They really helped me out and fixed a problem that 2 idiots,from another shop couldn't fix in 11 hours. The guys at John's fixed it in about an hour with a more than fair price.
Everyone went above and beyond with service. I had to borrow air compressor twice. Brought in my Jeep for tire to be fixed and had me in and out in half an hour. Everyone is honest and hardworking. Thank you boys 😃
My dad had an issue with his trailer brakes and couldn’t get the lugs off. We happened to be just down the road from John’s Garage. One of the mechanics quickly helped us get the wheel off and let us work in the lot - did not have time to fit us in that day. Great service and wonderful staff. No BS or upselling. Wanted to express our gratitude for the help!

Thanks guys! We will never forget your kindness. John's Garage Inc is amazing. Days before the holidays, they welcomed us and our two dogs into the garage, providing much needed support and assistance with our vehicle during a devastating situation. We had been rearended by a semi on hwy 30 and were all hurt and shaken. The owner himself came out to the accident site and along with the Le Porte Sherriffs, they got us and our dogs safely to the garage. They advised us every step of the way, even providing boxes to unload our vehicle (packed with holiday gifts, etc). They immediately recognized that our vehicle was totaled and rightfully advised us to remove everything we could from our suv, including our license plates, because we would never see it again. These are things we would not have known to do otherwise. They offered us coffee, treats for our dogs, and a couch to rest. I feel like we made some wonderful friends on this frightening day. They were so patient with me personally and with our scared pups, giving them treats and love while my husband did his best to load the contents of our smashed vehicle into boxes. We can not speak highly enough of these extraordinary men. Customers were coming in and out as we waited for a car rental, all of them singing the praises of the skills and reliability of John's Garage.
It took much longer than expected due to the problems we are having with parts nationwide, but repair was done with excellence. My problem was a u-joint that blew everything behind the power divider, parts missing on the road, air line cut and cut wires.
they drove my car while it was in impound and messed up the front end. Stole a brand new pair of shoes from the trunk, a roll of electric tape, and my good ratchet. f this place they have a law suit currently on the way...
Was really helpful. I had car issues and even though they don't work on cars he came out to where I was broke down and got me to the garage by them and confirmed it was the alternator and got me all figured out.

I went into the garage to see if I could get my hitch put together. They dropped what they were doing and took care of me. They did not charge me a dime.How can you top that. This was the second time going to the garage. Great people to do buisness with.
Need more people like this in the repair industry. Honest and very fair on pricing. Got right out to us and had us out of the shop in less than 2 days. Highly Recommend these guys over anyone in the area for sure!
Had a bad coolant leak this morning in and out in less than an hour. Thanks for the great service and getting me back on the road so I didnt miss my pick up in Illinois.
Great shop pulled in there the other day needed to get a clutch adjusted and some tires worked on even though the truck was dripping wet they climbed right underneath took care of business in and out in under 45 minutes.
Amazing place! My alternator went out when I was headed to Chicago. Luckily this place was near by. He showed up about 15 min after I called, jumped my car so I had enough power to get my car to his garage without having to pay the tow fee. He couldn’t get the parts until the next morning. I decided to rent a car to get Home to Chicago that night. He called a car rental place for me to make a reservation and then drove me and my boyfriend to Valparaiso so we could pick up the car. Great experience!
We were moving our daughter and we had a brake line break on our pickup. He let us park our trailer under his cameras for security. He then contacted another garage that would be able to fix the brake line. It was Sunday night and they had it fixed by 10 Monday morning. When you’re traveling it’s always nice to find someone you can trust. Thank you so much for being kind and honest.
I broke down 2 miles from the garage on my way from New Hampshire to Iowa. My alternator crapped out on me and I called him at 430am. He was sleeping but woke right up and came to help. He jumped my car, got me to the garage and gave my battery a full charge for completely free. Overall a great person. Would recommend 10 times out of 10. Thanks again!
We found ourselves stranded at the Grovertown Travel Plaza on Hwy 30 today. The girl at the counter recommended John's garage as a nearby establishment that could help. While they don't work on smaller trucks like ours, Leonard called ahead to find us a facility that cold get us in and back on the road the same day and then came to get us right away. Couldn't ask for better or friendlier service. Thank you!
On 4th of July weekend, they were there to save us from 2 flat tires. He got there quickly, did the work well and we were back on our way for the holiday within the hour at a very reasonable charge. Would highly recommend them.
