Very prompt, kind, and professional. I needed a tow but when the tow truck arrived our vehicle then decided it would start. I was a bit embarrassed but the driver Domo said "no worries at all! Believe it or not, but it happens all the time!" He even wanted to follow us home to make sure we arrived safely. Thanks again Domo!

My starter went out on my Box Truck at the gas pump. They came out and replaced it. Fast and friendly service. I won’t say what it cost but I got a great deal. Thanks Gonzalo’s Towing Service.

Before you go in there, check reviews. As one guy said, 1 star is gift for them. We brought the truck on Thursday they told us they got part that evening. We waited from 3pm to next day noon to get estimate. That is 21 hour for estimate. Once we got it I told them that I need to apply for an approval because labor is expensive. When I called with an approval they told me it will be on Monday. At that time it was Friday, 2pm. They should be able to get it done that day. I told them we are not going to repair there and I send driver to pick up the truck. They blocked trailer and charged us $250 for "estimate"(never mentioned that we have to pay). Called police because of our driver and officer told us to go around their place next time. Police not even recommend them. They are liars. They had a lot of complaints on this shop. DO NOT USE THEM!

Had to have my RV towed To a body shop in Rockford il and Gonzalo Towing come out and help Mr Gonzalo and I believe it Dom that came out both were very professional, very courteous very friendly they both did a great job, hooking it up towing it to Rockford and everything my brother and I were really pleased

I would like to thank Gonzalo's towing for being the only towing company that would come out and tow my Massey Ferguson farm tracker with the busheacker!! Thank you so much!! Highly recommend!!

Please let this place be your last option! Long story short. They weren’t able to fix our SUV but that’s not the worst part. Anyways At first they said it was the starter. Only for them to say IT WASNT! . Couldn’t figure out the issue. They STILL had the audacity to charge us $1k !! WTH!!! Ridiculous ! Is our car fixed? Nope. ALSO SAID THE OWNER WASN’T REACHABLE, BC HE WAS CURRENTLY IN CHICAGO?… okay….. so? So unprofessional. THEY ARE CROOKS!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

We were driving from Wisconsin to Nebraska with our dogs and the worst thing imaginable happened...our car broke down! Gonzalos was the only one that answered and came ASAP. He did not have the part on hand, but was able to get it same day. He also let us wait in the break room with our dogs for a few hours since we had no place to go. Price was reasonable and he got us back on the road within a few hours and treated us exceptionally well.

Gonzalo's was an absolute lifesaver this morning. They came straight out and got my car going - super professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely be calling them again if/when I need their help.

My vehicle went completely dead and no power, Gonzalo was quick to answer my call and tow my vehicle on busy Sunday for them. Domo was friendly and courteous much so that I had to use the tow service again the next day to take to repair shop. Highly recommend this company over all the local towing services, the others in this area either never called me back or didn’t have a driver available. Thanks again for your help and service Domo!

I would give negative stars if possible. They were to come and tow my vehicle called and said they were there and couldn't find me. They went to the wrong place that would be why. Waited 4 hours . Then said they had other calls and couldn't make it. Still charging me for something they didn't do. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! There are better towing services out there for much less and they wont screw you over!! AGAIN DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

We had a no responds to start and the car was in deep sleep mode (Only the dealership can wake it up) so we couldn’t even put it in neutral. It was parked in the garage with very little room to work. He was able to lift the front with a jack and put a dolly type wheel under the front and get the rear with the tow truck. They did a great Job!

Truly don't know how they have such high rating, I called for a tire change and they charged me $300 TWICE! I was ok with the high price to begin with bc it was night and I understand the dangers of busy roads but $600?? I called and asked for a refund and they said they would but I didn't receive one so I disputed one of the charges through my bank but they kept record of my license plate number and so I lost the dispute!! I wasn't trying to get free service, just wanted one of the charges reversed. DO NOT USE THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE OVERCHARGED!!

Most dangerous service ever. Called at 11 pm saying I needed a tire change as soon as possible. Was told it would be 200 dollars and 30 to 60 minutes. I agreed because I had two small children with me and wanted them safe. 49 minutes later I gota call saying it would be an additional 90 dollars for.them to try and come out in an hour.

