Don’t trust this towing company. They towed my friends car because they said he didn’t have a tag. They took a picture at night time and said they couldn’t see it in there. Then the next day they claimed that the parking tag magically appeared the next morning while the car was in their lot. They then tried to say we put the tag in there the next day even though the car was in their lot. Even though there was tag in there they still made me pay their $150 charge even though they confirmed they were in the wrong.

The tow truck driver has been marking my tires within my apartment complex. The tow driver regularly targets my vehicle whenever he comes onto the property. I own two vehicles on the premises; one has low-profile tires and is not used during the winter months. I have spoken with the leasing office and was advised that I need only to move the vehicle once a week by disposing of trash in the dumpster. Despite complying with this instruction, the marking of my tire persists. I have contacted the towing company multiple times and was told they only visit the property once a month, which I believe to be inaccurate. I also take photographs to document that I have moved my vehicle. To prevent damage, I often park in front of my apartment window when spots are available, as my vehicle has been vandalized twice in the parking lot. Both incidents were hit-and-run accidents, resulting in self-funded repairs.
If anyone from the Indy Tow is reading this, I request that my vehicle no longer be targeted; otherwise, I will pursue legal action. My vehicle has proper registration plates and a valid parking permit. I intend to file a formal complaint with the Consumer Protection Division of the Indiana Attorney General’s Office. It is important to clarify that I am not to be harassed or targeted further.Jan 23, 2026 -
This establishment made a mistake and instead of handling it with integrity they chose to cover it up and sweep it under the rug. They damaged my vehicle and will not pay for the damages

Predatory company. Charged outragous prices per day and you know they'll add whatever fee they can. I pray to god no one ever has to deal with these people. Even nice people who comply will be greeted with an attitude and hostility. They know what they're doing is wrong and they show it with the signs cameras and security at their business. They towed my car a few months back after an accident where my vehicle was parked and it was hit and then towed with no contact to me while i was setting up tow with another servicer. Disgusting practices.

The people in the office is very rude. When I went to get my car, it would not start. It started before they took it, but they act like there's no problem. They told my car outside the lot and left it

They are full of it. My car was towed from right in front of my house and my title was stolen but even though I have all the paperwork I need to get my car out, they will not allow it. They won’t even allow me to get my kid’s car seats out of the car. Horrible service, and they have no empathy for anyone. It’s almost Christmas and I’m a single mom of 3 and I’m not able to get my kids property…. From MY car!

Staff are very patient, helpful, and kind.
My car was towed per my apartment complex rules - I just happened to be sick at the time for about a week and a half and didn't know my car had a flat tire and was in violation. The situation wasn't really anyone's fault and it just sucks all around because it is expensive. The Indy Towing staff were very helpful both on the phone and in person. I had even accidentally left my cell phone in the Lyft that brought me to the lot and a staff member helped get it back for me. After my car was brought outside of the lot, I was able to inflate my tire with a portable device I brought. Another staff member checked to make sure everything was okay with my tire before he left the lot. Their extra kindness and helpfulness with my phone and tire made a stressful and expensive situation the best that it could be.Dec 09, 2025 -
Not happy with This business. They towed my car and there was no tow sign. While getting my car back there was a couple who's car was towed This morning from their own appointment building.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I called 11/26/2025 at 9:43PM and reported a visitor parking in a residential parking spot and this person continues to do so. Our community manager told us to call the towing company to report these vehicles per our lease, so I did. The dispatcher said he was going to send out a driver and no one never showed up. If today wasn't Thanksgiving, I would be calling and complaining, but seeing the other reviews, they don't seem to care about their business!

