Lady was RUDE AND PUSHY. I called to get a car towed for being parked in my spot and not having a visitors pass.
lady in the office asked me to show my lease In order for her guy to tow. I have lease. I waited 30 minutes she never sent anyone, Instead of towing the car. She decides to say she going to noT help me. Very unfair especially being I’m an older woman who needs my spot. I was unloading my groceries one day used the restroom came out this Tow company towed my car in less than 10 minutes so for her to require a lease to tow is BS. The car isn’t even parked in the spot between the two lines. Smh.
Travis was very professional, personable, and efficient. It was a pleasure doing business with him. And now my mom has a new son lol. Thank you so much from both of us.
They towed my parents car after they were rear-ended this last week and from the time we called asking if they had the car, when we would be able to come and clean the car out, to the time we arrived - they were kind, compassionate and caring. They answered our questions, let us take our time, explained the process on how things would work. From start to finish - they've been top notch.
I needed a tow to my mechanic in fishers and Lawrence towing was amazing! From the initial phone call, the lady was very sweet and nice. I was told about an hour or so before they had someone available but then got a call about 20 mins later and Travis was already on his way. It was super quick and easy and it only cost me $130. I was broke down on July 30th near 465 and Pendlton Pike. They had a driver there in 20 minutes. His name was Travis, he went above & beyond his regular duties. Extremely nice guy. The dispatcher was really nice and very attentive to my situation. I want to thank both of them for helping me when I needed it most!!

They were quick to pick me up, the drive & the drop off was pleasant, and it cost me around $165.

Is there a discount for the tow not being here wjen they promised? Like a super duper long wait. I called this toe company almost 2 hours ago and I'm still waiting I am a breastfeeding mother and I have a four-year-old and a 2 month old with me. They request 112 to go down pendleton pike but still isn't here. I'm just curious if there is a discount for such a long wait?
I needed to get my vehicle to a repair shop. I set things up over the phone. I did not have to be at my vehicle waiting because I dropped off my key and documentation to the office. The lady working there that day was very helpful and very informative.
I was so impressed by the service I received. They were quick to get there to tow me to a TA. The young gentleman was extremely nice and professional. He went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and my puppy was taken care of and was in a safe location. I highly recommend this company to someone who is in need of a tow.
I was in an accident on the Interstste during rush hour. EVERYONE was happy when the tow truck arrived! The driver was phenomenal. He was friendly and energetic, made sure I had all of my things, and knew exactly where my car would be. Customer service was excellent in the yard as well. I hope you don't need a tow truck, but I highly recommend Lawrence Towing!
Had to have my car towed to a mechanic. Had a great encounter with them! The lady who dispatched (tracy) and the driver (Michael) were both very friendly and attentive. Michael was super polite and handled my car with care. I realize I wasn't "sitting on the side of the road" or in an accident so my stress levels weren't high but my encounter with them was nothing but positive!
This place is run by unprofessional people. From the phone call to schedule to the driver backing down and entire ally instead of going around the block. Instead of pulling around the ally to ensure the car went out the shortest way. He wanted to take it down the whole alley with trees that would hit my car and was demanding I sign something that would absolve them of liability if damages occurred due to his bad approach. When I questioned the approach he was rude. Saying “don’t tell me how to do my job”. No customer service and the people seem to lack common sense but have tons of ego. Another company towed it with no issues. These people have no concept of customer service or common sense. Would not use them.
If you’re looking for a towing company that has you do the job yourself, and cares only to get it done quick with no care. You have found the right place. These guys won’t even start lowering the vehicle until payments been received, and then they want to do the bare minimum.
Your drivers do not own the road. They still need to abide by the rules of the rd. Running up on cars in a half shoulder laying on horn forcing drivers off the rd to let them by. Those are yellow light not red and blue. They are use caution, not yield me your right of way. Not to mention driver pulls into McDonald's to get some breakfast. Than parks in middle of driveway impeading flow of traffic to business.
I can't tell you how pleased I was, first, because a pleasant voice answered the phone , then a speedy, efficient pickup and delivery by a pleasant driver. I plan to use them. again and if you need a tow, I highly recommend this company
I had Chris out to my house today to pick up my 1968 Jaguar XKE to be delivered to my mechanic. He did a great job making sure he there were no issues with it being loaded up. He was great!! thanks so much.
Very nice people, great service, good price. It was cheap to get my car out and they were very understanding of my situation. My car got towed again today, this time by another company and they were very nice when I called to see if it was them and even gave me the name and number of the place they thought might have my car, which helped me find my car much quicker than I ever would have on my own. Very good people with great service and good attitudes!
They gave me an ETA of 60 minutes so after waiting for more than 1.5 hours they show up then just left. I called them and they said that the Lawrence police is their top, basically only, priority and they received a call for a police impound pickup. They left me sitting here the entire time so I had to try to find another tow company. This business is absolutely unprofessional and inconsiderate. Don’t EVER call for their services unless you enjoy waiting for someone who WONT show up! UNBELIEVABLE!
They came and picked me up within 10 minutes of my call. I was broke down at a stop light right after leaving the hospital where I had just lost my grandfather. I was upset and just wanted to get home. They were kind and quick and made the process as easy on my family and I as possible. Very thankful for them. The price wasn't terrible either.
