I thought I was going to be a customer, I have decided they don't care or want my business. I suppose I'll go to Best Buy or try another battery place.. : (

Highly recommend! The products are consistently reliable and reasonably priced and the staff is always friendly, professional, responsive and clearly know their products. I recently purchased a new car battery online for my late model Honda Accord. The website was easy to use and when I arrived at the store, the battery was ready to go. I took advantage of the installation service for the first time and I was very pleased with the entire experience. The job was completed by Sam. He was quick and he paid attention to every detail to ensure the job was done right. Another employee also helped - and they worked well as a team. Everyone seemed to enjoy working at Batteries Plus and I could tell they sincerely cared about their customers. I always appreciate their efficient and expert service.

Poor customer service. Motorcycle Battery lasted 3 starts. Battery stored in heated/air conditioned garage and out of bike when not in use. Back your product. Asked to refill battery or replace would do neither as battery JUST outside warranty window. Never had a battery perform so poorly.

Fantastic customer service experience. Clerk was prompt at serving me. Options to get car fob battery replaced was either $16 or for $24 I could get a lifetime replacement. He was done within a minute.

Stopped in today after work, fully expecting to cough up some money on a new battery after my car started cranking extra slow ever since it got cold. The very nice older gentleman happily came out and tested my battery for me, which came out to a bit low on voltage but otherwise fine and suggested a long drive to recharge the battery more fully. He noticed the corrosion on my battery and suggested a battery terminal cleaner kit, suggesting that the slow cranking may be at least partially due to the poor contact between the posts and the leads. I took him up on the offer to purchase the kit. I was also given a much more reasonable estimate than a dealership on a new set of a transponder and key. I will be back for the additional key. I'm glad Batteries Plus is here in Carmel, saving us all money with good customer service.

The tech only completed the full paid service after I reminded them. They took my battery-core, but forgot to issue the refund on the deposit. When I called them about it, they made me drive back to get the credit card refund. I most definitely didn't feel like a valued customer. It felt more like my buying a battery from them was an interruption of their phone-scrolling time.

Came in with my teen’s severely water damaged phone that she hadn’t backed up for 9 months. Two other businesses had written it off as unsalvageable, but Batteries Plus was willing to try and look at it for their usual diagnostic fee and I was quoted an incredibly reasonable amount for possible cost of repairs. While the damage was extensive, they were able to replace the screen and get it backed up so she didn’t lose months of photos and information and it’s working much better than I would have imagined after all she’s inflicted on it.

In June ordered a starter. Once it was in I was informed I had to come in Monday-Friday between 10-5 since there had to be 2 people in the store. I informed them I work so it would be awhile before I could come in during those times. Went in and they no longer had my starter. They either sold it or sent it back. Wasted my time twice now. Will not return.

Great way to get new auto battery installed! I ordered online on a Sunday morning, got installation appt same afternoon. Store associate called me soon after to to prevent any misunderstanding about my location since I'm traveling out of state - nice touch! Installation was on-time, efficient, and friendly... with a great BarBQ place nearby while he did all the work. Easy & most convenient battery replacement, faster than the auto service chains or dealerships, with a national presence of locations if there's ever a warranty issue. Price was comparable to other sellers too. Already recommend BatteriesPlus to family & friends, now I'm tellin' you too!

I went to this store to see if they had a weather radio and a battery tester. The store was nicely laid out and easy to find what I was looking for. There were two employees at the counter. Both were very nice and professional. I was able to get my questions answered about the weather radio. The small battery-battery tester was on sale and I was glad they carried it. I asked one young guy (didn't get his name but black hair and was tall), about bringing in my phone to get a screen protector fixed and he was very helpful. Not super busy, prices reasonable, knowledgeable employees too. I will be back! Highly recommend.

Andrew was very helpful. I had called in advance and he answered my questions and he also did an excellent job replacing my key fob batteries. I am so excited about the lifetime warranty that is available. Thanks to his mentioning it, I bought it for both key fobs.

Andrew was so helpful when it came to getting me the right car battery for my mini cooper as well as installing it for me. It was a much more involved process than anticipated so his willingness to be in the cold for 30 minutes was much appreciated. I would definitely come here again. He also showed me how to jump my car if needed without having to take a bunch of things out. Thank you, Andrew!

I have been going to Batteries Plus Bulbs for a long time for all my battery needs, long before they added 'bulbs' to their name. The folks in the store are sincerely interested in their customers and would have to rate their customer service as excellent. Their batteries are good value. I have been paying a little extra when I replace a battery for my watches (about 6 of them!) for the first time in these items - by which future replacements are free - essentially a lifetime battery program. It is great. The staff is very helpful.