I’ve lived at Wesmont for a year, and to say I’m thrilled to be leaving would be an understatement. I travel constantly for work and have lived in hundreds of apartment complexes across the country — this one ranks near the bottom.
Let’s talk about Indy Towing, the company supposedly in charge of keeping non-residents from parking here. 99% of the time, they do absolutely nothing. But come Friday or Saturday night, they show up in the middle of the night like vultures, towing every car in sight — no warning, no courtesy, nothing.
I had a car parked in the same spot for over a month. The parking pass expired by just one day, and they towed it immediately. The temporary passes the office hands out are only good for a few days, so if you have guests, get ready to waste your time constantly renewing them. It’s ridiculous and completely inconvenient.
If Indy Towing actually enforced parking rules consistently, maybe it wouldn’t be such a disaster. But instead, they cherry-pick when to “do their job.” Most of the week, non-residents fill the lot while actual tenants struggle to find parking. Then, on random nights, Indy Towing swoops in and hauls cars away while residents are asleep — leaving everyone stressed and inconvenienced.
If you work full-time, good luck finding a safe place to park when you get home. You’ll either park far away and risk your car being broken into, or you’ll have to set an alarm for 3 a.m. to move it once the tow trucks finally decide to show up.
The first time my car was towed, I went to their office to figure out what happened. The woman working there couldn’t have cared less — she was on her phone the entire time, rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful.
This company is unprofessional, inconsistent, and predatory. I genuinely hope they go out of business because they operate like a scam — rude staff, shady practices, and zero respect for the residents they’re supposed to serve.
Avoid this place at all costs.Nov 01, 2025 -
I find the actions of this tow company to be predatory, greedy, and incompetent to the needs of the apartments they serve. I dropped off my girlfriend at her apartment complex at R56 Apartments and parked in an empty residential lot where all visitor parking was full at 7 pm on Sunday, 10/27. I walked my girlfriend to her apartment and when I returned at 8 pm, found my car had been towed. There was no reason to tow my vehicle as I was visiting and it had been parked in an open residential lot for less than an hour. I learned on Monday that R56 hadn’t even requested a sweep that night—the tow company had executed it at their own volition. I understand the need to move vehicles that are parked for days in a lot they shouldn’t be in but to execute a sweep on a Sunday evening—common visiting hours— is outright aggressive and not in line with the spirit of why these services are needed. This tow company clearly was looking to prey on unsuspecting visitors and make quick money on easy targets.

Currently waiting to get a car out of their lot that they boxed in. Have been waiting for over an hour since Ive paid and only have been told a driver is getting to it after dropping off other cars. It has been an hour since then and I am still waiting for someone to get to me. Terrible service and no care for others time.

Warning – Fraudulent Practices!
If your car gets towed by this company, do NOT pay with a debit or credit card. My cousin’s car was towed, and we were told the fee was $100 even though it had been there less than 24 hours. They ended up charging my card $210 without authorization.
To make matters worse, they submitted a fake receipt to the bank claiming I signed for the payment and presented my ID, which never happened. When I tried to speak with a manager, they were either “not available” or refused to come to the phone.
This company operates with dishonest, predatory, and fraudulent behavior. Protect yourself and ONLY pay in cash and document everything. They are taking advantage of people and committing white-collar theft. In the description, I have the real receipt and I also have the fake receipt they submitted to my bank.Oct 16, 2025 -
Had my car towed by this company for parking in the lot of an apartment complex without a resident parking tag as a HEALTHCARE WORKER TREATING A PATIENT IN THE BUILDING. I was there for 2 hours during the middle of the day (business hours). The leasing office of the complex was not open and there is no designated guest parking. When I tried to explain the situation, Daphne was very rude and did not have any remorse that they had wrongfully towed me. What a sad world we live in where a person can’t even work doing a public service without worrying about greedy companies like this.

I own multiple apartment complexes in Indianapolis and have used this company for about 3 years. I have tried to make it work but it has been a fruitless and arduous endeavor.
I send them surveillance footage and pictures of vehicles to tow and they do whatever they want. On multiple occasions, they have towed new tenants where I specifically told them to not tow. This causes me grief with the tenants and causes me business. It will cause you business too.
On other occasions, I send them information on vehicles to tow and they never show up. They will claim they showed up but the surveillance footage never lies.
Cindy and Daphane need to hire some qualified and experienced professionals because my experience with them has been on a rollercoaster which slipped into the abyss. "I'm sorry" does not cut it as a professional or as a business owner.
Today I let them go because they towed a new tenant that I specifically told them not to tow.
To property owners and PMs out there, I would steer clear of this one.Sep 29, 2025 -
Interactions with this company are handled smoothly by the lady behind the steel door. Even though after paying we were required to wait for a tow truck driver to tow the vehicle off the lot, the wait was made carefree because of the nice ladies people skills.

