When it rains it pours. I had two vehicles go wonky on me at once! Two! Mike helped me and my son out by swapping out what vehicle he was working on and getting it done fast. He was very helpful and explained everything. I also found out he’s not just a business in wonder lake. He’s lived here for years. And that’s nice to hear. I love when businesses are not just in the community but from the community. He helped me with prices and made sure I saw everything he did. E even helped my son find cheaper parts for his vehicle. He did what he could without overcharging and for that I’m grateful. I know I have some other things that need to be fixed on my vehicle and I know I’ll be going to Mikes for it.

My family and I has been taking our vehicles to Mikes Automotive in Wonder lake for many years now and have never experienced any problems with his detail to correcting the problems. His knowledge is above many in the automotive and boat mechanics field. It doesn't matter if its vehicle electrical or mechanical his garage is superior. He also winterizes and shrink wraps boats of all types and stores them.
Tell you the truth Mike is a pretty good guy I have to go there to get my babe reevaluated every month and I'll tell you the truth I don't mind going to him the man's efficient on what he does and he tries to take care of you

I've never had a better experience from an auto shop!
My front right turn signal light had been out for a couple months and I finally got around to getting it fixed. Called Mike Auto Service and they could not have been more helpful. Spoke with Mike and he told me to bring my car by right then and he could look at it.
Ended up bringing it in the next day, he stopped what he was doing and immediately looked at my turn signal light, and it was replaced/working within a few minutes. The front headlight had also been collecting water from the rain and he pointed out where the glue had dried on the top which was causing this to happen. He recommended a body shop for the replacement but ensured that it doesn't need to be an immediate fix.
He then refused any payment from me and is honestly the sweetest mechanic that I have ever encountered.

This person came back a few week later and gave a second change and we took very good care of. I am the owner of Mike Automotive and was not there on the day she came in it was Saturday. The manager that was there he is new and look up the wrong make and model on there vehicle. I have been service moms car for years.
If I could give negative stars to these crooks I would. I asked for a quote (which they said say are free) to see why my vehicle is overheating. I was quoted $450 for a new water pump. I called another local repair shop and was told $150 and if I bought the $25 part. So I called mikes automotive back and said I'm taking it elsewhere, then the worker (as mike wasn't there) told me I owed him $75. I asked why and he said for a quote. I complained and he drop the price to $25 (after he said he talked to the boss) To be honest I think the worker was trying to do a side job and pocket the money. STAY AWAY! !!! THESE GUYS ARE HORRIBLE
Had them work on my girlfreinds van and they did a complete break job (rotors and drums and everything on a rusty old beater). They were very upfront and honest about the issues and did everything they could to get the job done right and keep it with in my budget. Break job was great, would definitely recommend them.
