I would not recommend this company. I was quoted $170 to tow a 1981 Firebird from the pickup location to my home. When the owner, Dave, arrived, his demeanor was unprofessional from the start. He complained about whether he would be able to get his truck out of the muddy area.
He informed me that an item needed to be moved in order to access the vehicle, which I understood and did my best to accommodate despite the item being very heavy and the ground conditions being extremely muddy. After I moved it sufficiently, he stated that he would not complete the tow because he was unable to access the vehicle’s door. He then left the site without properly communicating his concerns or discussing possible alternatives, and he did not attempt to access the door.
I later spoke with Nicki, who answers the phone and was polite and helpful. She mentioned that more difficult tows had been completed in the past and assisted me in finding another company. Ultimately, another towing service was able to tow the vehicle without issue.
If you are looking for reliable service, I recommend Quality Towing in Columbia.
My wife recently contacted PawPaw Towing to move her father’s car, which was not running, from a large farmhouse property. While the wait time was reasonable, the overall experience was very disappointing.
The driver was very rude to my wife and seemed annoyed about the situation and location. What made things worse is that the car was never moved, and the driver left the property without explaining anything or communicating with her. She was left confused and still stuck with the original problem.
When you call a towing company, you expect professionalism and clear communication, especially in a stressful situation involving a family vehicle. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations at all.
We hope the company improves its customer service and communication so others don’t have the same experience.
I have called Paw Paw towing a few times over the past couple of years. Their services are excellent. They are always fast to respond and very helpful. They have gone above and beyond for me more than once and are my first choice in any towing need. As a business owner it gives me great peace of mind to have such a caring company there to help when needed. Keep up the great work!
I had an amazing experience at with Paw Paw Towing! When I went to my car at lunch and discovered a flat tire I panicked but Nikki immediately came to save the day! She was friendly and helpful, and the service was top-notch. Thank you Nikki and mater for getting me back on the road!

Called in middle of the night and no answer left message and no answer back. I wouldn't be saying there 24/7 if not answering calls. But I will try again maybe 1 day
Paw Paw truly helped us out of a jamb. Daughter's car was stolen and recovered, insurance company's tow program failed miserably. Once the insurance company sent it back to us to arrange Paw Paw went above and beyond in helping us with our situation. Nicole was super helpful on the phone and I have never seen a more professional tow truck driver than Dave on top of his decades of experience. Will definitely be using them in the future if the need calls.
I want to thank this family company for coming to help me! Every other towing company told me they could not help me. But they took the time to see what they could do. I have never seen so much effort go into try and help someone out. I love u guys!!
Stood me up. Tried calling numerous times during the agreed pickup time and got a no show. I would take my business elsewhere. Especially if you are stuck on the side of the row
Excellent service! The women who answered my call and came and towed my mothers car was extremely kind and caring. She stayed with my mother until her ride came and made sure she was alright. My mother was upset she was stuck on a busy highway. I was worried and she eased my fears, she came quickly. I’m very appreciative and will use them again, if needed. Will recommend to everyone!
Called Saturday morning 4/10/21 spoke with a gentleman about getting my sisters car towed to my house so that I could fix it for her! He said that’s fine but he is 2 hours behind. I was ok with that wasn’t in a big rush! I told him I would go get the key from my sister at her work at take it and put it in her visor! I took pictures of vin and of vehicle! He quoted me 150 and that he would take payment after I sent pictures and got vehicle ready for him! I drove all that to do so! I called the gentleman after to make payment and verify! He said he would have to call me back for payment! I waited 5 hours then called back a few times to be forwarded to voicemail! Wasted my entire day to be blown off and couldn’t finish my sisters car in time! TERRIBLE!
Highly recommend this service! I am glad I found them and called! Driver Dave was friendly, helpful, quick and on time. Dispatch was friendly and professional. Pricing was very reasonable for the job I asked of them. I needed my truck towed from my neighborhood to the dealership. It wouldn’t start and was parked in a snowy alley. Dave worked his way down the long snowy alley and did the job like a pro. They made everything just easy and quick and painless. If I ever need another tow or road side help I am calling Paw Paw again. Thanks again Dave and Nikki!
Did a great job didnt have any issues very nice and polite took it exactly where I wanted it to go poor guy it was storming so bad but that didnt stop him from doing the job and it didn't tske long at all for them to pick the vehicle up
I'm very happy with PawPaw Towing. I had to use them twice in one week. First was to have the car towed home, and then had to have it towed to the repair shop. They where on time for both appointments. I would recommend to all my friends. And very reasonable on pricing.

My motorcycle broke down and I waited 3 hours for insurance to send someone (roadside assistance with policy) and nothing . They called saying it could be another hour and a half. Called Paw Paw towing and he was there in 20 mins, knew what he was doing and had me on my way. Hopefully won't need towing ever again, but if I do I know who to call.
