Dwayne was great getting my car out of the garage- which wouldnt start. He was very careful and explained everything up front. He was super helpful and a great guy !
Never a great day when you're broken down off I-70 and your instrument cluster is lit up like a . Shady brokers, long waits, the terror of watching your pride and joy shackled and shimmied up a flat bed.
Fortunately on this evening, my pull of the tow truck slot machine got me connected with Dwayne and Dave. Their proactive outreach cut through a thoroughly unhelpful roadside assistance broker to not go 50 miles in the wrong direction to a location I was not at. Further they came equipped to handle my delicate and thoroughly incapacitated baby. Finally they finished handing me the paperwork and instructions to ensure key handoff at the dealership was smooth.
No offense boys - sincerely hope I do not see you again. But If I or mine break down anywhere in the greater Indianapolis are, I'll do myself a favor and call Martin's first.
I've had towing services as well as other business interests with this company for a period exceeding 10 years, and throughout that time I've always found them to be competent, professional, honest and very courteous in all my interactions with them.
A pothole blew out two tires on our vehicle. We live out of state and we’re not familiar with area. Martin’s was suggested by local dealer to have car towed for repair. The gentlemen was friendly and very efficient, towing the car to the dealer within the hour. Grateful for the excellent service and communication by Duane ! Thank you!
Great service overall. My Tesla died in the parking lot of a hospital in Bloomington, IN. Martin’s immediately sent Dwayne down to tow the vehicle all the way to Castleton. I forget the name of the person who called me but they were very professional and informative, making sure they got all the information they needed and set an expectation of when Dwayne would arrive. I then received another call when Dwayne was 30 minutes away letting me know he would be there soon. Dwayne had experience towing this type of vehicle and managed to get it onto the flatbed in a crowded hospital parking lot. My wife is currently hospitalized and my car dying almost took my to my breaking point but Martin’s in Indianapolis and Dwayne specifically made my life a little easier. I would recommend them to anybody, especially anyone who has a higher end vehicle, and will be using them for any related needs in the future.
little bit pricey since I didn't renew my AAA last summer but were efficient and took my car to the DISCOUNT TIRE for a new tire. My trunk is jammed shut
The whole company was rude ! The guy came and never even towed my car when he told me needed the keys. When I tried to call back to let him know I was bringing the keys he pulled off and never answered my calls. I would never go to them again
They towed my son's truck on a Saturday but when I called to get info on cost needed to retrieve it, nobody knew nothing. They couldn't tell me daily storage costs nor towing costs. You would think whomever is answering the calls on the weekend would have that information. The lady was very nice when I took him to pick up his truck though.
Needed a tow for my car that was in a slanted drive way. It wouldnt start/turn over. He got in and kept turning the key and stopping on the gas peta atleast 15 to 20 times. I told him I would rather him not do that. "Ofcourse you know everything. Its on a hill and not getting any gas.I cant get it out of your driveway if I cant start it", he said. No, but I know thats not a good thing. I asked him to leave and I got another tow service to come. They popped it out of gear and let it roll down the drive way and loaded it up. My mechanic said he flooded the engine. ;( Rude and unknowledgeable about fuel injected cars.
If I could give them a zero I would! I think all these 5 star reviews are fake and we're created to push the negative reviews down! This company does not care about the rude lady who answers the phone and hangs up on customers. This was case with me! The lady told me their trucks are too busy and she hung up the phone! I filed a complaint with USAA so their company is not used either! I hope USAA stops doing business with this company or I will stop doing business with them! They need to stop contracting out these cheap tow services that are rude to their customers!
A gentleman named Dwayne helped me. Dwayne had excellent customer service & was very professional. The service was provided by my insurance through my roadside assistance however I would pay out-of-pocket for their services anytime and highly recommend them. Thanks Again Dwayne!
I had a terrible afternoon as my vehicle would not turn over (start). Thankfully I have full coverage so I lined up a tow to my dealership. Martins was who Progressive chose. The tow truck driver who assisted me was named Mark. Mark is a great guy and was very polite along with efficient. I recommend Martins to anyone who finds themselves in the predicament of needing a tow. Make sure and request Mark. Thanks again Mark and Martin's Towing!
Well this place is only getting 1 star only because they make you put least one to write a review these people will straight up lie to you they actually gave me a completed service time after waiting hours and told me not to worry it was picked up dropped off with times come find out they never did it ! Then when I called back lady on phone was rude as hell and tried to say someone had to be at the vehicle ! Probably cuz they stole stuff out of it and left is my thinking why else would someone only claim it was done then say I had to be there ? If anything's missing that will be a further report already filled one with insurance company against them .so I do not reccommreyou ever use them .and when the vehicle was finally picked up it was by h & h towing and they did their job well so call them first ! Martin's towing company is horrible
As anyone would, just wish they could have gotten to me within 10 minutes of my call for help. Very happy with the towing service. Keep up the good work.