My mother got in a accident.. went to pick up personal belongings.. and they were GONE!! The inside of the car looked like someone took a knife to the seats. And destroyed the head liner.. they had also taken the back seat out of the car!!! We couldn't salvage it even we wanted to... DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TOW COMPANY!!
They were fast, but I am not giving a complete 5 because they had me come in for stuff that could have been sent electronically. I live an hour away and am not thrilled to be so close to where I had my first major accident.. I had two attendants to walk me to my car. One was on the impatient side, but Tim was informative, easy to be around and patient. and he is the kind of guy you want to deal with when you are at the tow lot . At the same time I am curious as to why it made a side trip here. It was not stolen. I produced insurance at the accident and my registration was in the car. I think I will have it explained why I needed this service.
They told me to leave my key under the mat. I did. Then they locked my key in my car and left it at the mechanic. Said they could not find the key. I've now lost a day that my mechanic couldn't look at my car because the keys were locked in it. The best part is I gave them my number but they didn't bother to call and ask. Very poor customer service, wasted a lot of time.
Was referred by my mechanic to have my stalled car picked up by these guys. The driver was coming down the street and I waved at him to let him know where the car was....he pretended to not see me and drove right past. He did a U-turn and proceeded to park in front of my car. He got out of the truck without making ANY eye contact, and proceeded to start getting things ready. I said hello and he ignored me, until about one minute later when (again without making eye contact) he said "well, if you need to be watching me, maybe your car doesn't really need to be towed." I should have then and there told him to take a hike.....I didn't, but complained to the auto shop that recommended these guys who in turn complained to them and I then got a call from their office manager. She apologized, but her apology wasn't fully sincere as she said "there's always to sides to the story". Seriously? Stay away from these guys, folks. That's my recommendation.
I was in a car accident on the highway a few weeks ago. It was pretty bad, and while I wasn't seriously injured I was very shaken and out of it. My car was unsafe to drive, so the police officer asked if I needed to have my car towed. I wasn't thinking clearly and didn't think about calling my insurance or roadside assistance, so I told him yes. They called Lawrence Towing to pick up my car, and they towed it to their tow yard where it began accruing charges of $25 a day for storage while I figured things out with my insurance and the police report. By the time I was able to pick up my car, the storage charges were $675. They charged me $20 a mile for towing for a total amount of $120. They charged me $45 for accident cleanup, although there was no debris and nothing to clean up since both cars were pulled to the shoulder and traffic had resumed. Finally, they charged me an $85 administration fee because they filed a mechanics lien against me three days after the accident. At no point in time did they make me aware of their policies, their three day grace period, or the cost of their services. Neither in person or on the phone was I told him how much I would have to pay in order to release my car, and was never given an invoice until I demanded a copy. They only told me that I would need proof of insurance to have my car released, not that I would also have to pay the balance in full. It wasn't until I received the lien letter that I was made aware of what I owed.
I had to pay a total of $925 to be able to get my car out of storage and get my things out of it. If I had called roadside assistance or any other tow company, the total charges probably would've been two dollars a mile at best, maybe slightly more. I can't imagine that being towed 6 miles would've cost more than $50.
These people will lie to your face and then blame you because you didn't ask the right questions, and tell you they are under no obligation to inform you of anything or to give you any notice before they file a lien. Whether or not this is actually illegal, it's really shady predatory behavior that takes advantage of people who have just been in a major wreck.
If you are ever in an accident, be sure to call your insurance company first, your roadside assistance, anyone but these people. You may end up owing them more than what your car is worth.
If you have your car towed here for any reason, be sure to ask them exactly how much it costs for every single service they provide. In my experience they will go out of their way to make sure you don't know their fees, then hit you with a huge bill shortly after. If you go in to dispute their outrageous fees, you'll be essentially told you "didn't ask the right questions."
Maybe they're great for a tow from A to B who knows. But if your car has to stored there be sure to ask them about every single thing you can, as if you don't they will quickly become predatory and hit you with everything they can, as apparently it is your job to ask them about every single one of their policies.
I Was repossessing a vehicle that was towed by Lawrence pd and was treated like a piece of trash by the owner of lawrence towing. Goes to show you how true the stereotype is of most towing companies to be sleazy cut throat slime balls. I was told Friday that I would have to pay 80$ to have vehicle released once the detective released it. I showed up Monday when the detective released the car and the lady at desk took my 80$ then talked to owner and said no its 85$ is minimum charge. So I then said are you sure because they old me 80 on phone. She said yes and I handed her 5$. Then the owner looks up at me and says well actually we have to charge you for 1 day also. She looks at me and says well actually it's 100$. I was very polite, but when the owner looked at me and said I was lying about the charge and snapped at me saying "I deal with this everyday" I knew I would just have to file a review and contact the better business Bureau. The owner was making the rules as she went and it was obvious. I explained to her I spoke to 2 employees Friday and was told same thing by both of them. She looked at me and said it's 100 dollars. I totally understand them charging for the tow but they can not charge for storage and at the same time not allow you to pick the vehicle up. I picked the vehicle up 10 minutes after it was released by the detective from the police department.
