Nothing against this location other than Karen who was rude to me in front of my son. Took the day off to shop with my family and was looking for antique furniture for my home and i came across an old piece that i was eager to buy with how old it was. I definitely missed the sign that asked customers not to touch — my fault 100%. however, her rude approach was so unnecessary instead of asking me nicely and reminding me of the signs professionally she came up directly next to me making the comment “well i guess this means nothing!” With a snarky attitude and rude tone. I walked away disappointed that happened as i really wanted that piece of furniture for my new home. ? this ruined the rest of the shopping experience and from here i checked out with what i had and left. Who ever this vendor is…..Golden rule—treat others the way you want to be treated. Happy international womens day to you karen! I will make sure i will not shop that zone ever again. The employees and store are amazing. This vendor should stick to doing only garage sales.

We came up from Indiana and we frequently visit the highland location and honestly would choose that one over this location any day. The prices are INSANE for almost every booth. And some prices would be justifiable if it weren’t damaged, missing prices or not a knockoff. Majority of the tchotchkes I picked up were like I said damaged, knockoffs or missing pieces or even poor quality. Price gouging your customers is disrespectful to your customers. Majority of the tchotchkes I picked up were I don’t know if they are guidelines for how to price items in booths but the owners of this location should really need to get a reality check. For future customer if your wanting to do some true antiquing and get hidden gems for good (justifiable) prices this is not the place.

If you’re looking to purchase antiques then do not come here. If you’re looking to shop around and have a vaguely vintage-themed shopping experience then maybe this will do something for you. Calling this place an antique mall is generous and truly stretches the definition of antique. I’m sure lots of folks enjoy this but it’s not for me.

I have also visited the location in Indiana, and there is no comparison. This location in IL is amazingly good. Antiques abound. There are some hand crafted items and collectibles and new items. But majority is vintage cool stuff! I always end up spending hours - be sure to pick up a coffee at Biggby's first!

I love collecting coins and comics and jewelry. This mall has it and prices are reasonable. There is also a lot of other staff .But for me best what is inside glass cabinets with locks.

My girlfriend found this place on TikTok We saw they had the viral Starbucks bear cup at this booth filled with hello kitty stuff ? Well worth the drive because I also found a really cool pokemon showcase as well. It was worth the drive for both me and my gf because we found alot of stuff we both like ?

Amazing place to walk around and find unique decor, gifts and more! I love the variety of things and you could go more than one time because it’s ever changing! Booths are reorganized with new items all the time! You’ll find tons of antiques, handmade items, gourmet treats, collectibles, nostalgia, furniture pieces and so much more! We love the KinzieShay booth G9 and and the Sweetest Favor booth right by the fountains. It seems the fountain area is the perfect “gift hub” for candles, bath and body, sweets and treats, puzzles, and so much more! The staff is also super kind, everyone seems to love their job and is happy to help with anything you need! Shout out to Dana, Ally & Noah who do so much planning activities throughout the year and create a nice shopping environment.

My wife and daughters has been begging me to take her to this place since it was rumored they had labubus fair enough they did and was worth the 2 hour drive, workers were very nice it was our first time there and spent hours here. They have a good mix between vintage and new items and overall was a nice time here and would come back. Pokémon cards were reasonably priced and did $5 were a steal ?

This place has gone downhill. Most of the vendors are selling Temu counterfeit/garbage items at 10x prices for what you can get them for on temu. The highlights being the primitives and handcraft items. There are some decent vendors still trying to make it work. There's a few gems scattered throughout but they definitely represent the minority. I used to come here regularly, but I do not think I will return again. The lack of people there tells me I am not the only one who has given up on this location. The one near Gary is much better, with many more genuine vintage/antique booths and SUBSTANTIALLY less temu counterfeit sellers. It is very disappointing to see an antique mall taken over by basically cheap garbage, while the best vendors struggle. The employees are nice. Thats why they get two stars instead of one. I did see some earrings covered in blood which is really gross.

This place has a wide variety of antiques and collectibles. Pricing varies quite a bit. Just research whatever you intend on buying because you never know if it was marked up from a Savers purchase.

America's "Antique" Mall, but there is more craft, 3D print, and Funko pop stuff than actual vintage and antiques. Some booths are crazy overpriced.

Hello! A.A.M. has so much of everything, but the M9 booth is where you want to shop. I got to meet the purveyor, Kathy, while I was there. Her booth-especially for those looking for GENUINE antique and vintage items-is nicely curated and well presented. I picked up a nearly 100-year-old kitchen scale. The perfect mix of age and condition, and priced properly. Take a walk throughout the mall, but do stop by and shop at the M9 booth. The holidays are right around the corner, so get something unique and personal for those in your life; or for yourself!

In case you were wondering what's going on here... I attached photos and you're going to need 5 hours just to walk half of it. Careful bringing children and letting them roam or run, as children often do. There are genuine antique and breakable items (even I almost knocked over a glass jar/vase.) I'd come here to: kill time, shop for vintage presents, peruse jewelry, vinyls, cds, and comics. There was a fair amount of modern crafts, like 3D printed things, which I bought some cute animals for stocking stuffers this year. However, some of the designs were clearly cloned, maybe from free online patterns, so that made me eyeroll a bit given their price tags and the novelty exploitation. There's also some of what we think we're AI artworks on wall scrolls. I think some of the pricing is ambitious but I'm guessing sellers may set their own pricing in their displays. There was a space towards the back (don't quote me on the location) with a lot of comics and graphic novels that were in like-new condition. I wanted to live there. The diversity of things you'll see here is worth the visit. Count on spending hours here. We arrived, intent on an hour or so, and heard the first hourly music trivia about 10 mins in. Four music trivias later I abruptly turned toward the front of the store and told my teen were checking out and leaving. Yes. Time ran away that fast.

