Attended an evening holy day Mass, it's been several years since I last attended this parish. The candlelight was lovely, the instructions prior to Mass were clear & concise, the church was full yet I felt like there were just a few friendly people around. Now I remember why I enjoyed coming here for those years. Stopped in the Adoration Chapel for a quick visit and was pleasantly surprised to find it almost full, yet reverently quiet and peaceful.

We have been going there for 3 1/2 years now, and everybody we have met have always been so kind to us.

This is a large, pleasant location, with huge crowds on a regular basis. My Catholic friend attends here regularly. I was very fortunate to meet again with a priest, who was previously located in my hometown, before being transferred here. We met again and had a short, pleasant conversation with updates.

No place I'd rather be! Amazing Priests, Deacons, Sisters and staff who are dedicated to serving Jesus and our community. A welcoming parish to all.

I have horrible memories of this place growing up. Lifelong scars & trauma from a place that was supposed to teach love & acceptance are what I remember. People who would rather pour thousands into statues but would only give $20 a year to the poor.

Love my church. My kids go here for classes and they’re enjoying it (except for my son as he has a lot of homework but they were all easy). Kid friendly mass on Sunday morning.

I have been attending this Church for several years, and while I may not agree with all of the homilies, I have generally had a good experience. However, a couple of weeks ago there was a message that was completely appalling. The deacon decided to go into a diatribe about the lies permeating all levels of the media and society. Unfortunately he was not referring to the disaster what used to be the Republican party, but instead about a woman's right to choose, and gender politics. Despite preaching that Christians should convince these people through love, there were still harsh undertones that these people are wrong and should be ashamed of what they have done. This sort of language is what drives people to feel depressed and suicidal about things they have done or think they can't control. The Jesus that I know loves everyone, and I don't believe this is what he wanted.

We love this church and all the priest are wonderful to listen too on Sunday morning. I always get a lot out of what they tell us on Sunday morning.

Beautiful church and a highly engaged congregation! Choir is solid. Priest was very good and his homily was educational and made me reflect. Highly recommend to visitors ( and natives)!

Beautiful church, full of reverence and community. Adoration chapel is a beautiful and holy place to sit in silence and be with Our Lord. My family especially likes attending the 5:30pm Mass on Sundays

An active, large, family friendly parish with dozens of outreach ministries. Proves that the church is still a lively religious experience in a secular world.

This is a very nice church. It is beautiful, friendly, and respectful. The church goers are always really nice and friendly, the priests are funny, smart, and very holy. The aurora is just excellent, and there is just no better church around.

I travel for work. Such a blessing to find OLMC parish nearby. Be able to do my holy hour in front of the Blessed Sacrament every day here because OLMC has perpetual adoration. Will have to make Carmel a stop on my next road trip.

I was traveling for business on an HDO (Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary) and attended Mass. The liturgy was beautiful, reverent, and you truly feel how important this is to the Priest, which flows to the congregation. It feels like the Church was built during that time when they were going "Church in the round" and getting away from beautiful architecture, but they've done a good job of beautifying the place... And again, the reverence for the Mass permeates the liturgy. Excellent song choices and they were sung with the same standard as the rest of the liturgy.

Love this parish! Everyone is so generous and kind. This is where I came to know God, made numerous lifelong friends, volunteered in a variety of ways, met and married my husband, had our children baptized, and hopefully one day where we will send our children to school. It's our home away from home!

Unbelievable Church community. Serves all aspects of community. Huge outreach with Trinity Free Clinic (health care, dental) as well as Matthew 25 center food pantry, clothing, house-wares, etc. I have lived in several states thru past 40+ years. You won't find another Parish like this.

This parish is filled with extremely concerned people. That’s why how the Matthew 25 Center is so important. The breadth of the knowledge of the priests is Also another God given factor. Jesus presence is there with the Cross and Jesus in symbolic form but I’m sure Jesus is there when the church is filled with His people. Father Doerr gives a homily that is poignant for today’s world. We are blessed with his application of the Bible for today’s world. His humor allows him to relate to his parishioners in a family way- often speaking of his brother— also a priest , Father Brian in another parish.. This church has caring people and the Word is always there - sung with the mystery of faith and the Spiritual enhancement of the most beautiful voices of the choir.

Beautiful church with beautiful mass on Christmas Day! The choir was kids under 8th grade and they filled the room with so much joy and happiness! The have an awesome baptismal fount with very artistic tapestries of saints, priests, important figures in the church and descriptive label explaining the story of the tapestry. The side chapel is also very beautiful. The monstrous sits on a stand sitting in sand surrounding it with rocks throughout. I thought this was very artistic and out of the norm which created a new interesting dynamic to the altar the monstrous sit on. Very beautiful church overall with many objects of interests inside. I give it 5 stars due to the atmosphere, people, art, and the baptismal fount! This place is filled with the Holy Spirit! Everyone is happy, talking, singing songs of praise. LOVE IT!

I am a 67 year old cradle Catholic. My wife and I were in town from PA visiting relatives and attended the 11:00 am Mass on Sunday, December 17, 2017. We were both amazed and delighted to count 9 handsome, young male altar servers processing to the altar with the priest. It added such dignity, reverence and power to the celebration of the Mass. It’s been a very long time since we’ve been in a Catholic Church that was completely filled and teeming with children! What a testament to the parish and community at large. It was Gaudete Sunday and we felt there was much to rejoice about at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Upon leaving the Mass my wife commented she’d love to move to Carmel just to be part of such a vibrant faith community. Well done! Michael and Renee Michaud York County, PA

Was a bridesmaid at a wedding here. Lovely service, and the celebrating priest discussed Tolkien in the homily, which gives extra points in my book!
