Giving them a 1 star because I was driving down cermak road and one of the tow trucks was beeping at everyone and was just driving around with their lights on HIGH the whole way. Very unprofessional and very disrespectful. This is ridiculous get better employees
One of their drivers was too busy texting at a red light and he didn’t realize it until the light had turned green until it already turned yellow, I’m not sure how they do things In Illinois but in New York it’s illegal to text and drive. If the owner of the company would like dashcam footage please drop and email and I’ll happily provide it.
Bought used cottrell car carrier trailer from them (55k). As they claimed trailer is ready for the road. I took it to the shop for inspection. Had to pay $6500 for the service cause every replaceable parts had to be replaced (break pads, rotors, shocks, ABS sensors etc). There was no any service done ever on the trailer they sold me. Called them and tried to work this out, they told me to do something with the issue and never called me back.
This place makes buying a quality truck easy. Dominic went above and beyond to help answer any questions I had. If he tells you a truck is in good shape you believe him. He even outfitted the truck with everything needed to be legal and go towing. They definitely earned my business and won't hesitate to buy another from them. I appreciate everyone.
You hear so many different stories. No trucks around anywhere so I took a ride today to get educated. Dominic went above and beyond his duties today. He took the time to walk me through the process. He had a lot of trucks that are sold. Waiting to get picked up. We turned the corner and I saw a pretty truck. Used not abused. He took the time to walk around the truck with me. I had a few questions and comments. He handed me the application and I was out-of there within 20 minutes. No pressure. I really appreciate your taking the time to educate me. Best company hands down if you're looking to buy a truck. I've bought 3 trucks from Dave and it's always been the best prices out there and great communication. Dave even responded to my texts when he was on vacation.
will be buy my equipment else where in the future, purchased a truck and they claimed they went through the truck for safety and come to find out now that I have the truck 6 months later and several thousands of dollars that they didn't do a thing. if your in the market for a truck go somewhere else. I could have gotten into an accident or killed someone and it's all because I trusted worldwide Equipment Sales

If I could give it a zero I would. Called in about a truck posted for sale, negotiated a price on it, and sent over credit card information for the down payment. Called the next week to get wire transfer information and now they sold the truck out from under me to a friend who hasn’t even decided if he wants the truck. Not to mention on Friday when I spoke to Dominic, he told me the “friend” we needed to wait on never spends that kind of money on trucks so not to worry about it. So here I am thinking I have a deal done on a truck because I have sent over a deposit, driver license information, and most astonishingly signed a purchase order on the truck!... But once again called this morning, now Tuesday to literally transfer money and their friend MIGHT want it. Pathetic customer service. Very very disappointed. Thank you world wide for nothing but a waste of time and headache dealing with your very unprofessional sales people.

They didnt meet the deadline, over promised and under delivered. Yes I am aware its a big job, but I also expect them to be professional and they are not. BOB, the service manager, I think he is now at LYNCH chicago. Dropped the ball, and messed my truck up even more. When I brought them the truck the gauges worked well they dont now at all. Truck over heated with miles of pulling it out of their facility, they nickeled and dimed me at every opprtunity even for their mistakes. The best part of all this Bob looked at my drivers and said he isnt interested in helping charity cases, I dont know when people spend 12k at a shop that they are considered a charity case. I was very upset when I heard this and calmly called Pat weiner, the former owner and upper management of Worldwide trucks. He was calm and said he would address the issue with Bob and call me back. Well tthat was 8 months ago, I am still waitng on a phone call. Story gets better, so since the service manager displayed his inept ability to provide quality customer service, honestly, comomon decency, and even give me back my truck in the same condition. I took it to another shop because of the damage of slapping the motor and trans together i ultimately spent another 11k to fix their sloppiness, and have been insulted.
I have contacted an attorney.....
The truck I wanted had an ABS issue that would make it fail the inspection. Jason the sales manager did everything to get the truck fixed.
After the truck went back and forth to the International dealership, I was not able to wait any longer on International to fix it. I ended up buying another truck from their competition.
I still thankful to Jason because he did everything to help me since the financial process. Plus, I always spend big bucks there and they have any type of equipment.
These guys are always honest and helpful. I have called Bob in service so many times he recognizes my voice, but he always helps me out whether I am bringing a truck in for repairs or looking for parts or advice. Love these guys. They always have what I need, and if not they ship it out quickly.
I will definitely be buying my next truck from here.
I want to thank the guys at Worldwide Equipment for great customer service. Every time I order parts they are always prompt on getting them shipped asap. Id like to thank Rich and Bob for answering my phone calls and helping me figure out what was wrong with my truck. Not many guys that you can call on a Saturday night to help you figure out what is wrong with your truck. Also not may places where you get good customer service after a sale but you do here for sure!
I wouldn't recommend getting any products from Minuteman Manufacturing. I've owned 4 different units from these people and had nothing but problems. They use Chinese steel that rusts and corrodes out horribly. I've had a Dynamic 701 for 3 years now with not one issue. I went with the minuteman bumper last year because it's a heavy duty practical bumper, so I thought. The bumper has completely rusted out inside the safety chain compartments. There was absolutely no powder coating applied there whatsoever. Quinn the owner refuses to warranty the bumper. You assume that minuteman manufacturing being from Michigan, they should realize that you can't have raw steel exposed to our winter environment. It's called Road Salt! Word to the wise ! Don't buy their poor quality junk !
This is a great place to buy equipment, but more than that service is top notch. They were able to help me with my truck in no time. They were quick and professional. Unlike other places where you wait for years to get in the shop and more years to get fixed, they do it fast and they do it right. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for great service.

this place is the worst. I wish I would have read the reviews first. My sales guy was my best friend the whole time, until I made it home with truck, cost me almost 4k to make it State Inspected. another 3k for Regen issues and the truck is still not right. I tried to work things out with dealership before posting and they would not do anything, I paid the exact price they were asking. They took the money, but never stood by anything. Everything in this post are true facts, with full documentation to back it up. I would not buy anything from these people. And for the guy who bought less than $100.00 worth of straps, try spending almost 60k on a used truck and dump another 7k in it, and posting these people are great. That's a joke, anybody can sell you straps.
Great Service Rich And Bob The service and Parts Managers are the best they know how to take care of their customers, If we ever have a issue with any of are trucks we give them a call and they tell us to bring it it now, their people in the service department are great and do a excellent job on you trucks..........
Best new tow trucks hands down in illinois. I personally didn't buy a truck but the company does. They dont hack together trucks like another company does. They put the time and effort in to give you the exact truck you want.
World wide equipment has made a life time customer of me. They have the best deals on tow trucks that I can find. Dave the sales man always puts together nice trucks.
Rich in the parts department is the best parts guy I have ever come across. When something is wrong with a truck Rich always seems to be able to trouble shoot the problem with me over the phone and solve it. He has A LOT of patience and is a true gentleman. When you buy parts or towing supplies from Rich you always get a better deal than AW direct and or another place I have purchased from. I wish there was a place like this in New York.
4 out of 4 used trucks bought from world wide have went down in less than a month one trans a motor and I can keep going got trucks home to fine almost no oil in one and so on I daubt they even check them b4 the go on the lot.
And beware of the biggest scum bag of sales men Lenny he is the nicest guy in the world when buying from him but when your truck goes down he will be the exact opposite.
I wish I could give sales and quality of used trucks 1 star and give service and parts 5 stars the guys in the shop are awesome and honest it's like night and day.
