I got stranded in my dance yard taking him to a doctor appointment. I called and Lincoln came out polite, professional and was able to get me towed out in no time with no damages to my car. I would recommend Tom's towing and Lincoln any day. Thanks again Lincoln
Wow, these guys towed my wrig in from a breakdown, diagnosed and repaired it in the same day, all for a reasonable price! I wish I could give 10 stars. The amount of down time saved for my company has been unreal. I will be using them again and sugesting friends and family in the elkhart and surounding areas do the same.
I had to call a tow truck to get my son's truck out of a ditch at 12:00AM. Toms answered right away and made it to our location within 45 minutes. Our driver Lincoln was nice. Though there were some hiccups, Lincoln and his co worker got the job done. Great job guys.
The employee who gave me a tow was incredibly helpful and quick. They arrived on scene minutes after a the initial call. They’re also very reasonably priced.

Tried to get one of our box trucks jumped as our driver had a residential visit. I called them and they said they would be able to take care of it and be on site in 45 minutes It’s now three hours later I have not received an update, nor have they answered their phones. When their phone goes to voicemail it’s full so you’re not able to leave a message. This business is super unprofessional, and I will NEVER pay for any service they offer
I called these guys to tow a forklift an hour away. They came through with same day (a couple of hrs) service. Communication throughout was seamless. Lincoln showed up, polite as all get out, while he stayed productive. A1 professional experience from start to finish. And lastly, priced accordingly. Nice, tight ship, as business should be. 100% recommend & I wouldn't hesitate to use them again if I'm in the area. Thanks!

Needed a car towed and Lincoln not only was there quicker then Usain Bolt runs the 100 he was polite and went above and beyond in the customer service area, highly recommend using Toms Towing when its needed
Was going to have them tow me to a shop due to some serious vehicle issues. When they arrived, they took the time to understand what my issue was and actually had enough insight to get to vehicle started enough to not need a tow! Whole process was fast, well done and incredibly well priced. Will absolutely use them in the future!
April 2023 I was traveling across the country and had broken down on the side of a toll road on a Saturday. No other businesses were able to assist us and Tom’s was able to send employee Lincoln to us right away! They were able to recommend different auto repair locations to get our vehicle fixed. Hospitality was amazing and would recommend for locals or anyone in need to use Tom’a for towing. Thank you Lincoln.
Landed my Polaris Ranger Crew in a drainage ditch with two snapped CV Axles and two snapped tire rod ends on Christmas Eve! I called two other companies one hung up on me and the other company said they will only come out if we have a police report since it’s the “holiday”! I then called Tom’s out and they were at my location within 15min and did an excellent job! (To update I upgraded my stock oem to monster axles and replaced the tie rod ends!) Thank you again!

Great towing company! I honorably served in the Army and retired back to Elkhart. The lady on the phone was generous and discounted me for being a veteran. The tow truck operator was very polite and careful when loading and unloading my old high school first car “Toyota Supra” from Marcellus, Michigan and delivered to Elkhart, Indiana. I called around and got misleading answers from other towing companies for the needs of loading my car being the low ride height suspension without damages. I highly recommend this company over all the other companies in the Michigan area! Absolute best towing company I’ve worked with.
Everyone I dealt with here was very kind to me after my first ever accident, from the quick and professional tow truck operator at the scene to the office staff who answered everything about the paperwork for the insurance. They're good people.
Called around for a headlight assembly waiting to hear back from toms to price match. They wanted $55. For a headlight for an 01 aztek.... I found one for $25 and could have ordered online with shipping and handling for less. Trying to get rich off of junk lol
Called pleasant conversation with the gentleman who answered. I didn't have a physical address and he stated he knew exactly where I was located. I asked how soon should I be there to meet him? He said you are the customer How can we help you. In 15 mins tow taken care of! Great customer service! would recommend.
If I could give this place negative stars I would. They were very rude, would hang up on you or name call. Even if you had all the right paperwork for a vehical they would refuse to let you get your vehical the same day because they wanted to keep it longer for extra money.
worst customer service I have ever experienced! They were extremely rude, I was not aloud to speak or explain anything! When I did ask a question, they responded with name calling and disrespect. They have absolutely no customer service skills, everyone should stay as far away from Tom's Auto salvage as possible!
The place is a rip off, I mistakenly had my wrecked car towed there after an accident that happened Saturday mid afternoon. I went there Monday to get my personal belongings from the car and sign the car over for scrap. I mistakenly thought I may get a few dollars from the car. Nope, they charged all kinds of fees including 3 days storage plus an administrative fee. I found out later the administration fee is for them submitting a request for the title in case the car is financed. I handed them the title on the spot, no administration there. Oh three days storage lets see, Saturday afternoon to Sunday afternoon 1 day, Sunday to Monday 1 day. 1+1 =2 not 3 In the end, I did not get one penny for the car, but owed them $50 for a bogus administration fee.
I would not recommend this scrap yard to anyone and would encourage everyone to avoid it.
