I call to confirm they take chest freezers, "Yes we do". I get down there then they tell me I have to remove the compressor before they'll take it. Yes that's right they didn't mention that when I called them and waited until I showed up with the chest freezer to tell me that. Thanks for wasting my time.
This place is a joke. 4 hours trying to get a load of scrap. Absolutely hate coming here. Only place I’ve ever been that can turn a 30 minute job into 4+ hours…….. JOKE!!!!!!
This place is helpful. They give fair pricing and do not try to rip you off like the others around here. Always like going in here with my scrap metal.
I took a rear-end from my 92 Lincoln Town car. This thing after I drained out all the fluids weighed a good 250 lbs. I got $10. Every time I go there I feel like I've been ripped off. At least they are nice as they rip me off or at least until you try and stand up for yourself. If I can help it I will never go back. I have also seen other reviews and well I'm not the only person that feels that way.
Just wasted half my day. I called this company before wasting 30$ in fuel and time to make sure what I had on price was correct and told them what I had. They told me 2.50 for the copper flashing that came off the roof and had some stuff on it and the same price for the copper that was cut offs and brand new. When I get there they told me 85 cents for the copper that was old and 2.50 for what was new. I have a scrap yard 5 minutes from my house that gave me 2.46 for old copper with silicone etc all over it. Will not be wasting the trip all the way to this place anymore.
We won't ever go there again we were there waiting 30 minutes and the workers back their were rude didn't want to help all the cared about was going home three other people got turned away it was a joke going there poor customer service. Never again.
Very disappointed. Called ahead to confirm prices for some extruded aluminum. Was quoted a price of .80 /lb. We explained exactly what we were brining in and they confirmed the price. After unloading 1245 lbs of aluminum they advised that they could only pay .50 /lb. When I explained that I was quoted .80 /lb and that a bait and switch was not acceptable they called the owner who then suggested that they doc the quote further because they had to cut the aluminum up to process it for resale.
We loaded all of the aluminum back into our truck and found an honest recycling facility and was able to get .72 / lb.
Would not recommend them and not use them again. If you get a quote you better get it in writing and confirm it before you unload.

Cinco has horrible prices on scrap. Everytime I go there I feel like I'm ripped off after I leave. I always check the price of scrap before I go and they give me way less than it's worth. They are making a lot of money off of everyone. Would not recommend to anyone
I love simco all my family goes there and I take my neighbors there it is an easy way to get rid of cans without throwing them away it is good for the environment and they give you a little bit of money for them too
You have to be careful recycling here. Weigh your metals before you go, and your container for good measure. They've made errors a few times. I recycle almost exclusively brass and aluminum as a byproduct of my job and on this most recent trip they gave me "breakage" instead of "aluminum" for clean aluminum hard drive shells. First time they've ever tried to tell me it wasn't pure aluminum. This trip will be my last, and I will be finding another place to recycle metals.
Make sure that u check the receipt showing the scrap that u had because I had 10 pounds of number 1 copper wire and the guy that weighed my scrap didn't put it on my list of scrap that he took to the women who pay u the money and i didn't know this until I got home and I looked at my receipt showing the list of scrap and the amount I got paid
Never can operate a scale right. I weigh my stuff before hauling every time. I usually go to T&T in Hurst but was short in time today. 20 minutes cost me 20 bucks. The guy running the scale was ripping off items before I even had everything on the scale. They dont hand you a ticket anymore either like they used to. Extreme lack of transparency. After 4 years of not going here I got a stout reminder of why I dont.
I've gon a couple times. I like how organized and direct they are , i just wished they would come about and help me unload , I didn't know I had to ask , other than that. Good place I like it.
Scale operator was crabby. Scale was not marked in and out or only One direction. 6/1/2019. I unloaded a truck and trailer by hand. Then took two batteries around to the other side of the building. Spent more time waiting on all the employees standing around shooting the bull . Need employees out there that will get the job done not standing around a gaylor talking. Meanwhile many vehicles in the bay waiting to get their aluminum brass copper batteries excess Wade # Lbs on scale Terrible service!!!
Will no longer waste my time here, your lazy employees and crappy ran business have encouraged me to haul the extra 10 - 15 miles to t&t where they will let me unload from open to close..... You guys just lost a couple hundred pounds of copper due to your employee not allowing me to unload because he had lunch coming up in 10 minutes..... It shouldn't have taken any more than 10 minutes to unload (which they will not help you do here like other yards) and cash me out.... I have not had a good experience at this yard since about a year after it opened and have called them out red handed on weights being off as i had already weighed a load i was taking in.... took it to Hurst and their scales matched my calibrated scales on the same load because i refused to sell it when i saw the weight he wrote on the ticket..... BAD BUSINESS ALL THE WAY AROUND.... This yard will be closed in the coming years, they are already showing signs of it...... THIEVES AND LIARS RUN THIS PLACE