I needed a fast reasonable 24/7 service company for lock-outs right away. Dominic, tow driver was amazing! He got the job done in a timely and professional manner. Excellent in communication.

The owner of the company was awesome and was able to come to my rescue immediately. If you are located anywhere in this area I strongly suggest using Gonzalos for your towing needs! I'll surely be using this companies services from here on out! Wish i had used them in the past, reasonable cost and excellent service/customer skills. Thank you for everything!

I am extremely grateful for the assistance I received from Gonzalo’s Towing when I was traveling home to the Quad Cities from a Chicago Cubs game and a deer ran out in front of us and damaged the front of my car. After waiting over two hours in the dark on the side of interstate 88 for my insurance company to arrange Roadside Assistance without any luck, I found Gonzalo’s on Google and took my chances and I am so glad I did! Domo immediately put my mind at ease over the phone, showed up in no time, and not only went above and beyond in getting my car towed, but did so in such a kind and reassuring manner when I was needing it the most. Thank you so much!! Highly recommend them!

I called them . We deal for $195 and hour service. They came 2 hours later and they tow my van out in 20 minutes and charged me $1311.00 . He even charged me $300 for someone he is training. I just asked him why he charged me $1311.00 and he said ohhh why you yelling at me . 1 star is a gift to this thief. They are robbing ppl . Stay away from these thieves!!! I can provide everything with invoices .

Professional and Fair! The owner, Gonzalo, is one of the hardest working people I know. The lead mechanic, Keith, takes the time to explain needed repairs and/or parts. Excellent service for towing and repairs. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I have read all reviews and I am beyond mad. This is the second time using this "company" via AAA. First time the driver had ME drive my vehicle up on tow truck after I argued that was his job! He also stated I could drive the vehicle the 4 miles although, MY back break completely came apart, locked up tire and I had break fluid all over. This was all witnessed by a guy who worked for the City Counsel.. Now, I have a vehicle that would not start. I called AAA and said anyone but, Gonzalos towing! Well, guess who called and showed up to my home. I told the driver whom came to my home of this issue an he said Owner no longer there, went back to Mexico and cost the business a lot of Customers.. I told them to bring a bigger truck as I knew for fact it was not the battery as I checked it. They brought a smaller truck, tested battery and stated they would have to go get a bigger truck. So, here I was waiting for another truck. The young kid I won't say his name came back to tow my truck. I happened to be taking pictures outside and took pictures of my truck on the flat bed.I could not understand or my Husband why it took over 15 minutes in our driveway to hook up truck. This is when I took pictures...... After my truck was repaired I went to pick it up. In a hurry as I had a ride there I jumped in truck and left. Once home I realized I had SEVEN LONG LINES all down the drivers side of my truck! I then realized the small cap on my front drivers tire was missing along with wheel well cover pins out, some missing and it was cracked!!! I called the repair shop and in which I entrust in and he said not by them and known issues with this company. I called AAA and filed a claim right away. I then called Gonazalos and asked for a Manager. Well, the same kid who picked up my truck that he was the Manager. I told him all the issues and he denied. Well, pictures on a tow bed in my drive way do not lie! I then asked for Owner to call me. Well, it has been a week and no call back! I suppose I will have to not only follow up with AAA claim I will have to involve an Attorney. I am beyond enraged at this so called company. I have written a certified letter to AAA Corporate office as well and attached all complaint's off this site to them. Especially the one's where Customers stated they used AAA and damage or poor service when vehicle was towed. My truck has damage to it to begin with and a scheduled appointment to have all fixed was set up. Now, I await to have that all done as Claims Adjuster will need to come out and look at my vehicle and see all NEW PRETTY WHITE LINES ( straps or scraped a tree all down drivers side) all down my truck, on my tail light and more. Do not use this company at any cost as they are very unprofessional and do not take responsibility for their mistakes. For some reason I can only upload one photo. All others during tow in driveway and damage were sent to AAA showing none was there day of tow.
