They have been very helpful. The company that sent me to them had called and let them know the problem and they were ready when I walked in the door. They said they will try to fit me in so that I can get on the road once the hitch rail comes in.
Worst unprofessional people I’ve ever met I was in an accident they treated me like a criminal. I had to call the police to retrieve my items they wouldn’t let me back but when the police arrived they let me. Then I come to get my car towed out and they don’t take Apple Pay they said they take only cards so my husband drove to pay it then they said oh we only take cash they are liars this place needs to be shut down worst experience ever they acted like they wanted to keep my car m, oh and they charged me 675 after my car was in there only 1 day. Ive read other reviews and it looks like the owner has an explanation for everything instead of apologizing he would rather have a rude explanation. Oh and by the way the towe company that came to towe my car says this place has bad attitudes, bad service so I’m not the only one that feels this way maybe you should read your reviews Mr owner that can’t run his own business stay humble. This is not the way to run a business I will be reporting to the BBB fyi owner please don’t comment under my post your subjective opinion is not needed.
Don’t you dare call them! They spend 1.5 hour to arrive only 2 miles, because the start charging since they receive a call. They try to cuss you because you stuck at low clearance place, then they almost broke my trailer trying to pull it with brakes set, then they spend 30+minutes thinking how much to charge. Avoid at all cost!
DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!!!! I REPEAT DO NOT USE!!!!! CALLED FOR A TOW/TIRE CHANGE The tow person came out and said that he can change the tire so I’m like OK we can do that if I’m able to drive home, but I originally asked for a tow. I get ready to drive off can’t move due to my control arm being messed up, which I had already told him, but trusting his professional expertise he said he could change the tire so he had to come back because he drove off without making sure it was drivable or Securely put on. When he came back, he told me I would have to pay full price for the tow. I was confused as to why when I originally said when he got there The first time let’s just tow it. I felt totally taken advantage of as a woman. So I called the next day to talk to the owner. He talked over me. He was very rude and he said it was nothing he could do. We called for a tire change and that’s what they did. He didn’t let me say anything. He talked over me and he said that their guys are not mechanics. I tried to explain to him that if I asked for a tow or tire change if he couldn’t properly change the tire to just tow it, they charged me for the tow full price In full price for the tire change, even though they didn’t make sure I was able to drive off. The owner was extremely extremely rude and would not let me get one word in He gave off racial vibes And I’m someone who do not like to leave bad reviews. I felt so taken advantage of. He wasn’t willing to refund the tire change or to accommodate me in anyway.
Worst towing company. Would not let me collect my possessions from the car after a deadly accident although there was no hold on my vehicle. My insurance said they would pay for the tow and sent them assurance of this but they refused to listen and I had to pay to get my belongings back. They broke the tie rod on my car, destroyed my front bumper by scraping it and damaged the oil cooler. Horrible customer service, extremely rude balding dude at the desk. Karma will get you one day, I’ll be sure to file a report with the BBB and local authorities.
PREDATORY TOWING SCAM!! My son was in an accident and ended up in a ditch. The police dispatched this tow company. I requested to have to towed to my home, the tow driver refused and insisted that it be towed to their yard. I declined and said I will call a different tow company which is well within my rights. The driver said I don’t have that right and was going to tow without my consent. I had to physically place myself in front of our vehicle so he wouldn’t take it. I then called Rendal’s and they finally said they would tow it to my home (less than 10 miles away) for $450!!!! Luckily the police officer was there and told the driver I can choose my own towing. I called a towing company I was familiar with and they showed up within an hour and only charged me $170. The driver of Randel’s was extremely rude and unprofessional with the way he handled the situation. I’ve never had this kind of experience with towing company before.
Rendel's was able to repair a broken leaf spring on my trailer quickly and economically. The people I interacted with were kind and professional, the work was top notch. I will be back for other trailer repair needs, thank you.
I normally dont leave reviews but i definitely just wanted to share my experience. At this point looking for the right vehicle is super difficult because everyone is trying to oversell it or hide the flaws and it gets really frustrating but my experience with these fine people really made it easier. Super helpful staff that took the time to personalize the experience and went above and beyond to make sure i was taken care of. Ill be honest unfortunately i wasnt able to make the purchase because i just live to far away for it to work out but while i was shopping around i was seriously impressed with the customer service I recieved. I will definitely keep them on my radar for future endeavors and i highly recommend them for anyone in the area. Thank you guys for being such a great team.
A driver from this company almost rearended my vehicle several times and continued to ride my bumper in stop and go traffic. Clearly, he has no respect for the rules of the road or this company. From another review, it seems that this company has some rude and in my case, dangerous people working there. I guess he thought it was funny to pull so close his headlights weren’t visible. But it did make it easier to take his picture. Contemplating filing a report.
November 1 i was looking to buy a 18.000 dollar piece of equipment as I'm leaving the parking lot. They are pulling rockers in and a tall bald. Gentlemen had a few choice words for me and I wasn't even in the way. And I don't.
Appreciate it. I have been a long time customer.And I don't think I'll be going back there anymore....

