Amazing care. We broke down along the road in kentland 3 hours from home. I called Dorsey at Whicker car care, I was able to get a tow to his shop and he addressed the problem right away and had me back on the road. Both servicemen that I dealt with were knowledgeable and polite.
I go here for all of my car repairs and services. Dorsey is a great guy. The mechanic, Dave, is amazing and honest. Prices are reasonable and fair. They do not over charge, and they stand behind their repairs. I highly recommend this shop.
Broke down on my way to northern Indiana, had my car towed there. Fixed my car way cheaper than I was expecting AND his wife picked me up from the bus stop in Rensselaer since I was riding the bus from Gary back home to Indy. They went above and beyond helping me out! If I lived closer, Whicker’s would be my full time mechanic. Highly recommend to anyone in the area or anyone traveling through who breaks down.
I broke down on 16 and not even 5 minutes the owners had shown up and I did not call them, he towed my car and took my son and I home! I will always use this company!
They're good people and don't try to screw you out of your money. Will actually try to save you money and that's rare to find nowadays. I always take my car here.
The folks at Whicker were extremely courteous, kind, fast, and very helpful to my family who had car trouble while traveling through from Chicago back home to Bloomington, Indiana. I'd call on these guys before anyone else!
