another mechanic to check what they had done to my DEF system, I saw with my own eyes how they had blatantly lied to me about the work they said they did. Not once did the owner apologize or try to make things right. I’ll let you decide if you want to take your truck here.
My truck broke down at the truck stop and i needed a reliable shop. I've did some reviews and came across Major Mechanic. I've spoken to Mike and he sent a wrecker out to pick the unit up and got in back on the road ASAP.

They kept my truck for 5 days. Never fixed it and hardly touched it. Also he told me the wrong diagnosis for the problem. I eventually had my truck towed to another mechanic. The towing and the repairs where cheaper than this guys estimate. Lots of mechanics but not a lot of work getting done.

On the way home to the West Coast from Detroit just before Christmas when we discovered an oil pressure issue, the shop got us in first thing in the morning, managed to fit us into their busy schedule, they diagnosed the problem. Parts came late in the day from Cummins, the shop had us back on the road the next day. The shop owner even phoned me a day after we left to make sure everything was working properly, I was so impressed, who does that these days. I have had many instances to talk to and deal with mechanical shops in my career and these guys are by far the best I have ever encountered. Got me on my way so I could make it home to my family for Christmas, what an amazing experience.
Great place to have work done on a semi or large vehicle! Had an extreme issue with the frame of our 50K generator mounted on the back of our truck on Saturday. The owner Michael answered the phone even after normal hours and was able to work through the weekend and the holiday to repair our vehicle. After fabricating the steel angle brackets he even went as far as painting them to match the color! Never hesitate to conduct business with this company and customer service was beyond top notch! Very professional and skilled shop!

The worst mechanic ever no stars I had a problem with my voltage they said it was the alternator so They changed it they took about 5 hours they said only 2 hour.. one hour later my semi dies when I was driving please go to T.A or a Different mechanic shop they don’t know what they’re doing
Called this morning about 9:30 and stated I had a Detroit 60 series 12.7 with a check engine light on and asked if he worked on that engine. He said yes I asked if I could swing by now and again he said yes. Soon as I pulled up and filled in my info he was on my truck, about 30 minutes later I was riding back up the highway smiling. He even showed me where and what the issue was. Great shop.
Great place to get work done on your truck. Great people great customer service. I wish I lived closer because they would be my full time mechanic. Would recommend them to anyone.