Honestly I figure out what happened to the screen protector and I actually apologize for my behavior before I found out what happen. However some people still have poor customer service and so I will raise my rating to a 2 but still won’t come back. Maybe I am not worth a screen protector but y’all ain’t worth my business either

My experience here wasn't the best. This was my second time using this chain. My first was at another location, which had been great. I came after work on a Friday, as this was back in March 2020 right as Covid panic was taking off. I wanted to get my Iphone battery replaced because there was so much uncertainty, and my phone always dying wasn't reassuring. Anyhow, I dropped my phone off with the young guy who was working the counter, & he said it would take about an hour. With time to kill, I drive over to the CVS across the street to shop & stock up on essentials (they still had toilet paper!) and get gas. Near the hour mark, I headed back over. Except when I arrived the door was locked. I thought that was odd because they were supposed to be open. I was worried that they had forgotten & closed without giving me back my phone.. The lights were still on, so I went back to my car and waited. It took at least 15+ minutes (I timed it) until finally someone walked back over & unlocked the door. I figured maybe he had been using the restroom, but then again, I saw someone else in the back room, & also I heard someone cussing. Normally I wouldn't care, it was just a bit jarring to hear it in a workplace. Anyhow, at this point, it was awkward & I was just waiting for the guy to go get my Iphone so I could check out. The experience was just not pleasant. Also, the battery only lasted about 6 months, if that. I don't blame the chain for that, but it just wasn't a great product. I ended up getting an OEM battery at the Apple Store around October 2020. That also lasted around 6 months so I traded up after that. I had a great experience at the other location with my car keyfob battery, so I'm not discounting their chain, but I probably would refrain from going to this location again if the same person is working there. Edit: I did go here again twice for car key fob changes. Both times were pleasant and quick. I’ve therefore changed my rating to 4 stars from 2. I believe the initial encounter must have been an aberration.

I went to the Carmel store and they were very rude, mean, and nasty! I then called the Lafayette rd Batteries Plus and they helped me and put my battery in with no problem! THEY WERE NICE, PROFESSIONAL AND HELPFUL! I called corporate on the Carmel store. They were not friendly at all! And I will never go back to the Carmel STORE AGAIN!! 5 stars FOR THE LAFAYETTE RD STORE ZERO STARS FOR THE CARMEL STORE THUMBS DOWN

I had two watch batteries replaced. Out of sheer curiosity, I asked the worker if the o ring in my watch looked ok. It is a sport watch and it is supposed to be water resistant. He informed me that he didn’t replace the o ring because they don’t warranty water resistance. So, to be clear, he made it less resistant to water, didn’t inform me of that, and I hadn’t asked about it, I would have left without the o ring he took out. Needless to say, I went to a jewelry store to have the watch fixed after this place.

Rude costumer service. Bought lawn mower battery on line an hour before it closed. Got there 30 minutes before it closed. No one there other than cashier. I walk in and tell him I purchased a battery online about 30 minutes ago. He asked if I received an email confirmation saying my order was ready. I said I hadn’t but I came anyway because they closed in 30 minutes. He started giving me lip about not waiting for my confirmation. I explained that I knew they closed in 30 minutes so i came after placing the order, plus the website clearly stated the battery was in stock . He then told me the website doesn’t tell you if it is in stock or not and started telling me I was wrong over and over, even though he was clearly wrong and ignorant about the website for the store. The three guys working there at the time were excellent. I purchased a new battery for my Tacoma, which was supposed to fit just as the previous one. However, on install, the new battery turned out to be a bit tall for the factory tie-down bracket, which we discovered wasn’t adjustable, because well… Toyota. But Henry took the extra time and effort to work out a solution for me, and I drove off ready to go. I like the vibe in this store. You don’t need to know exactly what you’re looking for—just walk in and these guys will walk you through it.

My experience at batteries plus is that of flawless execution. The four associates I have encountered are textbook examples of customer service. Henry was informative and knowledgeable when making a purchase on a car battery. His quick installation was paramount to my experience. Tony, the expert repair technician, was able to diagnose my IPhone 8 issue and provided a speedy and cost efficient repair. Quintin was able to match a foreign bulb that couldn’t be found elsewhere. While they didn’t have it in stock he was able to have to bulb delivered in an effective manor. The manager Marissa has trained these boys well. A one stop shop for all your needs is almost guaranteed.

Marissa is amazing! I inquired about a hard to get battery specific for my vehicle application, especially with the cold front that was coming and a battery that could barely start my vehicle. She understood my concern and without asking went above and beyond to get me my battery as soon as possible and even had the battery maintainer that they did not have in stock. Shipped to my house within 48 hours. Thank you for the amazing service and product!

Worked with one of the employees, Marissa, to replace my battery that had died today (replacing the battery on a Chevy HHR is not simple). She was positive and a go-getter, making my experience even more positive. The rest of the staff were cheerful and very helpful. Would definitely use their services again!

Easy purchase. Never purchased a car battery from Batteries Plus but the price was very competitive, the cold cranking amps was good and the warranty was good. They installed for free with no problem, even hooked up a device so I didn't lose my automatic presets on the radio when the battery was disconnected. Would recommend.

I purchased a car battery. Ordering on the web was easy and convenient. I received a notice via email that the battery was ready to be picked up. The technician was courteous, very helpful, and installed the battery properly, but after driving out of the parking lot, I realized the battery was not charged up before it was installed. I started receiving error messages advising me to check my charging system. Fortunately, I was able to drive home before the battery conked out. I then did a trickle charge on the battery for 24 hours. Following that charge, the battery has worked properly, and I am no longer receiving error messages about the charging system. In summary, everything was great except that the battery wasn't charged-up before the email notification was sent to me from battery plus. That's the reason for the three star rating. Everything else was perfect, and I think I have a good quality battery.