Stole my car. Indy Pro Tow monitors the parking at my apartment complex. On 8/14/25 I went to go the fair with friends and my car was gone. Called and they said they had towed my car for not having a parking permit. I told them where on the windshield my permit was and they said that it was there, but it was the wrong permit for my complex and they wouldn’t bring my car back to me. Property management got in touch with them and told them that my permit was in fact valid. Indy pro tow had failed to update their staff on the new permits that the property sent them. Had to uber to the tow yard and they released my car for free but I’m out the $20 for my uber and was incredibly late to my plans. One star because at least the people in their office were nice when I got there.

I had a very unpleasant experience with Indy Towing Services due to the dispatcher’s unprofessional and rude behavior. She spoke with a condescending tone, showed no patience, and clearly lacked the basic people skills expected from someone working in customer service. Her attitude came across as bitter and irritated, as if helping customers was a burden rather than part of her job. It’s disappointing to see this kind of treatment, especially during already stressful situations like dealing with a tow. A quick look at other reviews shows this isn’t an isolated incident; it seems to be a recurring issue with this company’s customer service. Indy Towing Services, your customers deserve respect and professionalism. Please train your staff accordingly and take accountability for consistent complaints. Do better.

Drove all they way from NY to visit some family for a 2 night at their apartment complex just to find my car in this lot totally unaware that visitors (which didn’t have any available parking spots) must park separate from residents, it became a major pain in the ass for me because i now had to fork up $150 and time spent with my family the staff is unprofessional and didn’t flex with me considering i had my pregnant wife to tend to. They have left a bitter taste in my mouth from every wanting to visite this place again.

Extremely Rude and Unprofessional
I had a terrible experience with this tow company. From the moment I called, the staff was rude and dismissive. They acted like helping me was a burden, and any questions I asked were met with attitude. There was zero communication when I tried to clarify things, they became even more difficult to deal with. Not easy to work with at all — I would not recommend this company to anyone. If you're already dealing with a stressful situation this is the last company you want to call.Jul 11, 2025 -
Called twice to assist one of our customers with removing an abandoned camper from her property. Both times that I spoke with dispatch, I was told this camper could be removed so long as the property owner reached out and there is a contract signed. Property owner reached out to sign a contract and was told they do not do campers. Reached out again as I assumed there must have been a misunderstanding. Explained the situation and even sent pictures of the camper. Was told this could be done and to have the property owner email their team for a contract. Weeks go by and Indy never reached out. It's a shame we could not receive the assistance we were looking for and have both the property owner and ourselves in circles.

Public Review – For Awareness and Transparency
This is a public notice to inform others of my lived experience involving Indy Towing Service Inc. of Indianapolis.
On September 23, 2021, my private mode of conveyance—used for peaceful, non-commercial purposes—was taken from private property without consent, contract, or lawful notice. This action was conducted across county lines, exceeding the permitted range for this company’s operations, and without compliance to Indiana Code § 9-22-1-5. We tried to handle this in private but that was a no go, now we make it public.
There was no visible signage with required company information as per statute at their place of business, and no evidence was ever provided of a lien, warrant, or judicial process. The company has not responded to prior peaceful notices seeking remedy or return of private property, and the BBB lists them with an “F” rating and unanswered complaints. Their own rules say one must show a title or registration, they however required both.
This is shared for transparency and awareness. I am a living being seeking harmony, not conflict. Let those with ears to hear consider whether this entity conducts itself with integrity and lawful regard for others. May this message support others in making informed decisions.

My apartment complex has illegally contracted them to tow all cars without stickers yet that policy is not listed in the lease. When I called to tell them that the night dispatcher rudely hung up on me and was very rude. And stated I had to take it up with the apartment complex because they have a contract. A contract which is illegal because they have never had parking restrictions nor visitors parking in place when I asked for her name she said she is the night dispatcher and hung up on me again. Very unprofessional but I will get to the bottom of this. clearly they only care about the money and not Indiana laws and regulations but as she said take it up with my apartment complex because we have a contract.

Left for vacation July 10,2019 and returned back for my end of lease walkthrough inspection to find my car stolen. Police said try calling the tow company and what do you know. They’ve illegally towed my car on July11. $150+$30/day storage fees. Mind you I’ve lived at Garden Pointe apartment for 2 years. They say my car was inoperable & abandoned (how when my lease is not up, my plate sticker doesn’t expire until October 2019, my parking sticker is visible, none of my tires are on flat, and I drive it to Pepsico down the street at 5411 west 78th street to work, and drove it from the tow yard?)
