They drilled a hole in my head gasket while repairing the valve cover and instead of owning up to it they filled said hole with epoxy, now months later I reap the consequences.
Great local automotive repair shop! They called after diagnosing my car and thoroughly explained what they found and what it would take to fix it. The job was finished within 24 hours, the price was what we were quoted, and the workmanship was excellent!
I went to All American Chevrolet with their invoice of 1700 or more went to Shields automotive here in Dunkirk Indiana their invoice was a little over 1300 and they did an awesome job I recommend them highly what All American Chevrolet in Muncie was trying to do was take advantage of me what they had down on their invoice was not correct of what needed to be done on the car Shields automotive went over my car and found that I needed the lower right and left control arm stabilizer an alignment and they did an awesome job awesome job what Chevy dealership in Muncie was only going to do was the ball joints Shields automotive has got my business for the rest of this car's life if you are looking for a really good place to take your vehicle and not get cheated out of your hard-earned money definitely go to Shields automotive in Dunkirk Indiana ask for Monty
Shields garage has been servicing my parents cars for as long as I can remember & the new owners are great! They repaired my Mom's car quickly & were so friendly as well! The previous owners were awesome & the new owners are as well! 😁
Very knowledgeable mechanics. The waiting room was very clean. A TV to watch while you are waiting. Soda pop and water in a cooler. I was very impressed.

I have been sending my vehicles to shields for over 20 years. They are great people who care about doing their best for the customer. Trust me when I say this, if someone else will do it cheaper, there is a reason. Shields will do it the right way to make sure your not stranded on the side of the road even if it cost a little more…quality work, this is why they are still my go to shop.
Had a problem with another shop and turns out they messed my charging system up well brought my blazer to shields had it back in three days compaired to almost a month will be doing business with them when i need something done. Again thank you guys for everything and how fast you are ill send people to there now for how great they are.