Deserves no stars at all! Called for a tow through my Good Sam's membership (great company & service) and received a text after the call stating service will be anytime from 10:08-10:32am. Since we've had record numbers of high temps, I refused to sit and wait for an hour or longer in the heat with my child so we decided to wait at home until the approximate time of arrival. I get a call that they're there and they refused to wait 10 mins for us to get there and cancelled on us . Lady on the phone was rude. I asked them why I was expected to sit for so long but they couldn't be flexible for 10 mins. Nothing. They want your money and that's it. Terrible company. If you've had a negative experience I implore you to share it.
The driver was blocking a city street and could have picked up he tow w/o inconveniencing the public. The driver was ride and stated he does not care, call the company. It was not an emergency tow, the car was parked in front of the house and the driver blocked the entire street. Very unprofessional and rude. I had an emergency and felt it was not fair that I had to wait 5 minutes or more wbile the driver is taking pictures of the car. I had no other choice but to back my vehicle up and go all the way around the block to get to my destination. I would never recommend this company for the arrogance of towing worker.
I used my road side assistance who dispatched Martin's to tow my car to my house but they towed it to police impound instead! Then when I called asking why they would do that the girl was extremely rude, refused to let me finish a sentence, then hung up on me and kept answering and hanging up when I tried to call back for a supervisor.
These people are the rudest that I have dealt with. They called my daughter and cussed her out on the phone for no reason. It's a towing service that USAA called and recommended. She was stuck on the hwy. I would never recommend using them. I am hoping that USAA will now stop recommending them as well.
Complete lifesavers. My car stopped running on a long car trip, in the evening after all auto-shops had closed. When Dave came to tow my car, he discovered that my fuel line had somehow disconnected. He took me to Autozone minutes before it closed and showed me the clamps that I needed. I was able to get back on the road and making it to my meetings the next day. Between the skipped hotel room, a visit to the mechanic, and the meetings i would have had to reschedule, he must have saved me hundreds. Furthermore, he was extremely professional and never showed any disdain that I know next to nothing about cars.
Billy came and towed my mini van which had an axle that was broke in half. Billy was very polite. He did a great job of getting my van out of tight spot without messing up my van. Would reccomend them to do towing anytime.
Man! Awesome experience! Got to my car in less than 15 mins and John was so nice and helpful! Offered me a ride and got my car to the shop in a knick of time b/f the closed! Great experience and you've got a great hard working employee!
This business does not care about helping anyone but their own pockets. During a storm they towed our car without any notice from the state. Our car wasn't even on the road for 24 hours. This business is refusing to tow us home stating they had more important customers stranded on the road... We weren't stranded. This was just some low level business taking advantage of a broke down car during a storm. Bless your hearts because you will always stay on the lower ends of the planes taking advantage of people down on their luck.
Very rude. The man who answered, answered the phone like he hates his job. I said, " hi ,how are you?" After a long pause he finally answered with "Huh just fine what do you need."
(Dial tone) I hung up. I don't give ride people my money. I know we don't always have the best of days ,but when you're on the clock you need to act as though you're happy. Hate your job get a new one.
I had called my insurance company's road side assistance and, I was worried about my potential services through this company. All due to a failed ignition coil pack. Turns out I had a wonderful experience with this company, and I would recommend this company to anyone. The only down side was the time I had to wait, which has nothing to do with the driver himself it's mostly a dispatch thing stacking so much on the drivers.
Petty, unprofessional, uncaring. My insurance company told me they'd be there at a certain time. They showed up 30 minutes early and called me with an attitude asking why I was not there?! They called my insurance company to cancel because they had other calls... Avoid this company. You will be on their time and serving you at your convenience... find someone else. Or, just check their 2.9 satisfaction rating... I'm not the only one that thinks they need to be avoided...
My fiancé waiting for over 2hrs for a tow truck to assist her with a stalled vehicle. The dispatch employee was rude and kept giving a later ETA not reliable don't utilize.
I would give them no stars if i could. They sent a truck to my house on March 26, 2016. The guy was very nice and friendly even after he drove through my front yard and left me with a big rut. I was told someone would call me In regards to the damage done and I have yet to hear anything. I have called and left messages 5 different times and have yet to receive a return call. Needless to say I'm going to have to fix it myself.
Made a call to Hyundai's road side assistance explained I have a flat and I can not get the lug nuts off to put on the spare.
They placed a service call with Martin towing. I called Martin to verify there eta?
The guy on the phone from Martin confirmed that they were coming out for a tow. I said yes only if we can't get the lug nuts off. He said they don't do that they were only going to tow. And he would cancel the run. He was rude and over talked me when I was exploding the situation. He said they couldn't help they only tow cause that's what the contract says. I said you won't have to tow if you get the lug nuts loose. He said no they are only going to tow it they don't work on cars. He said run is cancelled and hung up.

Very rude,none professional and left me and my kids standing out in the cold for over a hour waiting on someone to get to us! When I called in to see how much longer they told me they would get to us when the could when the driver arrived he was very rude and acted as if I was a inconvenience to him!! I will never use Martians again and I will make sure my insurance company does not send them out to me anymore!