I’m a regular at the Antique Mall and have been a picker for as long as I can remember. The booths are wonderfully eclectic and always fun to explore. I love digging through and finding treasures that others might have overlooked. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help. It’s a great place to spend an afternoon hunting for unique finds.

I came here on a weekend for my daughters both of them love hello kitty and would not stop asking for me to take them to this place. We saw the video on TikTok so we stopped in. Was a bit hard to find were this specific section was but everything was affordable and they both left very happy. Will be back again perhaps around Christmas time

Huge indoor curated treasure trove! Well themed displays with many small shops. Quite a few sweet shops also mixed in. It was an excellent experience.

Pretty solid antique mall offering a wide variety of stuff, from the usual junk you would expect, to handmade stuff that is pretty decent quality, to True vintage. All of this is at a wide variety of prices, but the trend is being slightly higher than not. Got to pay those booth fees, I suppose Still, at 50,000 square feet, it's a great way to kill an afternoon and get your steps in. Quite a few booths were under construction while we were there so I imagine that the turnover is pretty high so you could really go every weekend and see new stuff. I like the one in Highland Indiana a little bit better, but I'm glad to see this company expand and offer vintage stuff in one big collected space

Incredible amount of selection, great place for seasoned and beginner collectors. A little bit of everything for everyone- trinkets, tchotchkes, knick knacks. All sorts of eras. They have small shopping carts you can easily move through the mall with which was helpful. The mall and aisles were spacious. Reasonable prices for the area and it was not picked through. Customer service was great too!

This place is fantastic! You could easily lose yourself exploring its vast collection of antiques and vintage treasures. It truly has everything you need in one spot. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the whole place is spotless, making it a wonderful spot to spend time with your loved ones. Also, I'm a vendor there, and you’ve probably seen my booth (H6) — the one that stands out with its unique collection of wooden pieces_SHAM?

Corner House Collected (Booth J15) has been here (AAM) since opening day! It has been such a fun experience and I’ve really enjoyed the creative outlet! I’ve also met many new friends who share my love for all things vintage! The staff and management have been very helpful and always ask if I need anything! Come join the fun!!!

I had a good experience at this antique mall. It is massive! You could spend hours in here, and they even have an area in the back where you can sit down if you need a shopping break. There is a mix of vintage finds, homemade items, and local art items. The clothing selection was decent. Vintage handbags galore, and lots of high-end formal wear. ✨️ ? Like most antique malls, prices varied from vendor to vendor, with some being amazing and some being downright ridiculous. The staff were plentiful, and check out was quick and efficient! Would come back again!!

Being a vendor at this antique mall has been a great experience. The staff is friendly and helpful to both vendors and shoppers. We love to source vintage items and bring them to our booth, Second Chance Vintage, K16. We refresh and replenish weekly to keep things looking fresh. With over 400 booths and showcases, there is something for everyone!

I am the Owner of Shadow Dreams LLC. Founded in 2012. and a vendor at the American Antique Mall in Algonquin. I cannot express how grateful I am for Karen Mavros, ( General Manager ) her assistant managers Allie and Chrissy and the entire supporting team. They have been Golden. They follow the rules as laid out in our contracts, have been extremely supportive and patient when explaining all and are always around with helpful suggestions. Advertising has been phenomenal, Via Social Media, Newspaper Articles and even 2 Large Bill Boards promoting our location. The Rent price ( Per Square Foot ) is on the low to average amount for the Collar counties of Chicago. The 12% Commission is within the same ball park as well. The store is beautiful, well lit, and well staffed. The American Antique Mall / Algonquin is almost completely full. If you are considering becoming a Vendor don’t wait !!! I normally do not take the time to write reviews… in actuality I don’t have a lot of extra time with all that I do but I read an extremely negative Ex- Vendor Review that pushed me to to take the time to write this. Please keep in mind. Those that are disgruntled are usually losing $$$ or not making profit $$$. Why would someone leave if they were making profit ? Why trash the store and the staff ? This is disheartening to others that may be just beginning their journeys and I find it infuriating and sad. For the Newbies, Please don’t listen to the negative. If it is as bad as the Ex-Vendor portrays why did I just open my 3rd booth space ? Better yet, I am in the store a lot restocking etc… Come find me and introduce yourself. I am close to retirement age and after owning and operating my own business’s for decades I had to speak out in support of The Algonquin / American Antique Mall and their entire team. I thank them all for going beyond what is the norm.

My dad and I visited during the days between Christmas and New years. It was surprisingly busy.. but not too busy. The stores booths have filled up nicely with some availability. We didn't walk the whole thing due to my dad getting tired (he walked) but they did have a few wheel chairs.. and carts! Still a lot of Christmas decor, a few sweets booths. A wide variety of priced items. Sometimes these booth type malls are very pricey across the board. This one was not. Found some cute things and I'll be back!