I am a freight broker of 9 years. I ended up in a bind because there was another towing/wrecking company who my customer asked me to use (preferred emergency towing). They didn't show up TWICE and stole $1000 deposit from us that we are still trying to get back!
Pete was so so great! He was so kind and understanding. He went out of his way and pulled two of his guys out of the field who were working on other projects to help me get my customer's equipment loaded onto my drivers truck! I can't thank him enough and one of his drivers that I was in communication with as well, Justin (I think was his name) They were just unbelievably kind, helpful and made the rest of what started out as a shit show into smooth sailing!

Pete at Rendel's was an absolute life saver for my wife and I. He took such great care of us. He saved us a bunch of money by creating a solution that we were not aware of. Super honest and fast! Would not go anywhere else!!
Poor experience all around. Driver dropped my motorcycle while driving to the dealership. I was also charged for 2 tows after bringing my bike 10 minutes from the site of pickup. It was explained to me that since the bike wasn’t being brought to their yard I need to pay a second fee. Dishonest and unprofessional.
I've been coming to Rendels for 8 years and only trust my vehicles with them. Every time I go to someone else, I regret it!
As a woman, it was impossible to find mechanics that didn't take advantage of my ignorance about vehicles and charge me outrageous amounts. Until I found Rendels!
The team at Rendels is always so polite, THEY LISTEN, only looks at the problem I come in for, explains things clearly, and fixes it at a reasonable price. It's everything a lady could ask for in a mechanic. And if you're a guy, I'm sure you'll appreciate them too.

The worst vendor in the city of Joliet just hold vehicles that don't belong to you with someone working on the unit. Pick up the phone and call you have no right to the vehicle with a driver and vendor at the unit, claims it was just left there and it wasn't. DO NOT USE THEM THEY ARE SCAMMERS!

If you want to spoil your day then is the company to call. They have ties with Police and they take advantage of that. They don't talk ,they threaten people Like if you don't pay we are impounding your truck. Charged 3550 in only 30 Mins. Worst Towing Ever.
For a police call out for a trailer hung up on a retaining wall, the cost was reasonable for the area. There was not excessive billing hours for the job. Thank you for being honest and not taking advantage of the situation!!
Excellent service, I went in for a rebuild inspection on my e92 M3 and they were straight forward and thorough! Came back a second time as the first time was in my case to find out what needed to get fixed came back second time with everything fixed and I was on my way. Didn’t get charged for final inspection, great experience.
Do not call or use this company to town your semi truck. Big ripoff $1.830 for 21 miles. He was not able to wait for a check to get clear. Stump like a girl and took the truck away. What an attitude for a company like that, treating one of the biggest transportation companies in US with that disrespect. The driver had bad attitude not friendly, he had some stomach cramps or probably he has some issues at home. Totally disrespect for your truck and for the truck drivers, he left my airlines hanging, put the drive shaft inside my cabin dripping oil. That’s ok but you know karma is a B….
I want to give 0 stars but google do not allow me to do that. Doesn’t matter what you’re going to say, the real thing is you have to charge a lot to keep your expensive toys. What a way to treat your customers.
Horrible customer service. Son had an accident, Joliet PD had them pick it up. They wouldn't tow to our shop (literally 2.3 miles away from their location). They towed it in at 4:20pm, closed at 4:30pm, said there wouldn't be time to process transfer vehicle out. Thursday was Thanksgiving and said no admin would be there to process vehicle out. $50 "admin" fee, $80 (2x $40 a day) "storage" fee because they wouldn't let us get it Wednesday or Thursday. This review will only make them laugh, I'm sure, but it was a total bogus situation where they took advantage of my son.
Used Rendel's West for repair on my car, it looks amazing. Everyone was super friendly. Pete went above and beyond in helping on following through making sure I got my car back when promised. I strongly recommend them. Would suggest to my family and if I need services again (and I hope I don't ) I would go there again. Thanks again Pete and staff!!
This place is very unethical! My truck suddenly stopped working on I-55. Since I was causing traffic the state police call the tow service. When this company arrived it was stated to take my truck one mile away to a truck stop. Against my will, this person took me to their shop and immediately removed the keys from the truck. My mechanics were there but of course they did not allowed to check anything. They did this in conjunction with the Illinois State Police so they can charge a lot more money! At the end just for towing my truck out of the highway and a few miles to their shop against my will they charge me $750.00. If you ever need a tow seek for other options! The owner of this place should be ashamed for their poor level of integrity.
Sad to say even though they towed my car because of the police, I can say everyone was very respectful. They even help me put my stuff back on my car so I can drive away safely. If anyone needs services done here I will tell them too. Great customer service this company has. I read a lot of bad reviews and I check it out myself and the company deserves more love and care. Thank you for keeping my 2014 camaro safe and thank you for not having stuff stole from my car like other towing places do!
