Denny was an amazing driver. Came quickly and all the way out of town to the middle of nowhere to get us. Then drove us all the way to Bloomington two hours from where we broke down at. As well as accommodated to all our wants and needs.
Set a time for arrival, and arrived on the dot. Not earlier no later. Also was great with adding us the entire time loading the truck on. Also was very easy to talk to through out the process.
Amazing service! Quick responses by phone call, text, and arrival. After my car broke down on a weekend I gave Richards Autobody & Towing a call and he was able to get me within the hour. While I hope I’ll never be in a situation like this again, I would 100% call them again.
Reed was an absolute life saver today! He came and got us, as we’re traveling back home and our car broke down! He was so kind and I am very thankful for his service today!
After 4 hours on the side of the road waiting for help from AAA which never came. I found Richard’s towing at almost 10pm at night and he came right away to save the day. Friendly and fast service. Would highly recommend them if you are in need of there services to help you.

After waiting for 3 hours for one tow service we contacted Richard’s Autobody and Towing. They came right out and changed our tire quickly and got us back on the road. Big Thank You!
I would recommend Richard’s towing to anyone traveling on that section of hwy 72 across Illinois. Confident, courteous, and knew what he was there to do. Great attitude, even on a day when most people were quietly enjoying the great weather.
My pick-up truck engine lights all kicked on at one time on the expressway, I was fortunate to be able to catch an exit.
From there called Richard’s Towing.
Answered quickly, said he could get to me after his current tow, about an hour.
He called me about 45 minutes later, confirmed my location and headed my way, ten minutes later I was loaded and on my way into town to his recommended hotel and he dropped my truck off at his recommended mechanic.
Tow was great.
Hotel (Green Acres) was great.
Mechanic Shop (Douglas Automotive) was great.
I’m back in the road and all is great.

He was so helpful! I blew a tire on the way to Illinois from Kansas. He took me to the tire shop and helped explain what to do since I’m a girl in my 20s, and have no idea how these things work. I was so stressed and he helped calm me down by being very friendly and informative!
Richards Towing was there so much faster than expected! I sitting on a two lane road with no shoulder and was worried about getting hit. Richards showed up and even though I was halfway on the shoulder and halfway in the ditch got the truck up and loaded and on our way in no time. We made it back to my center with time to spare and the load wasn’t late because of his efficiency. If you need any kind of service I wouldn’t hesitate to use this shop!

My son got his truck stuck at the lake in the snow on a Saturday. They were the only company I called that answered their phone on a Saturday. They came out quickly, had my son unstuck in no time, and charged less than I expected. Highly recommend!

My car wouldn't start even with charging my battery and I live a few hours away. Insurance couldn't get anyone out to me. Richards was the only towing company that was willing to help me out on a Saturday night. Ried was incredibly polite and had the best customer service. He was able to get me up and running in no time. I'm so impressed with their professionalism. 10/10 for sure!!
Richard’s auto body and towing was beyond helpful when my transmission went out at 1:30 am on the interstate. Reid went above and beyond to get us off the road and make sure everyone got to a safe place before heading in for the night. Living seven hours away, I relied on Richard’s towing to get my car to the repair shop the following Monday and they made sure that a stressful situation went smoothly and communicated the entire time.

I was moving across the country when I hit a deer in the middle of the night on a Saturday around 11:00pm, and the bump broke my coolant line causing the vehicle to overheat. Reid and Chris got my car towed very quickly and had my truck fixed by Sunday morning. Amazing service, great value and an impressive turnaround time. AAA had around a 14-hour wait time just to tow me, while these guys managed to tow and fix my vehicle overnight on a weekend to get me back on the road. Highly recommend this service.
Wait over an Hour and Half for AAA. So I decided to find another Towing Service in Pittsfield,IL when I came across Richards Towing. so I called them and a very nice guy answered and was very helpful and assured me that he would be here soon and tow me to The O'REILLY in town. Once we were there and talking to the guys at O'REILLY'S we decided to take our van to Douglas Auto repair recommended by Tow Driver. After dropping off our Vehicle at Douglas, I asked tow driver if he could drop us off at the local McDonald's so we could wait for a Friend (coming from Springfield,IL) to pick us up. This driver went up and beyond the call of duty to help my Husband and I (who are both Handicapped) Make a terrible situation very easy and stress free. Excellent service with them being fast an efficient with towing our van in after a collision with a deer on the interstate at 11:30 pm on a Saturday night. They were helpful with the insurance company checking out our van and storage. They were always available with any questions we had.

I hit a deer in my semi truck fully loaded with cattle. Busted my radiator and couldn’t drive the truck anywhere. Reid not only got to me as fast as he could he took special care of my truck and trailer. Then went out of his way to help me find a shop capable of fixing the damages and helped me get to town to a hotel. I highly recommend this company best services and most friendly people I have ever had to do business with.
