Knowledgeable and helpful staff made it easy to get the parts I needed, in stock that day. Also, the tool rental service is really nice; borrowed two items to do the job, returned them and was on my way, no hassle.
Dixon O’Reillys is much friendlier and easier to work with than the Rock Falls O’Reillys.
I had tried exchanging a part I had bought two years prior with a lifetime warranty to the Rock Falls, O’Reillys, the lady behind the counter, would not exchange my part, and she accused me of not bringing the original part and wanted me to pay full price for a new one.
So I drove over to the Dixon O’Reillys, which is about 25 minutes from my house walked in and a nice gentleman there had the new part ordered within 5 minutes and said there would be no problem at all exchanging it
Guy tried to sell my friend a timing chain for a 230 Chevy 6 cyl said chain only no gears for chain though...Problem is that motor only has gears NO CHAIN IN THESE MOTORS TOTAL FAIL
The staff doesn't want to help or even take your money. It would have been fine if there was self checkout but otherwise you have to wait a while for someone acknowledge that it's their job to take my money in exchange for items and not stand there and hold the counter upright. Was an interesting visit for sure.
Great parts store. They didn't have my part in stock. Got it delivered to the store in 4 hours. Thanks goes to Jeffrey who was working the counter that day.
Always very helpful for me as woman who knows nothing. They came out and looked at my truck and noticed & told me what I needed to stop the oil leak. I bought it went home and hubby was so proud of me 😉 Thank You O'Reillys!!!
Once again gave me the wrong parts. The kicker was that not only was it the wrong part, it was something that came off of someone else's vehicle. Clerk said it's been there for at least 10 years and didn't know who brought it in or what make/model it was for. He sure didn't mind charging me $177.15 for it. The box was taped shut, didn't think it would contain someone else's junk. This place is a joke. I can't say I have ever received the right parts unless I picked them out myself.
Extremely nice and helpful people. Since our elderly parents car battery had a Ken Nelson sticker on it they had us go there to see if there was a valid warranty that could be used. Employee Dang was outstanding and when we came back changed out the battery for us for much less than the Buick dealership. Thank you !
Thanks to the new manager Justin, we won't be doing business with O'Reilly auto parts in Dickson anymore extremely rude and always having issues with parts failing as well
